It's crazy when you listen to a song from back in the day and you almost feel like you're transported back to the past. It's like you're listening to memories. The power of music is incredible.
+joker56 I totally agree
+joker56 *Recorded music that is. :)
+joker56 That's what I always think when I listen to an old song.
I love to hear old songs to remember past things
That message was powerful xD
Timeless Emotional Masterpiece
The goosebumps you get from hearing an old banger...
Right?
I miss this song
It's that ass clap that really gives you the tingles
Even 13 years later, this song is what attracted me to deadmau5 and what has gotten me thru so much. Such a banger of a tune.🔥🔥
What attracted me was I REMEMBER featuring KASKADE but it was more DEADMAU5 than him
Same my friend, it has been like yesterday, one of his gems before Joel got famous
2024 brah
Same
Same! 😊
this is still one of deadmau5's best songs ever
No doubt
Hell yeah
Definitely

Of course tomorrow will be better. Tomorrow's Friday.
You have a choice every day
Cristian Mancillas
Indeed. Well put, Cristian.
And I choose I do a big hit of crack as I listen to this song- and it’s fantastic.....for 8 minutes.
how about today Carlos? I bet this year much worst than last year
Such a perfect track. So simple yet so powerful. Those subtle little changes in the chord progression are everything.
Remember: this album came out 14 years ago! And it still frigging bangs the house and makes you feel good. Yeah, the good old times... 😎👍
now 16 years and nothings changed
One of the best electronic albums
👍👍👍
I had absolutely no idea that this song was from 2008. It's 2021 now and I just heard this song in a fucking sushi restaurant. This music is truly timeless.

My mum has always been a fan of deadmau5, I'm now 16 and grew up on their music; still fucking amazing. Wish I knew kids my age who liked this type of music.
Do you need a ladder?
Your mum likes deadmau5?!?!?
Good taste . Deadmau5 king of EDM in my opinion.

@@DoctorSex.5 shit. 10 years down the line I’m gonna be tellin my kids about deadmau5.
This song changed my life in so many ways. I had just graduated college in central Florida and begun the life of my dreams of world travel. I set off for an innocent first world travels trip to key west. Only thing was, about ten people I invited, bailed out on me til last minute. I put the car in drive, put the cd in I had made the night before and this was one of the songs I had on repeat as I just unknowingly realized , this is how it’s going to be from now on. Having endless beautiful solo adventures across the globe. I’ve now been across Europe, the Caribbean, New Zealand, the South Pacific, and now live in Hawai’i with the endless horizon of adventure ahead.
At the time I was fighting my way out of deep depression, and the upward progression of this song always felt to me a reflection of me fighting my way out of that depression.
It’s been 11 years since then and just recently coming back to this song. Each time at the high of musical progression brings me to tears, as It quickly teleports me back to a hard time while recognizing how much I’ve accomplished and improved since then.
As someone said below, the power of music is incredible and this song is truly up there on my list of impactful songs! 💙
Aloha and I wish everyone a beautiful life of their dreams! 💙
I love stories on a nostalgic track
Thanks for sharing something real. We know when we listen to this track what’s really valuable in this life. It needs no words. It just feels. And this track takes you there.

this was the first deadmau5 song i ever listened to. me and my dad were driving home from school and this song came on. i was hooked in the first minute and when we got home i immediately went to my room and listened to this song on repeat. after that, i listened to more deadmau songs and became obsessed, all thanks to this song. it's been 3 years since i last listened to this song, and let me say, it's still awesome.
Which is your favourite song of deadmau5 now?
@@elektr0000 i still really love this song, but i also love some chords, strobe, raise your weapon, sometimes things get, whatever, and professional griefers.
My first Deadmau5 song was "Ghosts N Stuff" thinking it was a metal tune. When I started playing it, I was DEEEAAAD wrong. But, I love his songs none the less.
I'll never forget hearing this at 2009 Stereosonic. I was only 18 and it was one of my first times on mdma. Huge line array sound system on the main stage, and the power in that breakdown at 3:00 was just insane. Great memories.
Herzlichen Glückwunsch. Ich hoffe du bist weg von dem Dreckszeug
I can't tell if the song has the quality of "grandeur" or "multiplicity" or even "sadness," but whatever it is, it works like a mirror to whoever is listening to it. It reflects your emotions back to you. And that is a good quality indeed.
I get it. When I listen to this, it's like the feeling of finally making progress after years of struggling. Feels tense, uneasy. But you just can't help but be excited.
It dont matter how many bangers are created, this will always be one of my favourite sunset bangers
The first DEADMAU5 song I'd ever heard... I never get tired of hearing it
nobody gives me goosebumps the way deadmau5 does. I saw him a couple weeks ago at red rocks and it was the best experience of my life. He played all my fav songs including this one and I just get the happiest flashbacks when I listen to him now. So special 💞🌈
This song cannot be put into words for me. When I has 15 and figuring out life I had this song. When I was flying above Azeroth I had this song. Whenever I felt alone I had this song. Underneath a lit lamppost in the snow, this song. It's pure nostalgia and feeling for me
Can relate to the Azeroth flying comment used to do the same
bro i love you for this.
when i first heard this in 09 all i listened to was metal but i was so blown away there weren't even words for it. Changed my entire perspective on music
That's Deadmau5 for you ;)
I'm still a full blown metalhead. But I still love deadmau5.

This was literally the first song to get me into a lifelong EDM obsession when I heard it at 18 and saw him play at voodoo fest in 2010. My god how time flies. So underrated but still my fav song by him

What has deadmau5 or this song to do with dubstep?
Nothing. Learn how to read and comprehend.
Chris Tran Being "naive" has nothing to do with 'not understanding a concept'. I think that's what Erik's point is.

+MrTacticalinuit Producers use what's called FL Studio. It is a hard program to use for the first time, but once you get to know it it is actually very fun to use. I have it on my laptop and I am making lots of remixes and other original songs with it
not all producers use fl studio. For example, Joel actually uses Abelton :) In my opinion, fl studio is like a toy. Then there's other producers like Swedish house mafia, that use Logic Pro X. So, not every edm producer uses FL studio. But, the ones that do use it are Tiesto, Avicii, Martin Gariix, and etc. That's all I know for now, but yeah xD
There's NOTHING that u can do on ableton, logic, reaper etc. and u can't do on FL Studio so comparing FL to toy is a little bit misleading.
No he was using a double negative to state you can do anything on FL that you can do on other DAWS.
FL and Ableton are both powerful DAW's with huge names behind them. FL is the only one who can keep up with the likes of Savant (that autistic guy who can make like 5 good sounding tracks in a day on a whim lol). Ableton does a couple things a little better, mostly automation and side chaining. Hardware linking probably easiest on Ableton. They both sound the same because DAW's don't change the output, that's up to other software (or old school hardware) and tuning from the Engineer.
So it just depends on workflow in the end.
Do you like to race your ideas to the computer and draw them fast to get going on FL or sit around constructing from ground up and build as you go on Ableton. Both workflows are acceptable can be done in either program but each DAW has their own style. Dadumau5 used to use FL aswell, probably made all his old progressive hits on it.
"DeadMau5 (Joel Zimmerman): "It’s ease of use and fast results are what get the ideas down as fast as they come to my head, and that’s really important for me"
Ableton is native to both PC & Mac, making it the industry standard, not really "more professional".
Music like this can be played almost 8 years later and still feel emotional like you hear for the first time. Brilliantly made, great for it's time and great now. Good music is simple but memorable.
