Hello. Sounds harder than it actually is. Have a look at some of my other video and you can see my computer screen hopefully give you a better understanding. I use a Go Pro to record the video & record the audio within Protools with the original MP3 song and play along . Then I use Adobe Premier to line up / Sync up the video and audio. Then I unlink the unwanted audio from the original Go Pro video capture. And use the Protools audio within Adobe Premier. I am doing it this way because I am still trying to maintain my knowledge of multiple software packages. If I don't keep using my cross platform skills I will quickly loose them. I get the job done quite quickly now days. But always trying to improve my work flow. I am now working on re creating this song programming through MIDI revealing my true musicianship. Not hiding behind a backing track. My other cover song I have re done myself. So there I so much learning for me. I'm just trying to improve this is my trying project. Wishing you all the best.
