@Chico Cruz Thanks Chico. I looked it up after I wrote, and yes, the Impala kept the round ones through 1976. Caprice only had squares. I just remember as a little kid, it seemed like every big GM car that Fall had square headlights.
I agree with the person who made the comment about the low riders. I really dont want to see that either. I will try and find another video about impalas. I dont understand why you would show pics of low riders in a film about the history of Impala.

My favorite is the seventy five Impala my mom bought one used beautiful car!!!! Built like a Sherman tank!!! They don't make them like that anymore!!!
Is the leading picture wrong, it says '1976', but I thought GM Full-size cars adopted rectangular headlights in 1975.....right?
No only caprice 76 had the rectangular lamps.
