Another thing i have noticed. When eve came she was wearing white clothes and as the show went she moved toward more red shade clothes. Like how white is symbolised as god and red as devil.

Lucifer had pushed the agent the window and despite that tremendous demonstration of superhuman strength, she stepped in front of him. As Linda and God pointed out, Chloe had no power over Lucifer that he hadn't freely *GIVEN* her.

It seems that for the early part of Season 4, Chloe is trying to at least keep a foot in the doorway of Lucifer's life while she's struggling to answer that burning question that split them up in the first place: _"Could you accept me like this?"_ Ironically, it's not until he goes _"full Devil mode"_ that she realizes that she *CAN!* Of course, we've never seen Chloe kiss Lucifer's devil face like Eve did. What we see in Season 4 and 5 is Lucifer and Chloe becoming more comfortable around each other, and even daring to express anger and sadness. We did see that briefly after Charlotte's death when Chloe ran to Lucifer for a consoling hug.
No she answered that question in 4x5 when she jumped on him to save him. Her instinct was to protect him. I agree that she was trying to keep a foot in the door while she figured it out, but I dint think it was ever about being his partner. She never wanted that to end. What she was trying to figure out was could she love him still. She answered that when she thought she was sacrificing herself

After all, it is reminiscent of Chloe using her body to shield Maze in the Season 1 finale. Apart from _”acceptance”,_ she also felt guilty for getting Lucifer involved in the _”final case”_ that nearly got him *MORTALLY* wounded. Her self-sacrificial act was a fitting counterpart for Lucifer attempting to do that for her in that beloved 4x02 _”axe scene”._ Strictly on a professional level, all *Detective Decker* really *NEEDED* was Lucifer’s *CAR* to get into the MME event. Once that was completed, it was obvious that they *BOTH* wanted the case to last longer so they could have a _”non-romantic”_ excuse to spend time together. I really wish I knew what Chloe had planned to say to Lucifer when she finally went to Lux to speak with him at the end of 4x04, only to find him with Eve. Or earlier in 4x04 when Lucifer was leaving after that bar fight and she called out his name. He kept walking, but if he had stopped, I wonder what she would have said. She gave up at the end of 4x03 when Lucifer said _”Then I have my answer”_ and she left without another word. Undoubtedly it was partially pride and partially guilt, not to mention the show runners’ need to work Eve into the plot and propel the rest of Season 4, that she just left. I’m sure many _DeckerStar_ fans were hoping that she would *FIGHT* for their relationship and beg for his forgiveness and patience. In 4x01, when she met with Lucifer (before going to see Kinley), he offered to be patient with her acceptance, after all.

She didn't think she was good enough for him. Eve did what she couldn't, excepted Lucifer without question. That doesn't change what I said about her feelings. In fact it supports my theory. She doesn't think she's right for him because he deserves someone who excepts him and she didn't. That doesn't mean that she doesn't except him by episode 5. It just means that she hurt him and doesn't want to hurt him again. In fact the moment she sees Eve's influence further regressing him down the road her betrayal started, she set about supporting him and even admitted to being jealous. All of this was way before the full on Devil scene.

Hmmm..mine is 2,4,1,3,5. I really didn't like s5, so much so I would watch 10mins of each episode then skip to the last 15mins to get the gist and find out whodunit.
Chloe was not crying because he did the right thing, she was crying because her faith in him had been validated. I think it's fair to say that Lucifer's downward spiral in season 4 was mainly her fault. For 3 seasons he has feared her doing exactly what she did, leave and then be afraid of him. He also feared she would think him evil, she called him the personification of evil and tried to send him back to hell. She may have recovered quickly but the damage to Lucifer had been done. Lucifer always feared the reaction she gave and when it happened, he spiraled out of control of control. I think she got emotional every time he did something she never thought he would because she blamed herself. So when he started showing signs of the man she fell for, it confirmed that she had been right, he could change.
Age... And I suspect surgery too... There's a change in Lucifer too of you see his forehead... I love both of them so much, i sincerely hope that if they've gotten surgeries, they did it because they wanted to and not because they felt pressured into keeping a certain look...
It means they're getting older. And Covid effecting everybody. Being away from your family, not to hold and hug your loved ones, being aparted from everything you like and love. It is subconcious stress stratching out all over the world, no matter who you are. And it shows on your face. Even if you are an actor. They are humans too. Tom has three daughters. Not able to see and hug them IS a stress. So yes, you can see that on their a faces. I am sure there are some marks on everybody's faces.

Well deep down he never wanted it to be the last case, and neither did Chloe. But I think he made up his mind when Chloe jumped onto him during the LUX siege, when she thought the place was about to blow. She was willing to sacrifice herself to protect Lucifer, that is where he realized that Chloe did care about him.
Chloe must have been so disappointed at the end of that scene where Lucifer announced that he had broken up with Eve. She's starting to feel that she's made some headway in redeeming herself from her horrendous choices in the first two episodes. Lucifer saying _"That's what makes you so special"_ brought a brief smile to her face, only to hear him say _"I don't like the way that makes me feel."_ and him just walking away! She would come to learn that he lacked confidence in himself, especially his _"better man"_ persona. Also, she still hadn't given him a satisfactory answer to his crucial question _"Could you accept me like this."_ Eve could, but she considered his _"better man"_ side to be dishonest. Neither could embrace *ALL* that he was!
One thing I dont understand is that hospitals and EMTs must know that he isnt human, since he has had to be treated and they have his blood and everything. Absolutely not relevant to the plot, just a weird thing I've noticed
