Calling it Sim City the Board Game is a very apt analogy. I played Sim City many years ago when it was still a very new game on the PC. Had a lot of fun with it and maybe this game could recreate that on the table. The market crash concept is a cool idea and definitely makes this feel contemporary and more timely than the old Sim City I remember. Lots of dice... yay! Gotta love lots of dice. Also, the blocky plastic buildings are cool. They might even look nice painted. Thanks for a another great overview, instruction and review.
Hi Car! You too playing Sim City, that's cool :) Yeah the part uncertainty for the crash is a reallyyyyy nice element to the game I think, something to look out for, to take advantage of even :) Haha yes lots of dice! A fun game for sure! Thank you for your visit!
This is a good game I think 3 players is probably best but 2 players is also ok. We have only played it two players so far It takes 1-2 games to get the timing down. There’s a little luck involved with the tenants that come out. That actually can really dictate what you might do round to round and it becomes cutthroat when the tenant you wanted gets taken due to turn order. All things that add to the game 👍
Good to know about 2 players! We were not too bad I think at higher player count, and also still gotta watch out opponents as they take their turn, usually taking the spot you wanna buy before you huehehehe. Yes for sure, and thank you for sharing that!
Saw Small Cities Deluxe on KS and felt it was very Sim City like with the way the management and development worked. Didn't back due to the price and it seemed a little too complex. Curious if you have played both and which feels better, this seems more like a real estate game and less about building a city?
@@MeepleUniversity Hey is that Stella? I think it's a super old game and my friend can't find it because it's so old. But this might be similar...... was hoping
@@adriang6259 hiii😁. Probably best to check first that it is. Don't wanna recommend the wrong thing. If it is, lemme know what country for, and I can ask them😁👍

Hi Gettin' Jiggly Wit It, oh we missed Small Cities Deluxe! Now I'm relying on you to find out about that one hahah.
@@MeepleUniversity we ended up not backing because it seemed too complex lol
@@GettinJiggly Ah right, thats fair :)
A double sided main board is what I would have preferred but it adds to the variability I guess
O yeah true
Sim City the board game?😁👍 I'll check it out!
Yassss! 😁 Thanks so much
Do you guys remember a game from antiquity called "Hotels"

@@MeepleUniversity How would I go about ordering this game if they agree that it's what they're after? Just Amazon. (Hi Stella)
