I had a 1965 Cyclone, 289, 225 hp, burgundy with Camel interior. Loved it. My brother sold Mercurys at Frank Nero Mercury in Garfield Heights Ohio. Ya, I'm 80 years old.
Thank you for this video I was having a hard time remembering what they look like I could remember the car but couldn't remember what it looked like thank you... I want one now.
Well actually not sure about 1960 but 1961 they had many models the 2 door hardtop the 4 door sedan the s-22 the s-22 convertible the normal convertible the 2 door wagon and the 4 door wagon
In '93, I owned a '72 Mercury Comet (4 dr., "6", automatic tranny) NOTHING "significant", to a collector. I gave this to my girlfriend! DO I REGRET THAT! A GREAT OLD CAR, but NOT a "great" girlfriend!

The "Comet was the Ford Mercury" version of the Ford Maverick with minor cosmetic changes '
There was no Comet badging on any Mercury in 1970. The name was not used again until 1971.
