So what I gather: Normal Exorcist Angels got messed up by Alastor. They could NOT break his shield. So i imagine they can die just as easily, compared to Adam who's lived longer than most and has experience/power, yea he beats Alastor. Then Adam gets topped by a Seraphim. Aka Lucifer. I like the power scaling, it makes sense at least. Angels only do so much against a overlord who has quite a bit power, but falls severely short compared to adam, and Adam to Lucifer.
Adam shares a surprising number of similarities with Alastor They were both humans before becoming the beings they are in the present. Both reached a position of power through massacres (Alastor murdering other Overlords and Adam with exterminations) Both had a dark past as humans (Alastor as a serial killer and Adam as a toxic man) Both are related to a possible solution to overpopulation (Alastor with the Hazbin Hotel and Adam with the exterminations) Neither of them really believe in solutions to the problems of infernal overpopulation, they only participate for their own entertainment Neither of them believes it is possible to rehabilitate a demon, maintaining that he only lives once and that is the opportunity to make things right. In addition to the fact that both delight in tormenting sinners Both enjoy killing demons They both have an adept with whom they seem to get along quite well (Alastor with Husk, and Adam with Lute) Adam could be said to be Alastor's counterpart in Heaven.
Alastor hints that his pact with his unknown contractor is limiting his true power. One could speculate that if Alastor was unbound from his deal he could have wiped the floor with Adam. Instead he had to fight smart with the limited power he possessed.

They are armed with Holy Weapons, a divine being’s kryptonite. Back then, Hell couldn’t fight back since demons can’t kill Angels until Carmella proved it possible. This is actually the first time Hell fought back and actually sent Heaven running

Now all of a sudden, a couple of sinners are able to take down tons of them with no effort. And think of it this way, winners and sinners are basically on the same ranking with winners being slightly higher since angelic power > demon power. If the exorcists are above winners in ranking like everyone’s been theorizing, then Angel dust and the others are basically killing Overlords. Even if they are not, the exorcists still should be more powerful than most sinners. Overall, I’m not too upset, just a little disappointed

By episode one its already been shown that Angel Exorcist was killed and defeated. So Exorcists were clearly never invincible or undefeated. The first episode of Hazbin Hotel made that completely clear. With Adam pointing out that an exorcist was killed by a Sinner. One even Superman can easily destroy planets in most of his incarnations often gets defeated by normal humans when they use kryptonite against him. So its not unbelievable that Sinners can kill Exorcists when they have the right weapons & what is essentially the kryptonite of Angels. Two While the Sinners were killing tons of exorcists as you put it. Its clear that many of the Sinners died as well. The Sinners arguably had even more casualties than the Exorcists did. So the Exorcists are still portrayed as being superior to regular Sinners. Three Fan Theories aren't exactly an accurate source of information. We have no reason to believe that Exorcists are anywhere near the power of Overlords. Yes we have seen Exorcists killing regular sinners. But we didn't see any Overlords killed. If anything its still an impressive feat that Exorcists killed so many Sinners while their kryptonite was being used against them. Four Quite Frankly if Overlords could be killed that easily. Then what's even the point of the title Overlord if they die just as easily as Sinners. It would make the Overlords look rather useless and weak. I'm glad that Alastor was able to overwhelm the exorcists because it shows that the title of Overlord actually means something.
