Home safe. I’m sure it will be an adjustment for sure. So bittersweet for all of us that have enjoyed “Good morning” from Molly everyday for the last 6 months. 🥲❤️
Thanks for letting us follow you home. Bandit took a second but I'm sure Bandit & your husband are soaking up having you home. You should be very proud of yourself. Glad you're home safe. A great adventure ends & more await.
Thanks for the update. Ziggy is in my thoughts too. Hilarious. After 2197.4 miles plus, you use a people mover to get around. A nice gift. Walking on carpet at the airport is a treat too. Thank you for sharing your journey. You have been welcoming and delightful. Much appreciated. Wishing you mighty fine hiking during your life’s journey. Happy Trails!
Congratulations Molly, it has been fabulous watching your wonderful journey. “Behind you all your memories,Before you all your dreams, Around you all who love you, Within you all you need “ Good luck until the next dream takes over ❤️
I recognized PDX as you ere walking up ramp to the main concourse. It is a nice airport for sure. Glad you made it home to your hubby, the dog and the chickies. I hope you don't have to go back to work right away, but I know it will be soon. Happy Birthday, youngster
We have enjoyed your journey daily and yes there is an adjustment after any great achievement. Take time to enjoy dont rush, and you will discover the wonder in everyday life as well❤
Glad to see you got home okay. I am sure the transition back to real life will be quick once you head back to work. Stay safe and thanks for the adventure.
So glad you are home safe and sound! 😊 Love your doggie he was so happy to see you! ❤ Your chickens are so cool! Rest & Relax! Good luck and take care 😊
You mentioned 'cowboy camping' in a recent video - we did that in your neck of the woods, on the Rogue River, not far from Zane Grey's old place. You might want to head over to northeastern Oregon to the Wallowa Valley. Just west of the valley is the Eagle Cap Wilderness - gorgeous area and good for backpacking/hiking/camping. And the pooch? You'll never get a better welcoming than you got from him. Bet Darren's glad to see you home, as well. There's always the 'withdrawal' part of it, too - I remember finding it unusual to walk up and down regularly placed steps, after the rocks, streams and roots for days on end. Welcome back to your 'real world.' Now try to figure out what 'normal' really is. "May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing views. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds."(Edward Abbey). Be well, stay safe. 🥾
Glad you made it home! It must be surreal! I’m sure Bandit and Darren were very happy to see you and you them! If you can give us an update on Ziggy. Relax, rest and adjust!
It’s been a pleasure watching your adventure. Huge congratulations!! Thank you for posting a follow up after the trail. I’m very interested in the emotions and psyche involved with going from society to trail and back to society.
Please do some hiking and filming in Oregon where you live! Its beautiful there and we’d love to see more of you and your hikes!! Thanks for sharing this one and best wishes to you! 🥾🥾⛺️🍁🍂❤️
So glad you posted an update! I enjoyed watching the reunion bt you and Bandit and no surprise that healthy you has chickens! Looking forward to more updates, especially birthday ones…isn’t this a zero one?!?!
Glad you made it home safely; looking forward to a wrap up video of your adventure now that you completed it and have had a chance to absorb your amazing journey.
What a greeting from your pup!!!! Hubby will need to wait! Welcome home!!! ❤️ I hope you have an easy recovery and enjoy. Hoping for another adventure someday!!!! Thank you!!!!
So happy you made it home safely Molly❤ Trail Angel Mike is the absolute kindest trail Angel ever😇 “If only they had these on trail” lol 😂 What do you think about doing a Q and A ?
Thank you for the update. Love seeing Bandit. The dog reunions get me more than people reunions. 🥲 Hope we hear from you again and I would love to hear about Ziggy too. 😉
Congratulations on your completion of the AT. What a Journey! I have followed you journey and am so impressed with how you Vlogged your experience! I am 65 and getting ready to retire next year and dreaming of thru hiking the AT myself! I am thinking about videoing the journey myself and have several questions for you on the equipment used, software, editing, etc. I really like the way you showed each days journey with the tracking app. Anyway, I would appreciate if you could share some of your methods and advice. Congratulations again, Tim
Thanks for the update and trip "home". Your puppy was so happy to see you! Hope you will post some of your PNW hikes. I miss the end of vid trail hike "map". Take care and many blessings to you.🙂🙏
Happy you are home safely. It was an amazing journey for us (and we were watching it on RUclips)!!!!!! I'm sure it was a life-changing experience for you. Well done, kid! We will miss those posts.
Welcome home, Molly. I assume your husband showed his excitement about your return in a different (but no less endearing) way than how Bandit did.😉Did you really fly from Portland to Portland? If so, that's a mighty fine way for MoJo to return home. I hope you're getting the chance to rest and rejuvenate before you go back to work (I don't remember if you ever mentioned what kind of work you do). As others have commented, I am also looking forward to seeing your post-hike videos and hearing your thoughts and reflections (and how you're readjusting to "normal" life). I can't thank you enough for sharing your hike and your joy with us through your vlog (which we know consumes a lot of additional time and energy on top of the exertion it takes to do a thru-hike). Congratulations, again on completing your Appalachian Trail Thru-Hike as a member of the Class of 2024!
good to see you here again, I kind of thought it would be weeks maybe months...do you think you'll ever do the AT again? Thanks again for taking us along with you on the AT
Congratulations on your thru hike !! Appalachian Outward Bound & Appalachian Adventure Guides. Most watch your thru hike. And enjoyed it immensely. We didn't comment, for 2 reasons.1 We are on Trail 7 months out the year.2 ; You probably get enough advice from so many who want to be experts. You're a Strong Hiker. We were all waiting for you to bust out 25 miles plus days. Most of us are Triple Crown Hikers Do you have any thoughts on that? The C.D.T.and P.C.T.are longer in miles than But A. T. is the hardest. Due the ups and downs all day . We look forward to see you go for the Triple Crown. You need to use Patron to help fund your next Adventure. Thanks for Sharing 9 Lives 🐾 owner & Guide. Let us know if we can be of any help in the future.
Aww, Bandit definitely missed you! Take all the time you need Mojo during your post trail transition. I suck at transitions. 😂 Did you get the lobstah roll in Portland? Take care ✌️
I'm so glad you made it home safely. I'm sure it's a shock to the system to try to settle back into normal life. I finally found out that "Bibo" is NOT "Bevo" as I thought all along (after the University of Texas mascot). I hope you will let us know about Ziggy.
Now for the Post Hike emotional let down. Offering any Gear Advice? Product Endorsements? Maybe a NOLS Gig. Motivational Speaking Gigs? Write a Book? Me? Tour De Mont Blanc, Walkers Haute Route - Chamonix to Zermat. Or...... TheVia Alina. And then there are - the Dolimites. Ahh, the Dolimites. Pacific Crest Trail. Continental Divide Trail.
Bandit looks like a Golden Doddle, is he? We got one just over a year ago. High energy and loving but my hat is off to your husband for the extra “farm work “ taking care of the dog, chickens, house, and …. ? I teasingly suggested he was very lucky man to have such a cheerful mate as you but he clearly has some qualities to endear himself to you. I hope you each feel like you got the better “deal” out of the marriage … at least 90% of the time 😉. Thanks for sharing your adventure, a piece of your life, and your delightful personality. Happy birthday, MOJO.
Yes! Bandit is a Golden Doodle! He turned three this year and still has so much energy. I don’t mind tho because he loves to go on runs and hikes with me 😃
Glad you made it home safe. Thanks for letting us come along with you. I'll miss your videos. Hopefully I'm going to do the trail in 2 years I'll be near 70 how I can make it the whole way. I have one question did you do all your editing on your phone?
Glad you are back home safe and sound. I hope your adjustment period is not too bad. After awhile it would be nice to do a video on the good, bad, and ugly of walking the AT. And maybe talk about if you have any interest in doing another thru hike. A triple crown in the future?
That's cool I figured you'd have to go to Boston to get a flight. Didn't even realize Portland had an airport. Doesn't seem like there would be enough people to warrant it
I might just have to start watching your whole hike from the beginning again - just like re-reading a good book! And won't this birthday be the big 3 - 0??
I youtube watched you summit and then I took off on a roadtrip. Now I gotta catch up. Glad to see your happy face. ♡
Home safe. I’m sure it will be an adjustment for sure. So bittersweet for all of us that have enjoyed “Good morning” from Molly everyday for the last 6 months. 🥲❤️

Good looking chickens😏
Aww, Bandit definitely missed you! Take all the time you need Mojo during your post trail transition. I suck at transitions. 😂 Did you get the lobstah roll in Portland? Take care ✌️
Last trail magic was a 🦞 roll. Pretty sure she liked it. 😉
It was so good! 🤤
Yummy! 😋

proud of you, Mojo 🤙

Glad to see you home safe and sound. Any plans for a post trail gear review? Thanks for sharing your experiences!🙂🙏
Yes! It’s on my list of videos to make :)
Always wondered what it was like after Katahdin, thanks for sharing 👍
Glad you made it home safe. Thanks for letting us come along with you. I'll miss your videos. Hopefully I'm going to do the trail in 2 years I'll be near 70 how I can make it the whole way. I have one question did you do all your editing on your phone?
That’s so exciting! Yes, I did all of the editing on my phone with the exception of my Katahdin video. I did that one on my computer since I was home.
What kind of phone did you use on the trail?
Great job mojo🎉
Great job it's over, good video, with some good views, good to be back home, so let's keep on hiking 😊
Glad you are back home safe and sound. I hope your adjustment period is not too bad. After awhile it would be nice to do a video on the good, bad, and ugly of walking the AT. And maybe talk about if you have any interest in doing another thru hike. A triple crown in the future?
You never know😏
Hey can you do a video of the gear you ended with? Your favorite gear? Thanks!
That’s on my to do list!
That's cool I figured you'd have to go to Boston to get a flight. Didn't even realize Portland had an airport. Doesn't seem like there would be enough people to warrant it
Maybe you make videos of hiking in mountains in Oregon on weekends. Oregon is very beautiful and scenic state.
Seems like yesterday when you started. Congratulations!!! 🍻
I might just have to start watching your whole hike from the beginning again - just like re-reading a good book! And won't this birthday be the big 3 - 0??
You back to those 4am cold plunges yet?
Would send picture of my Day check off log of Your Adventure but do not know how.
My God! How do you go from this to Portland?
I just wanted to ask if you had originally started the AT planning to do it solo, or did you start with a hiking partner?
I planned on doing it solo from the beginning!
So what’s next?!? “PCT”
🛫🛬👩🏻🏰
Kinda weird that she was more excited to see her dog than her husband
