VoicePlay always heavily feature their guest artist.
With one single exception, and that is Hoist the Colours. That was because they had the intended guest artist cancel last minute due to covid interfering, and had to ask a different artist to jump in on short notice. The original artist was a high tenor, and this new artist wasn't, so Eli had to suddenly re-record his vocals to take the high tenor spot and take the lead, while the new artist took Eli's part instead. This new artist was totally fine with not being in the spotlight and just helping them out, and Eli fricking nailed that song!
So on that particular song the guest artist is just part of the group with barely a single solo line, while Eli is rocking his ass off. And it resulted in one of their best songs ever!

Huldra, I've seen this comment about the lineup for "Hoist the Colors" on other reaction videos. Is the intended guest artist one who's sung with them before? Apparently, it's a secret, so I'm not asking who; just wondered if he's part of the "family" of guest artists, and if he ever got another chance. (I agree, of course, about Eli's performance.)

You're right, they choose their guests so carefully for any particular song that people keep saying that one ought to be a member, no that one, no that one.... and so on. And yes, Geoff is unique.
J-None used to be a full time member, he joined the military and now does guest appearances when on leave.
Voiceplay NEVER disappoints, IMO. Even when they pick a song I don’t love to begin with, they bring it and I at least like their version.
I know with the last couple videos for voiceplay you have said that you like Cesar's voice a lot. Their song "I cant make you love me" has Cesar as the lead and it even features Omar's brother in it as well. I would definitely recommend that video for you.
This building was Eli's abandoned high school. It surprised me that Layne figured out how to swallow a helicopter. VoicePlay's post-apocalyptic trilogy is Warriors (Imagine Dragons) also where Layne gets one of his names - VioLayne, then Dream On is #2 and #3 is Seven Nation Army (White Stripes).
VoicePlay did a good job with “ Carry on my wayward son”.

Loved your reaction and love this performance. Any of the three could have hit "the note" and done it well. Cesar, who is (theoretically) their baritone, wanted it, and they gave it to him.

I tried to look to see if you’d reacted to other vids of theirs but didn’t see any. I wasn’t sure if your comment regarding what you’d seen in other reactions was in reference to things you’d done or what you had watched elsewhere. So please pardon me if I recommend a song you’ve already reacted to.
Since you are a gamer, may I recommend you check out “Dragonborn”, which is a mash up of “The Dragonborn Comes” from Skyrim and also the Skyrim main theme. And yes, they sing it in Dovah.
They have also done Imagine Dragon’s “Enemy” from League of Legends. and if you check out their shorts, you’ll find the theme to Halo.
I see lots of reactions you’ve done to BTS, so you also may be interested in VoicePlay’s cover of the BTS sing “Butter”.
Their two most recent are gold “Nothing Else Matters” and “In My Room”.
Older ones - which will have a different line up - that are well worth a visit are “Queen in Five Minutes”, “Tennessee Whiskey”, and “Boy Bands in Five Minutes”.

Thank you for another priceless reaction to Voice Play. I have watched this video dozens of times and every time at the end They sing, the past is gone I get all choked up. This Voice Play cover is better than Aerosmith's version. Voice Play hit the high note beautifully without screaming it like Stephen Tyler did.
