Thank you for this History Lesson. Very nice, have been a Ford guy my whole life, if I had known more History about the great one Mr. Chevrolet, would have been a Chevy guy. I Loved the look of those 1970s era Chevy trucks I think Chevy trucks still look the best on front end design.
Today more people have trucks than cars. They are not built tough anymore. Now they are built for comfort and how many people they can haul instead of how much weight they can tow/haul.
Trucks used to be harsh riding utility purpose vehicles but these days everyone wants their truck to ride like a Cadillac. In some ways trucks have gotten better over the years but the older trucks were alot more rugged and simplistic in design.
One of my greatest regrets was letting my '47 Chevy pickup go. It was completely original, although I did re-do the bed myself using the original planks as a template for the new oak. Great video! God Bless!
Very good quick review. Always liked the 73 to 87 and 88 to 98 best but most others were great too. Not a 60 to 66 fan and the 2019 and up looks like a cardboard box from the back. I have always been about GM but as far as the new ones Ford and RAM have better lines right now.
It's crazy how horsepower numbers have increased so much. A v8 with less than 200 hp, today v6's give over 300. Why didn't you include any of the newer chevy's?
Love your family, love your guns, and love your chevy trucks!!
Squarebody is life

Most company's stopped making real trucks in the mid 90s.

Yes the ponies may have increased but the horsepower has also changed. Back then the horsepower was more raw but now the horsepower is almost weaker
