When she's having an influence on him, Lucifer tends to act more angelically, he's is more accepting of what he is, and in general Lucifer is bettered by Chloe. In the final fight between Lucifer, Amenadiel, Maze, and Michael, it's subtle but I noticed Lucifer's fighting style has changed. He's not using his devilish style of redirecting enemies' strikes and deceptive/underhanded moves anymore. Lucifer instead fights like Amenadiel, like an angel. And even when Lucifer, Amenadiel, and Michael get out their wings, Lucifer doesn't show even a hint of his devil form, not even the red eyes
I love how Chloe went from "You are NOT my partner" to "My WONDERFUL partner speaks every language... could grant favors and obviously is VERY CHARMING"
I love when Lucifer realizes that Chloe was literally made for him he takes a step back and goes hands off until he knows that CHLOE is the one making the choice, and not his manipulative father or brother. That scene is so pure.

I really miss this series. Supernatural stuff aside, it was just a really nice love story that reminds us of how wonderful life can be when it really works between partners. When I feel sad or depressed about life or the state of the world, I go back and watch deckstar clips and it reminds me that there are beautiful sides to human beings in addition to our well known capabilities for mindless cruelty. Thanks very much, Tom and Lauren. You gave us something much more valuable than you are perhaps aware.
