I thought, given my recent experience picking up another Moonswatch we could have another little chat about these crazy watches! Also a little bit of love for the Aussie Matilda's too!

Jess, I admit, Sam Kerr kicked the goal of the match the other night. However as a Sydney sider & someone who thinks watching sport is boring, I was supporting the UK to win. All I was thinking is, if Australia won & I had to pay my 73 staff for a free public holiday, our economy would even be more stuffed than it is. We currently have an inflation epidemic. When you fuel an economy with free money for not working, your fuelling inflation & intetest rates.
Haha yes we can have a whole discussion on the lunacy of floating a public holiday. Proof of a government who lacks real business acumen and experience and doesn’t understand the productivity levers or lack there of with driving inflation. Also, agree, that Sam Kerr goal

Hi I just don't get this craz as the quality of these watches is not very good . marketing master class but is this at the cost to the brand omega or have they just tapped into a new market with a low price point.? Thanks John.
I think they are tapping a new market to drive them to the more expensive price point later on.

You're right about the moonswatch - they created over a million brand ambassadors and it cost them next to nothing (I refuse to believe that watch costs more than $5 to make and sell).
I was less enthused to hear your muse is slightly de-mojoed though. It's the Rolex (honest - it's a well-known phenonemonemononon). Associating with that brand and its normal-person-hating culture has been scientifically proven to sap the life out of you. Allegedly.
Seriously tho - hope the muse returns soon. Best cure is: buy a new watch...

I love the MoonSwatch debacle but not too keen on the new ones (apart from original Moonshine Gold).
I am possibly the only person in the world that has not changed my mind on them since day one, and it’s been so entertaining watching all the Omega fanboys running around like headless chickens.
