There is only 1 option for players to do, and thats to write down this player, and if he dont pick yi, just doge, dont talk dont do anything just doge que no matter what, if he create another account, remember that name to and so on, its insanely hard to detect soft inting as he do, sometimes when im 99% sure we lose and my team refuse to surr i soft int myself (refusing to teamfight and just keep pushing side lanes works 100%) but it's so rare for me to do such a thing.
It's honestly not petty dude. People like this are uncommon, but they really ruin games when you get them. In my honest opinion though, the best thing riot could do for this game is completely remove chat.

I once played a game as Vayne top (ik I'm disgusting but that's not the point here) and I ended up 3/15 because Olaf and Talon jg kept fucking me. I didn't intend to feed, I was just absolutly dog shit with this champion but it was never my intent to purposly lose this game. I learned from my mistakes and i won't play her anymore on ranked, but it would be unfair to get banned just because you didn't perform one game

I don't know, I've had people in my team that did move the worst way possible, like they were inting, and when I point out how bad they are, thay say "sorry, first time with this champion"

Can confirm, he does intentionally soft int. Added him a couple months back after what I thought was just a bad Zil game for him (I'm a Morg/Zil main) and was going to offer to teach him. Said he appreciated the offer, but it wasn't necessary. I was curious, so I asked him why. He said to check his match history. Saw the Yi games. Now confused, I asked what the diff was. He said he was a booster who played Yi when he was being paid to boost others and kept his main at this ELO by soft inting. I of course reported him, but Riots goona be Riot xD

@@Ravlol It is that way so it can somehow show both perspectives. Morde does his ult animation and then they're in the ult, but it has to show what happens inside and outside of it, too.

i like this idea but it has the potential to turn into people just witch hunting players because they think they're smurfing or throwing games or whatever. like what if this yi player was actually just a one trick that is awful on other champs and ends up getting mass reported anyway? obviously thats not the case here but my point is that it can be hard to tell, especially in low elo. its possible that it just ends up leading to innocent players getting banned because people think they're purposely ruining games when they aren't. but i trust that rav will take these things into account if he decides to do this
@@isafi6408 hmm then Rav just needs better helpers or Co partners in his team to filter the deserving or innocent players but in the Great scheme of things and the more you think about it yeah it will be hard for 1~2 people to get it right and a bigger team will be needed .. either way you need to start at some point and am sure if words gets out on discord and youtube more will participate .
Btw rav the mord ult did go off, just in replay viewer it doesnt show them becoming the orbs or them going to into the death realm, it just makes them transparent which is what happened. great video btw!

I believe that the problem wasn't you inting or not, this is out of your control and clearly Riot should be way stricter on that. It's essentially matchfixing which is against their ToS especially when its obvious like that Yi
Had this happen to me with another NA player, ousant. When he gets top he's got an amazing wr. But unlucky for me he got mid, which meant he went Trundle/smite. He started by stealing red and blue and shadowing the Trynd jg to steal camps, roamed all game, stole canons and cs, oh, and used e to knock Cait out of her ult, deny Teemo his recall, and knock support turned mid Lux me back into enemy aoe. But because he ended the game with around 200 cs our reports were flat out ignored. Trynd even tilted and typed "yone, free kills" to the enemy and ran it down a few times. Looking at the account when he's top with Trynd or anyone their kda's are fantastic. But when they don't get mid? They throw a tantrum and sabotage their own team. Guess what Riot's done about our reports and the multiple games since then... yep, got it in one, absolutely nothing. And yes, I have the replay and a POV recording I started after champ select where they banned Teemo's pick (because top jealousy or something), everything was completely bannable and they should be banned, yet for some reason ousant is still playing while Riot's a-ok with our Bronze butts getting our LP stolen because of the 30/30/40 rule, or whatever other justification to keep the trolls spending money. All we can do is report. Riot has made it clear they do not want vigilantes on the rift, even though they define typing "stop stealing cs" as being negative and argumentative. They want us all to just shut up and take it and be grateful we have the opportunity to earn LP without keeping their own playground clean for those of us in the right elo. Trolls, afks, support bots/AI running around meaning 25% of the time support main me gets accused of being a robot in champ select... LoL is the gift that keeps on gaslighting. See that is the attitude why most players quit. Every game is a diceroll for is it going to be fun: No trolls or feeders, smurfs or soft-inters on either team. 100% he is using a bot to keep his account in gold so he can smurf on Yi. The way he moves when playing other champions is exactly the same way bots move with their afks, missing abilities, pathing and auto attacks. If you watch more of the replays on other champs the more you see the patterns that only bots could follow so consistently.
If you've ever had bots in your games, you'd know it for sure. I've played with so many win traders and rank boosters. When they soft int, they usually put a bot on Yuumi/Zilean/Tariq. This is definitely a Zilean ai, and he's just chilling in the background.

He's definitely soft throwing. Especially seeing how efficient he is when he plays his main vs how inefficient he is when isn't. Sure, you do some things like that worse when playing a champion that isn't your main, but not to that degree. So he's either ruining the rank experience for everyone or sharing an account with someone much worse than him.
No league player let's someone play ranked on their account. Maybe aram or a normal, but ranked? Highly doubtful. So he's just throwing to stay in the rank he wants to stay in. Probably because he knows the higher elos shit all over Yi. 🤔
This will be easily fixed if they let you cap out your rank. I'd rather have this Yi win on either team, than watch a zilean inting on either team. Riot doesn't care about smurfs might as well let them freely smurf instead of forcing them to int 40% of the time.
It's just like you said, Rav. That guy is "soft-inting" his games, to stay in his desired elo. Even if you switch champs you still keep your basic skills no matter what/who you play and from the clips you showed us it's apparent that he really doesn't give 2 cents about that match when playing as Zilean. The issue is that it's impossible to ban such a behavior. It can't be detected by the system and if you consider it from a grand scale point of view, Riot doesn't have the manpower to individually scan through all accounts and look for oddities. So I wouldn't blame Riot for this, because they are hardly at fault here. The only thing that would help is to update the system, by either giving the people some reward/insentive to play in the Elo they belong to or maybe some sort of detection that acknowledges players stats and distributes them to the right Elo (along the line of "oh you have 84% winrate? Try the next Elo because clearly you know how to play the game." Obviously this would need some closer observation and thinking).
well, how do they know that he has 84% winrate before he queues up? what if yi gets banned and he ends up on a 17% winrate champion? the system had to detect before hand that he should be playing against diamond players, but now his main champ got banned and he should have been queued against bronze players. it simply doesnt work.
@@snaxximan5737 Hence why I said this needs proper system-update. My example was obviously just talking out of my ass on the spot. Doesn't mean it's impossible to follow a route along those lines; just an example that the system doesn't need to evaluate his rank before he matches up but after. That the system is acknowledging the statistic after a certain amount of matches and win-ratio and is saying "Okay, you don't belong here, we rank you up." It's not impossible, nothing ever seldom is. It's just that the details need to be worked out by someone within the system, not by me.
I can't play much, just like 1-2 games a day max, so I often rock a 70%+ winrate on champs, but I don't play enough that I think I should be higher ranked. Highest I ever had was like 80%+ winrate on Yorick.

The integrity of rank games isn't a thing. I mean you get matched with people that are terrible when you're on a massive win streak : instead of pushing you out of an elo range that's too low for you, the game tries to forcefully make you stay because the matchmaking's goal is to maximize the time you spend in game. This make it that people with WIDELY different levels are the same elo, effectively destroying the "integrity" of ranked games.
This. I've ruined my mmr by playing with a bronze friend (that was before I knew what mmr is) and I didn't find anything wrong playing with bronze 3, even when I was silver 1. Then I learned what MMR is and why I started getting 12lp for a win and losing 19. Now imagine how many games I had to play to reach gold 1. And even then, my mmr was lagging behind, best I managed to do was 15/15Lp. So, instead of the game recongizing my winning streaks, top dmg, best KDA and pushing me up with MMR, the game gives me people who are on a 4-5 losing streak becuse: YoU CaN SoLo CarRy. It fucking sucks and it will probably be the reason why I quit. That and the fact I got two weeks suspension for calling an inting support "autistic". She inted my lane, mid, and got called "autistic" two times. I got two weeks ban, my entire team and two of enemy reported her, she is not banned. Gg riot.
yeah I started playing ranked more this season and so far I'm climbing in bronze, but it's so slow. I have a 70% winrate right now and I'm getting 24ish LP per win while one of my losses only took 11LP, even then it's extremely slow. My poor duo queue is in iron and he is getting less than 10LP a win in some games. it's going to take him forever just to climb out even if we play together and the people he's against are on average higher rank. Doesn't seem like he gets extra LP for winning or performing well in those matches.
@@copsarebastards Do not and I will repeat DO NOT play ranked with him. Every loss impacts your MMR really hard. Because the game expects you to win since you have high MMR. By doing so, you will make the same mistake I made, and I decked my mmr hard all the way to win 12 lp and lose 19. It took me 500 games to level my MMR to be 15-15.
Imagine your sole life purpose is to have 90% winrate on a champ, and even worse, on fu-ing Yi. And in the meantime you ruin the game experience for anyone who has the bad luck and matches with/against you.
This reminds me of the two accounts that got permabanned years ago where they would int with Tahm Kench and Anivia for multiple games and then one had a perfect 100% winrate on Master Yi

My assumption is that this dude is paying for a elo boost but keeps playing ranked on his account when the booster isn't so he ends up going nowhere in terms of ranks. I've seen it happen already

yo rav. you can find an incredible amount of these people in iron 4. especially in korea. there are tons of accounts who have 1300 games disco nunu or yuumi with 0,4% winrate and then 100% winrate on katarina, rengar, vayne, master yi, etc. ive ticketed a lot of these accounts but it just doesnt matter riot doesnt care. hes obviously griefing these games but no matter how obvious they make it wont get banned. i just saw a korean iron duo lose over 1500 soloq games playing tahm kench anivia and perma-blocking a teammate in their own fountain. maybe the most disgusting virgin losers ive ever seen in my life. i am a somewhat high elo master yi main and i really hate what these kind of people do for the reputation of the champion. including funnelers.
He was playing at 3000 ping on the Zilean. The late reactions, how he keeps stop moving al the time. Perfect plausible deniability. You can't blame a man for having a bad connection, and this is easily verifiable on Riot's side. On the other hand, it's impossible to prove he was inting, because he was 'trying" to play. There are plenty of appiclations that put stress on the connection, so this is a viable tactic to fake being bad.
It would take an afternoon to throw together a system that could auto-detect players like this. Once again it confirms that Riot doesn't care at all - I refuse to believe they're so extremely incompetent.
If you can come up with a system that can tell the difference between someone stalling or missing abilities intentionally vs just having a bad internet connection/ league client being buggy af. You’d be a millionaire
Looks like a soft int/different player. The game sense is way different when you compare the zilean and the yi, little wasted movement, constant objective uptime, mechanical sense to dodge pyke e with q, decent map awareness, understanding of when to commit and when not to. Then there is the Zilean game which just…. fails on nearly every level. Especially the laning part, he literally lets his laner just freefarm constantly with the constant gaps. There is no way in hell that isnt either intentional or a small child barely aware of how the game works playing.
I'm not sure if RIOT ever does anything based on videos like these but they really should. There are so many youtubers exposing players like these that really make the game unfun for others just to have their own fun.
Hello, I’m a former asshole who used to do something like this in Overwatch (main in that game’s Master tier, wintrading smurf in Silver). I’m fairly certain it’s the same guy. It’s extremely hard to not do the little mechanical things you learn by not having a life in a competitive game, so it’s much easier to just sit still in dumb situations and throw your abilities way off on purpose once you’re sure it won’t hit anybody. And even then, sometimes the habits you’ve picked up shine through, which is what the few moments of sentience the Zilean shows look like to me.
Had a game where we had a Xin Zhao who got mid and did the most hard trolling job of his life. First he leashed, stole the red buff and at that point, I thought it was an accident. Then he went bottom with morg and Cait, took first blood. Then when morg went to mid to take over, he goes back to mid. When morg tries to come back, he follows her. Any skirmish, he kill steals, and then farms the whole jungle, doesn't influence at all. When he gets caught out in a 1 v2 manages to kill both of them so he ain't awful, he just trolling. We managed to win with a Yi morg comp but man that game was wild
I'm with you on this one Rav, and please never throw games on purpose. You're too good for that. I actually had a lengthy discussion with a griefer after one of my games years ago. He explained in detail how he was testing to perfect his griefing style of taking last hits on enemy champions until he had a big bounty and then throwing. His hypothesis was that he could hoard the kill rewards and then intentionally do poorly to imbalance the teams to cause his team to lose. Trying to maximize his griefing while minimizing punishment for it. Interesting, but still a jerk.

They don't look for this , there is no actuall rule that say " you must have the same winrate on all champions" also there is no rule that says " you can't miss zilean q"
@Mao LeBron Yeah unfortunately a booster can easily just 1 v 9 they've already proven this several times, all he do is split push hard shove a lane, then when the enemy team starts trying to go to that lane he take them out in transition or just switch lanes shoving it in.
Im gonna add another theory, I dont support this but I'll just lay it out. He plays yi when his internet is ok and working well, if his internet is terrible, he just plays other champs. But I am with you that he just wants to stomp low elo for ego
This is 2 people, if it's one person that's some 5d chess with the objective rotations while also just being dumb in lane. There are clearly neurons going off, and they've seen their sibling doing some cracked out stuff. They probably just don't want to unlock all the champions their sibling already got on their account. That, or every time the bad sibling is worried about getting demoted to silver, Big Brother Yi steps up to the plate and saves his rank.
Riot isn't using ranked matchmaking to try and make evenly matched games, they use their matchmaking to maximize player engagement. Win/Loss isn't the end all accounts have "personality scores" that are used for matchmaking.
Rav I am of the belief that you should int whenever you detect a smurf on your team. Half the time someone declares they're a smurf in pre game chat they end up getting shit on terribly, but if you actually see what's clearly a smurf then I usually just stop playing
There's only one way to stop this. Rank the player based on champs. If you play your Gold-Champ you play in Gold Elo, if you play a champ where you perform like silver then you play silver game.

He needs a winrate as close to 100% as possible so he can convince his clientel that playing 10 games with him they will win 8, so they dont waste time. Or that he will push the account to gold in 1 or 2 nights or whatever his service is. He must show a high winrate on one champ. Now If his Yi winrate stays at 80% and higher and he would always get matched with better and better opponents and automaticly climb while playing yi, he would reach a point where his winrate would balance out at around 50%. But the system doesnt match ppl based on the champrating, it matches them by overall rating. With champrating, what he is doing would not be possible. He would be Platinum Yi or diamond Yi with 55% winrate, Iron Zilean with 5% winrate, and not Gold overall. Got it?
The morde ult is there, thats why yi didnt go in immediately, you can see the mist around the champs. The replay still shows the fight for others to see how it really went down. Also, the Yi is definitely soft inting. He is keeping his winrate at perfect 50%. Maybe he lets his brother play for this to happen, but the movement is way too weird even for bronzies.

to be fair i played some ranked last week and found someone who purposely threw all their placements then were nothing but 20-1 or 13-0 or 14-2 assassins in mid lane
As a 1st season player who’s in iron I’ve experienced this commonly. Very rarely are my games even it’s always we get super stomped or we get super carried it’s very annoying.
Ok so the morde flash r at 4:50 is because if you ult in melee range or immedietly after you e someone the opponent gets 50% more room in the ult, but if you ult out of melee range the unt center around you, giving the opponent much less escape space.

Riot would much rather ban people for saying bad words in the chat than someone who is legit being a menace to solo queue. This is the reason ranked isn't fun to climb anymore. If Riot doesn't care about their solo queue, then why should the players at this point? Apprecite you leaving the summoner names turned on for this one, because people like this Yi should be revealed to the player base for what they are
Also the amount of very clear 19% WR bots there are at around 9pm my time. It’s ridiculous the boys get to play hundreds of game without getting caught lol
So, the issue is that say we we could punish this player? What stops him from just getting a new account or share an account? Riot won't take the the needed steps to correcting these actions:which is in banning players by IP address instead of accounts. By linking the client with the IP Riot can then properly deny that player ever getting around the punishment or remove them from the game entirely. Papa Neace put up a pretty good video with ways to fix a lot of these problems: Riot will never do it though...
Smurfs are the #1 problem in the game, and Riot will never do anything about it because it would drive down their overall player numbers. The ironic this is it is causing the game to rot from the inside since no new players will ever slog through dozens of games of getting decimated by smurfs to start playing.
I've seen this similar pattern in a few ranks. Figured it's a bit of something, as why do they stop for no reason until enough time lapses or they start moving and following you if you move by them when they stop
I have seen a lot of accounts like this lately while climbing on my new account, they are boosters who keep their accounts hardstuck in a certain elo so they can meet the elo of their clients without having to play in giga smurf queue.
Bro stop complaining about master and just Get Gut, thats kinda unlucky because master is top1 JG in Elo under Gold, but for 6 years this champ was unplayable above gold, he deserved a rework and ppl just need to learn how to play against him because champ out of meta for 6 years is bigger problem than low elo players complaining about him.
Tbh people like that are the reason that most people don't even want to play multiplayer games anymore. It baffles me that there are people out there who literally have nothing better to do than ruin someone's game. Like not just soft inting to stay in an elo, but the people who make multiple accounts for the sole purpose of ruining as many games as possible. Like you have to be the biggest loser ever to go out and spend 5 bucks each on an account just to make everyone else miserable.
He’s really in it for the views. He doesn’t say it clearly but most the time when I watch his twitch it’s “oh man I wish I could stream on these places because I need money”. I’m sure there’s plenty of people who lower their ELO during the day and get on in the evening to smash noobs and look cool.

I once played a game as Vayne top (ik I'm disgusting but that's not the point here) and I ended up 3/15 because Olaf and Talon jg kept fucking me. I didn't intend to feed, I was just absolutly dog shit with this champion but it was never my intent to purposly lose this game. I learned from my mistakes and i won't play her anymore on ranked, but it would be unfair to get banned just because you didn't perform one game

i like this idea but it has the potential to turn into people just witch hunting players because they think they're smurfing or throwing games or whatever. like what if this yi player was actually just a one trick that is awful on other champs and ends up getting mass reported anyway? obviously thats not the case here but my point is that it can be hard to tell, especially in low elo. its possible that it just ends up leading to innocent players getting banned because people think they're purposely ruining games when they aren't. but i trust that rav will take these things into account if he decides to do this

I believe that the problem wasn't you inting or not, this is out of your control and clearly Riot should be way stricter on that. It's essentially matchfixing which is against their ToS especially when its obvious like that Yi
Had this happen to me with another NA player, ousant. When he gets top he's got an amazing wr. But unlucky for me he got mid, which meant he went Trundle/smite. He started by stealing red and blue and shadowing the Trynd jg to steal camps, roamed all game, stole canons and cs, oh, and used e to knock Cait out of her ult, deny Teemo his recall, and knock support turned mid Lux me back into enemy aoe. But because he ended the game with around 200 cs our reports were flat out ignored. Trynd even tilted and typed "yone, free kills" to the enemy and ran it down a few times. Looking at the account when he's top with Trynd or anyone their kda's are fantastic. But when they don't get mid? They throw a tantrum and sabotage their own team. Guess what Riot's done about our reports and the multiple games since then... yep, got it in one, absolutely nothing. And yes, I have the replay and a POV recording I started after champ select where they banned Teemo's pick (because top jealousy or something), everything was completely bannable and they should be banned, yet for some reason ousant is still playing while Riot's a-ok with our Bronze butts getting our LP stolen because of the 30/30/40 rule, or whatever other justification to keep the trolls spending money.
All we can do is report. Riot has made it clear they do not want vigilantes on the rift, even though they define typing "stop stealing cs" as being negative and argumentative. They want us all to just shut up and take it and be grateful we have the opportunity to earn LP without keeping their own playground clean for those of us in the right elo. Trolls, afks, support bots/AI running around meaning 25% of the time support main me gets accused of being a robot in champ select... LoL is the gift that keeps on gaslighting. 100% he is using a bot to keep his account in gold so he can smurf on Yi. The way he moves when playing other champions is exactly the same way bots move with their afks, missing abilities, pathing and auto attacks. If you watch more of the replays on other champs the more you see the patterns that only bots could follow so consistently.

Sure, you do some things like that worse when playing a champion that isn't your main, but not to that degree. As someone who plays a lot of AI games I can 100% say that Zilean is exactly how a lot of bots (usually for account leveling) play.

It's just like you said, Rav. That guy is "soft-inting" his games, to stay in his desired elo. Even if you switch champs you still keep your basic skills no matter what/who you play and from the clips you showed us it's apparent that he really doesn't give 2 cents about that match when playing as Zilean.
The issue is that it's impossible to ban such a behavior. It can't be detected by the system and if you consider it from a grand scale point of view, Riot doesn't have the manpower to individually scan through all accounts and look for oddities. So I wouldn't blame Riot for this, because they are hardly at fault here.
The only thing that would help is to update the system, by either giving the people some reward/insentive to play in the Elo they belong to or maybe some sort of detection that acknowledges players stats and distributes them to the right Elo (along the line of "oh you have 84% winrate? Try the next Elo because clearly you know how to play the game." Obviously this would need some closer observation and thinking).
well, how do they know that he has 84% winrate before he queues up? what if yi gets banned and he ends up on a 17% winrate champion? the system had to detect before hand that he should be playing against diamond players, but now his main champ got banned and he should have been queued against bronze players. it simply doesnt work.

Doesn't mean it's impossible to follow a route along those lines; just an example that the system doesn't need to evaluate his rank before he matches up but after. That the system is acknowledging the statistic after a certain amount of matches and win-ratio and is saying "Okay, you don't belong here, we rank you up."
It's not impossible, nothing ever seldom is. It's just that the details need to be worked out by someone within the system, not by me.
I can't play much, just like 1-2 games a day max, so I often rock a 70%+ winrate on champs, but I don't play enough that I think I should be higher ranked. Highest I ever had was like 80%+ winrate on Yorick.

The integrity of rank games isn't a thing.
I mean you get matched with people that are terrible when you're on a massive win streak : instead of pushing you out of an elo range that's too low for you, the game tries to forcefully make you stay because the matchmaking's goal is to maximize the time you spend in game. This make it that people with WIDELY different levels are the same elo, effectively destroying the "integrity" of ranked games.
It takes forever to climb even if you are insanely good. But it gets even longer when you got griefers like this.
This. I've ruined my mmr by playing with a bronze friend (that was before I knew what mmr is) and I didn't find anything wrong playing with bronze 3, even when I was silver 1. Then I learned what MMR is and why I started getting 12lp for a win and losing 19. Now imagine how many games I had to play to reach gold 1. And even then, my mmr was lagging behind, best I managed to do was 15/15Lp. So, instead of the game recongizing my winning streaks, top dmg, best KDA and pushing me up with MMR, the game gives me people who are on a 4-5 losing streak becuse: YoU CaN SoLo CarRy. It fucking sucks and it will probably be the reason why I quit. That and the fact I got two weeks suspension for calling an inting support "autistic". She inted my lane, mid, and got called "autistic" two times. I got two weeks ban, my entire team and two of enemy reported her, she is not banned. Gg riot.
yeah I started playing ranked more this season and so far I'm climbing in bronze, but it's so slow. I have a 70% winrate right now and I'm getting 24ish LP per win while one of my losses only took 11LP, even then it's extremely slow. My poor duo queue is in iron and he is getting less than 10LP a win in some games. it's going to take him forever just to climb out even if we play together and the people he's against are on average higher rank. Doesn't seem like he gets extra LP for winning or performing well in those matches.
@@copsarebastards Do not and I will repeat DO NOT play ranked with him. Every loss impacts your MMR really hard. Because the game expects you to win since you have high MMR. By doing so, you will make the same mistake I made, and I decked my mmr hard all the way to win 12 lp and lose 19. It took me 500 games to level my MMR to be 15-15.

yo rav. you can find an incredible amount of these people in iron 4. especially in korea. there are tons of accounts who have 1300 games disco nunu or yuumi with 0,4% winrate and then 100% winrate on katarina, rengar, vayne, master yi, etc. ive ticketed a lot of these accounts but it just doesnt matter riot doesnt care. hes obviously griefing these games but no matter how obvious they make it wont get banned. i just saw a korean iron duo lose over 1500 soloq games playing tahm kench anivia and perma-blocking a teammate in their own fountain. maybe the most disgusting virgin losers ive ever seen in my life. i am a somewhat high elo master yi main and i really hate what these kind of people do for the reputation of the champion. including funnelers.
He was playing at 3000 ping on the Zilean. The late reactions, how he keeps stop moving al the time. Perfect plausible deniability. You can't blame a man for having a bad connection, and this is easily verifiable on Riot's side. On the other hand, it's impossible to prove he was inting, because he was 'trying" to play. There are plenty of appiclations that put stress on the connection, so this is a viable tactic to fake being bad.
Though tbh Riot has a history of handing out bans for having a bad connection.
No, Yi isn't a problem. Good players playing in lower elos will win with any carry.

Looks like a soft int/different player. The game sense is way different when you compare the zilean and the yi, little wasted movement, constant objective uptime, mechanical sense to dodge pyke e with q, decent map awareness, understanding of when to commit and when not to. Then there is the Zilean game which just…. fails on nearly every level. Especially the laning part, he literally lets his laner just freefarm constantly with the constant gaps. There is no way in hell that isnt either intentional or a small child barely aware of how the game works playing.
This guy is legit. Master Yi skill revolves solely around how fast you can mash buttons.
I'm not sure if RIOT ever does anything based on videos like these but they really should. There are so many youtubers exposing players like these that really make the game unfun for others just to have their own fun.
Hello, I’m a former asshole who used to do something like this in Overwatch (main in that game’s Master tier, wintrading smurf in Silver). I’m fairly certain it’s the same guy. It’s extremely hard to not do the little mechanical things you learn by not having a life in a competitive game, so it’s much easier to just sit still in dumb situations and throw your abilities way off on purpose once you’re sure it won’t hit anybody.
And even then, sometimes the habits you’ve picked up shine through, which is what the few moments of sentience the Zilean shows look like to me.

Had a game where we had a Xin Zhao who got mid and did the most hard trolling job of his life.
First he leashed, stole the red buff and at that point, I thought it was an accident.
Then he went bottom with morg and Cait, took first blood. Then when morg went to mid to take over, he goes back to mid. When morg tries to come back, he follows her.
Any skirmish, he kill steals, and then farms the whole jungle, doesn't influence at all.
When he gets caught out in a 1 v2 manages to kill both of them so he ain't awful, he just trolling.
We managed to win with a Yi morg comp but man that game was wild

I actually had a lengthy discussion with a griefer after one of my games years ago. He explained in detail how he was testing to perfect his griefing style of taking last hits on enemy champions until he had a big bounty and then throwing. His hypothesis was that he could hoard the kill rewards and then intentionally do poorly to imbalance the teams to cause his team to lose. Trying to maximize his griefing while minimizing punishment for it.

This is 2 people, if it's one person that's some 5d chess with the objective rotations while also just being dumb in lane. Riot isn't using ranked matchmaking to try and make evenly matched games, they use their matchmaking to maximize player engagement. Win/Loss isn't the end all accounts have "personality scores" that are used for matchmaking.
Rav I am of the belief that you should int whenever you detect a smurf on your team. Half the time someone declares they're a smurf in pre game chat they end up getting shit on terribly, but if you actually see what's clearly a smurf then I usually just stop playing

There's only one way to stop this. Rank the player based on champs. If you play your Gold-Champ you play in Gold Elo, if you play a champ where you perform like silver then you play silver game.

@@thefance4708 Of course. Thats what im saying since the first post i posted. It doenst really matter that he is running a boost. He needs a winrate as close to 100% as possible so he can convince his clientel that playing 10 games with him they will win 8, so they dont waste time. Or that he will push the account to gold in 1 or 2 nights or whatever his service is. He must show a high winrate on one champ.
Now If his Yi winrate stays at 80% and higher and he would always get matched with better and better opponents and automaticly climb while playing yi, he would reach a point where his winrate would balance out at around 50%. But the system doesnt match ppl based on the champrating, it matches them by overall rating. With champrating, what he is doing would not be possible. He would be Platinum Yi or diamond Yi with 55% winrate, Iron Zilean with 5% winrate, and not Gold overall.

The morde ult is there, thats why yi didnt go in immediately, you can see the mist around the champs. The replay still shows the fight for others to see how it really went down. Also, the Yi is definitely soft inting. He is keeping his winrate at perfect 50%. Maybe he lets his brother play for this to happen, but the movement is way too weird even for bronzies.

to be fair i played some ranked last week and found someone who purposely threw all their placements then were nothing but 20-1 or 13-0 or 14-2 assassins in mid lane

Ok so the morde flash r at 4:50 is because if you ult in melee range or immedietly after you e someone the opponent gets 50% more room in the ult, but if you ult out of melee range the unt center around you, giving the opponent much less escape space.

So, the issue is that say we we could punish this player? What stops him from just getting a new account or share an account? Riot won't take the the needed steps to correcting these actions:which is in banning players by IP address instead of accounts. By linking the client with the IP Riot can then properly deny that player ever getting around the punishment or remove them from the game entirely.

Smurfs are the #1 problem in the game, and Riot will never do anything about it because it would drive down their overall player numbers. The ironic this is it is causing the game to rot from the inside since no new players will ever slog through dozens of games of getting decimated by smurfs to start playing.

I have seen a lot of accounts like this lately while climbing on my new account, they are boosters who keep their accounts hardstuck in a certain elo so they can meet the elo of their clients without having to play in giga smurf queue.

Tbh people like that are the reason that most people don't even want to play multiplayer games anymore. It baffles me that there are people out there who literally have nothing better to do than ruin someone's game. Like not just soft inting to stay in an elo, but the people who make multiple accounts for the sole purpose of ruining as many games as possible. Like you have to be the biggest loser ever to go out and spend 5 bucks each on an account just to make everyone else miserable.
