I love that when you review a product, you give us so many techniques. No one else does that. Thank you for spending so much time so we can make an informed purchase!
Funny coincidence... I have the top flight app on my phone. I couldn't fall asleep last night, so I started scrolling through it and I stumbled upon the infusion! And I put several in my basket.I fell in LOVE! I never did place the order, it's pretty big! I feel like karma stepped in... And now I can use your discount! I went a little, you went a little! Winner, winner, chicken dinner
I just ordered 9 of the, Infusions brand! I adore these pigments and will be using them a LOT! THANK YOU for telling us about a more frugal option 😊 I enjoy the multi colors above all!
Playing with my brushos and the marion smith color lab powders is fun! I have added shimmer by using perfect pearls in the water, or adding a little iridescent watercolor medium to the wet pigment on the paper. Great cards Lindsay! Stencils are AMAZING, but I never would have thought of using these with stamps. I also never thought of using them with my almost never used texture paste. Thank you!
Such fun, Lindsay! A new technique for me is applying embossing ink to the stamp followed by a sprinkle of powder on the stamp, and off we go. Will be trying that, thanks!
I really enjoyed seeing how much you played and experimented. I have a winter sleigh stamp with presents and birds, it’s so busy, I don’t really know how to colour it, it just looks bad when I colour everything. Maybe it would look better with a lose style like you did on the Paris scene.
Thank you so much Lindsay, I’ve really really enjoyed watching you experiment with the water colour pigments. Some of the effects you got were stunning and gorgeous too. Thank you to for taking the time and effort to make this video for us all. Stay safe and well too xxx Mags
I have played with a lot of things but never pigment powders. Watching you videos can be hazardous to my budget but it won't stop me from watching! Thanks for introducing me to another neat technique and set of products!
Thank you for sharing so many techniques! I love watercolor powders, and they were quite affordable to get started in. I started with 1 bottle with multiple colors and got lots of cool veregated looks. Now I'm slowly building my collection!
That's fun stuff for sure! I love playing with powders (and distress oxides) to create backgrounds, using stencils and resist embossing techniques. I love the mosaic stencil look and that giraffe, with his head always above the clouds, is so cute!
"If you hear a voice within you say 'you cannot paint,' then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced". Vincent Van Gogh this is awesome every one of them looks so pretty and lovely thank you Lindsay for sharing this❤😊👍👌
Hi, I have the Brushos but had not used them much until I made them up into sprays with water and a little rubbing alcohol. You only need a tiny amount of powder. The spray will not be multicoloured but the colours are vibrant and beautiful. But I will definitely be trying these techniques with the powders. Many thanks for the great ideas.
I really like the way the pebbled/rock background came out. I don’t have watercolor pigment powder but do have some perfect pearls. Would these be the ones you add Gum Arabic to and if yes, how much and where would I find Gum Arabic? Thanks Lindsay!
If you disintegrate your paper with water, it would likely still work well as a texture. Just tear up the good parts and use them as a frame or something. This is all pretty. I wonder how much different these water color powders are from the old powder dyes I have....
Its similar to fine powder dyed that don't containt salt. For instance rit die doesn't react like this but the fine dye powders in the dye kits work great (the soda ash 8s separate in those dyes so you just get the color) give it a try:)
My faves were all the ones with texture paste! Those really came out super nice. Have you seen the new Pink Ink stamp and die sets? They had 5 different ones at Top Flight and I bought them all...Lol! Thanks for this great video.
They look beautiful, I have a bunch of Brusho powders but haven't been brave enough to try them but after watching you I think I will try them. Thanks for sharing.
I love this idea for making backgrounds Lindsay. It looks relaxing and fun at the same time. I especially liked when you used the texture paste. Thanks for sharing your tips and thoughts about the paper used as well. I will definitely be giving this a try!!❤️🌹
Your nails are great. Did your daughter do them again. I just got my order of Accent Opague cardstock based on your recommendation and I thrilled with it. The price is great and it stamps like a dream. Just the right weight.
She did! Thanks! I'm glad you like the paper but I didnt recommend it, it was Mary Polonco (not sure on the spelling) I think because I bought some after watching her comparison and it was on sale:)
Hello from a longtime lurking subscriber! Just wanted to say hi from Oklahoma, and tell you that I always enjoy your videos. Your energy and passion are infectious and you've often helped me emerge from a crafty rut. Thanks for everything!
This looks incredibly fun and I think I am going to try this in the future. The cards you made look interesting and watching you make them was oddly relaxing.
Hi... I had so much fun watching you play and was already thinking of my own supplies to use. I recently got my Brusho powders out to create subdued gel print backgrounds for cards using Lavinia stamps... now I am ready for this bold look! I love the patterns you made using texture paste and stencils so look forward to trying those techniques. TFS and have a great day! 🙂
I've drooled over pigment powders for a while now. I'll get some eventually. :) If you use cardstock and can't get it perfectly flat again run it through your die cutting machine. I've even embossed papper, colored it and then embossed it again.
I like the texture paste backgrounds best. I've played with texture paste both the expensive art store stuff and the dollar store spackle and caulking, and there really isn't much difference. I've never used the powders with the texture paste, so I'll be trying that soon. Using versamark on a stamp before sprinkling with the powder is genius. Love those backgrounds too.
I like your suggestion for texture paste as I always thought that trying this would mean buying something beyond what I could reasonably justify. Would love to give this a go. Thanks.
Those cards turned out AMAZING! I've had Ken Oliver pigment powders in my Amazon wish list for forever. Now I want to order them! I'm a big fan of texture paste, I use it a lot in my art journaling and collage.
Hi, thanks for the inspiration. I'm going to try some pastes through stencils with my pixies and brushes. I like the ones with the multicolour pigments too. Rebecca x
to lift colour of the page in a pattern colour the page and let it dry then with a stencil you can remove colour with bleach on a sponge.... the more colour you put down first the greater the contrast will be then you lift the colour of with the bleach. tfs
I really like the texture paste with the mozaic swirls stencil. i did a quick search and could not find it. Do you know if it is still available and where? I have some brushos and haven't played with them in a long time. Once again I am on it!
So, I drilled holes in some old ink jet cartridges and got the coloured powder out. I mixed it with alcohol, and spread it around on a page. Once it dried, the powder had just turned back into powder. Any ideas on what to mix it with or spray it with to get it to stay put on the page?
Gosh Lindsay, I’ve never seen you with color on your nails. Very pretty. I was wondering, I have some heavy gesso, would that work as a texture paste over stencils?
Fantastic results - thanks for introducing me to a less expensive powder pigment!
Lovely fun backgrounds
Beautiful backgrounds. Fun video.
i really look foward to your videos. my fave one is the kids make over room video and craft room on a budget one you made for friend.
So nice watercolor work 👍
I love that when you review a product, you give us so many techniques. No one else does that. Thank you for spending so much time so we can make an informed purchase!
Found it and ordered it and some powders using your code. Thanks Lindsey!
Fantastic! 👍👍👍😁
I loved the one that looked like rocks with black texture paste!
Thanks Lindsay. Fun to watch. Hats off to all you print makers. I just can't comprehend how to do this by just watching. Mine would be all mud. Lol.
Oh, I've made mud too, just play through the mud and once you come out on the other side it will be beautiful!
Funny coincidence... I have the top flight app on my phone. I couldn't fall asleep last night, so I started scrolling through it and I stumbled upon the infusion! Nice!
So much fun!

You're welcome! I think it would be perfect for a card making machine like you, you can make so many backgrounds in no time!
Thank you as always. I liked them all but was take with the Parisian scene and thinking about stamps I already own with that.
The powders are great fun! Thanks Lindsay.😄
LOL 😄🎨😉 @ blowing your nose and finding orange pigment!!
I loved the texture paste designs, thank you for all your videos
Wow! Thank you for sharing Lindsay! So much fantastic info in one tutorial! Greetings from Australia! :)
Very fun!
Such fun, Lindsay! A new technique for me is applying embossing ink to the stamp followed by a sprinkle of powder on the stamp, and off we go. Will be trying that, thanks!
You can also make texture paste using baby powder white glue and water
I really enjoyed seeing how much you played and experimented. I have a winter sleigh stamp with presents and birds, it’s so busy, I don’t really know how to colour it, it just looks bad when I colour everything. Maybe it would look better with a lose style like you did on the Paris scene.
I love the way the round stamps turned out!
beautiful backgrounds Lindsay!
Amazing!
You have such great ideas, thank you again Lindsay!
That was such a fun video! Thanks! Will try but I am not an artist like you so my results will be very different! Second time I watched the video.
I love your videos!! I have some Brusho. You have inspired me to get them out!! Thank you for another great video!
Thank you so much Lindsay, I’ve really really enjoyed watching you experiment with the water colour pigments. Some of the effects you got were stunning and gorgeous too. Thank you to for taking the time and effort to make this video for us all. Stay safe and well too xxx Mags
So interesting! Really fun and pretty!

Love your techniques. Thank you for showing us how to be messy and fun. I'm going to give this a try. Gotta find the gloves, first.
love it
Really super effects from those powders 😍

So cooooool :) Great art video

I have been holding off on buying pigment powders...but this looks so fun!!! I want to try them!!! Thanks again Lindsay! So many great ideas! 😊💐
Aw man... now I need watercolor pigment powders 😂
Beautiful! Love the results!
Love these! Xxx
I really like the way the pebbled/rock background came out. I don’t have watercolor pigment powder but do have some perfect pearls. Would these be the ones you add Gum Arabic to and if yes, how much and where would I find Gum Arabic? Thanks Lindsay!
They already have fun arabic in them so you are good to go:)
Thank you!
Love them all!
Loved the paste effect
Just the right time...🤣I got the 24 set for my Birthday last week...🥰

@@thefrugalcrafter Thanks for the info. Mine are the Procion dyes I once used for fabric. I might try them.
My faves were all the ones with texture paste! Those really came out super nice. Have you seen the new Pink Ink stamp and die sets? They had 5 different ones at Top Flight and I bought them all...Lol! Thanks for this great video.
I haven't seen them yet, I'll have to look!
I love Infusions... I own every single color... I love that you can mix them with other brands... awesome creations. great ideas, thanks.
They look beautiful, I have a bunch of Brusho powders but haven't been brave enough to try them but after watching you I think I will try them. Thanks for sharing.

@@thefrugalcrafter Thanks for the correction. I watch both of you and thought it was. I will have to let Mary know. Have a blessed day.
I hadn't thought of using the powders like that with a stamp. Very cool technique. I love the Nuvo shimmer powders. I have one Ken Oliver, too.
I dont have any of these powders but they look so fun! I need some
Loved these techniques. I have a problem with being relaxed and free and letting things happen. Need to practice. You got some amazing results.
What stamp is that Paris rooftop scene? I love that!
It's by katzelkraft, there are a couple similar ones brand new, click the link to Stamos in the description to see them all!
Hello from a longtime lurking subscriber! Just wanted to say hi from Oklahoma, and tell you that I always enjoy your videos. Your energy and passion are infectious and you've often helped me emerge from a crafty rut. Thanks for everything!
Aww, thanks!
These are great ideas! I have brushos and look forward to trying these out!
This looks incredibly fun and I think I am going to try this in the future. The cards you made look interesting and watching you make them was oddly relaxing.
Just go to the dollar tree and buy some calk. Were all a little crazy its not a competition. Love your humor.

If you stamp over the printed message, you can lift with paper towel???
Cool effect with stencils. Will this work with nuvo shimmer powders? Thanks Lindsay.
I dont have those so I cant say for sure but I dont see why not.
I have some ken olivers and have used them but I will give it a try!! Should you use only red rubber stamps? Thanks for sharing!!
It dosnt matter, any kind should work:)
Hi, thanks for the inspiration. I'm going to try some pastes through stencils with my pixies and brushes. I like the ones with the multicolour pigments too. Rebecca x

I'm not sure, stampendous now owns Dreamweaver stencils so you could try their website.

Please be careful, if it is a powder it might be toner and not ink. Ink jet cartridges use liquid ink
OH my goodness, yes it was a laser toner cartridge!
Looks like SO MUCH FUN. What do you do with all those backgrounds?
Use them for handmade greeting cards.
Gosh Lindsay, I’ve never seen you with color on your nails. Very pretty.
I was wondering, I have some heavy gesso, would that work as a texture paste over stencils?
It should:)
I love ❤️ messy!!! These look like a lot of fun!! Could you please spell the name of the stamp company? Is it Tinsel Craft? Thank you Lindsay 🥰
Katzelkraft
Katzelkraft and I linked yo their Stamos in the description, they are so unique!
I have mica powders, no gum Arabic though, is there anything else I can use?
Seal it with hairspray when you are done.
Where to do get your stencils?
Everywhere! Topflight has great ones, I also like the crafters workshop. I buy them at the craft store too. I've been building my stash for years lol!
Whenever you kept saying just keep playing I thought of Dory just keep swimming, just keep swimming lol
Yes!
i use these in my doll house i made i am re making it new box's.
Are you at all worried that the undissolved crystals will bleed if moistened by hands/water or drop onto a surface and reactivate?
Not really, the papers get pretty soaked. I haven't had a problem handling the cards afterward but you could use final fixative if you were worried.
🖤👏👏👏
Brusho is actually ink based.
Say "water color pigment powders" 3 times fast!
Looks so messy! I am freaking out
I love it though
