This show cannot be duplicated, the actors chemistry, the story lines, the raw emotions it brought to us viewers. It will always be the greatest police show in history
RIP Austin Majors...the scenes with Andy and Theo were my favorite of the series....you died too young...may you find the peace in the afterlife you couldn't here on earth...
The hardest episode I have ever watched was when Bobby Simone died in Hearts and Souls and I cried during the whole thing. I felt the raw emotion, so much so that I sobbed. I’m seeing this show after 30+ years later.
I just realized Mark-Paul Gosselaar had been in SAVED BY THE BELL. I used to watch that show when I was living in NYC and didn't realize he was in NYPD BLUE also. Thanks. I always had a crush on detective Connie McDowell.
No Other Show will Compare, Nypd Blue, From the Bobby simone Era to the John Clarke Era, This Show to me, Will Never Ever Be Imitated, Duplicated and Out Done. This show is It for me, and I am Fortunate to have the Opportunity to watch it on Hulu again and again, twice, sometimes three times on sunday, THE BEST SHOW EVER MADE , End of Sentence!
Thank you so much for uploading @january161992. I've been wanting to see this particular behind-the-scenes special for some years now. And at 40:00 with Theo/Austin Majors 😟I hope that once this strike is over and everything is resolved, perhaps we can get a special chronicling the 30th anniversary.
Season 1 was breathtaking to watch. Never seen anything like it on television. And u dont today. I was hopeful for the reboot of it. But it was not to be. Grateful to have every episode of this ground breaking series.
In many ways it's easy to think of Sipowicz as an Archie Bunker with a badge.... 22:14. It seems like they'd be great friends, those two. But after thinking about it, Archie would probably call Sippy a dumb Polack, just as he did his meat headed son- in- law. But they're the two greatest television characters of all time.
I just watched the whole series on Tubi, and watched the last episode last night. I didn't watch the show while it was on the air but lately I've come to appreciate older shows like this. NYPD Blue is probably one of my favorite shows of all time. Sipowicz's redemption story from season one all the way through season twelve was just heartwarming to see. Caruso was a good actor but it's too bad that he didn't have half the humility as his character. Jimmy Smits is Andy's best partner in my opinion as Simone. I hated Sorenson and his character was awful. I also hated how Fancy left although Esai Morales's character was great. Many great guest stars too. The one thing I hated was that the show didn't get a proper ending although at least we saw Sipowicz as Lieutenant so that kinda completed his redemption arc. The show had many memorable moments and believable characters that were just interesting to watch.
Homicide life on the street was a better show..loved NYPD Blue...never missed it...but 2 things always bothered me... everybody in the squad was hooking up with everyone else...in a city of 8 million people cant they get nookie outside the squad ..and letting Andy beat the shit out of suspects for a confession...come on now..
I did not like Andy Jr died! I cried soooo much! And Simones death! I cried there to! I,m a cry baby! But i love this series so much i have all the dvds!
would love to have sipowicz as my next door neighbor. today's woke crowd could never appreciate what LE deals with on the job in their behalf. instead these idiots want to defund the police. we have gone soft in this country . i grieve for what we have lost . no guts, no balls, no character. andy is my hero. semper fi
Thing is nypd blue was great show caruso had a great ego ...nypd blue didn't need it or the flashy Schmidts ....Sipowitz carried that show ...they changed lead characters ... didn't matter Andys character was the heart if he would have left i woulda stopped watching

Every five minutes...some new thing is declared "the greatest in history."
No show will EVER replace it along with its actors

Hands down the greatest show ever. I’ve seen every episode probably 5 times
The hardest episode I have ever watched was when Bobby Simone died in Hearts and Souls and I cried during the whole thing. I felt the raw emotion, so much so that I sobbed. I’m seeing this show after 30+ years later.
Great police series. Best ever. Death in the family and closing time are 2 hours of the most gripping tv ever
Best **US** cop series evr.
Love all your videos, July 7,2023, Today is Day 7 drink free 👍🙏This show and you are an inspiration
I don't know you but I'm proud of you. I see the struggle all around me. Remember one day at a time. Don't think about tomorrow. Focus on today.
🎉
grats on 7, keep coming back!
@@justanotherdrunk next March it will be 30 years for me and I don't even crave it at all, I am diabetic so that is a big incentive not to drink

Best show ever, best writing and cast!! Cannot compare! RIP Austin Majors....
I AM the religious right. NYPD Blue is my all time favorite show. Denis Franz is as good as they get. A great great show.
I just realized Mark-Paul Gosselaar had been in SAVED BY THE BELL.
I used to watch that show when I was living in NYC and didn't realize he was in NYPD BLUE also. Thanks.
I always had a crush on detective
Connie McDowell.
No NYPD Blue there is no Chicago PD.
I’ve never seen this. Thank you! They can try all they want, but there will never, ever be another show about law enforcement like NYPD Blue
Dennis is a badass entertainer! The best I ever seen!🔥🔥🔥🔥👑👑
A young Joe Mantegna....
The best television series ever - and although Jimmy Smits was my favourite, I think Rick Schroeder was surprisingly good as his replacement
Just binged watched all the seasons and enjoyed and sorry it’s over.
That was great! I miss the show and the characters so much!
Never seen this documentary. thanks for the upload. This was my favorite cop show of all time.

SPEAK!!!!
The Shield and Banshee are tons of better than NYPD Blue.
Loved every episode.
Recognized Joe Mantegna’s voice right off the bat. This would have been a few years before he started on CM.
THE BEST SHOW EVER STILL MY FAVORITE OF ALL TIME N.Y.P.D.BLUE PERIOD!!!!!!!☝️💯✌️

The word 'reboot ' should be
deleted from our collective

@@billmurray7473 The country has gotten too politically correct over this mess on TV.

Amazing show
Was glad to see caruso go
One of the best intelevision history
The narrator of nypd blue decade on the job should be vincent d'onofrio from law and order criminal intent

Definitely in my top 5 shows of all time. David caruso was.great on this shoe. Should of never left.
The show was much better without him. Sipowicz became the true star and Jimmy Smits was much better than Caruso anyway
Andy Sipowicz sounds a lot like real-life Brooklyn Detective Bill Clark. And it seems that Detective Clark's personality rubbed off on Andy too.

And the host is Pippi De Lena from The Last Don ( 97 )
Didnt like it that all other detectives were incompetent except the 15th squad.

Well I for one, certainly remember that Sharon Lawrence was naked in the shower scene!
I don't use how sipoeicz gets all the women . Is that realistic.
