I always think this is such a bizarre variation. She made it interesting and fun to watch. The way she was winging her foot in those hops...super strong and delicate at the same time. Exactly what ballet is all about. ❤️
I think that dancers with defined arms just truly shows how strong they are mentally and physically. But! You don't have to have strong arms to be graceful. All you need is some music and a happy attitude to show a beautiful piece of art through dance.
This was absolutely breathtaking. You can actually See the Power in her legs and body. As she does her piqué turns and jetés the control she has to keep from leaping into the stratosphere....and let us not even start on technique! Absolutely Brilliant!
Mango Мango considering I danced for a number of years, know quite a bit. The woman was flawless ...OBVIOUSLY...since she also won her division. You know? If you stopped looking at the color of her skin and watched the quality of her dancing you might just see something beautiful. Did you see the piqué turns, the perfect jetés then the grande jeté? How about the beautiful arabesque and attitùdes yes, no? What exactly DO you know about ballet? I suggest you get your head out of your derrière and learn about it before you start writing critiques. She won because her sheer power, elegance and technique are superb. Your thoughts and ideas are antiquated, sick and bigoted.
@@silky0439 Dear opponent, your considering has no sense, as you ignore(which you do) the base of ballet. The ballet isn't sport, but the aesthetic art,and so the only rule works for it: either all or nothing. That is why a ballerina has to be an ideal of body shape, to have special proportion of the body, with no scaliosis, no hyperlordosis, etc, etc, same for the technic.. the short calf muscles legs are not only an ugly flaw but also the absolutely "taboo" in the ballet, which this ballerina has with other things, you refuse to see. This girl wouldn't pass any casting in the professional ballet school in Russia. She could be in ballet class for amators, learning all professional technic, but would never get to the professional scene. The professional classic ballet standards are very restrict. If you ignore them, then don't call it "ballet" we could discuss with you about this girl and her performance a lot, but I really have no idea how to do that with smbdy, who watch the same and can see the same thing I do but says opposites of what is really obviously. It is like if you look at bunch of shit, but smbdy says it is bunch of flowers

The first 10 seconds literally took my breath away - wowww SHE IS SO STRONG AND GRACEFUL it’s mesmerizing. She is a blessing to the ballet scene and to the entire world.
I don't see just dancing, I see someone who's encompassing a role. There's so many young girls who do this variation with the desire to feel like a princess, but Precious looks like she actually is one. All that grace is natural. Nice job!
The strength and perfection of every step is so beautiful, yet she moves so gracefully! It’s very rare for a dancer with perfect technique and grave who still can really engage an audience with a generally more boring variation!
Needs to be dancing on all the stages ASAP and she looks so happy! I have a hard time registering that this is pretty damn hard because she makes it look so easy and natural...
Sometimes I wish I'm a ballerina only because I want to use brown pointe shoes (my skin is brown I inherited it from my aboriginal ancestors and I love it) I really love dark pointe shoes 😍
The amount of people in comments calling her masculine and saying she isn’t fit for this are disgusting. She is a beautiful, ethereal dancer! I could never hope to reach the level she’s at
OMG! So wonderful! To the viewers: thank you for not "dissing" this young women. Michaela DePrince and Misty Copeland along with others have lead the way to this happening! Fantastic!
Very occasionally, there are dancers here who's name you really gotta remember because you know right off that they are going to be super successful and even more talented than they are then. Their form and presence is so developed and their technical stuff is so down-pat that you think you're watching some seasoned principal dancing a variation they've done the whole part in for years. Miss Precious Adams is definitely one of them! I wish her the very best and hope to see her crushing the solos in a nice prestigious company very soon!
OK, late to the game...but WOW. She is amazing and really, really beautiful! Her interpretation of the music was just spot on - there was a section where the feet were the strings and the arms the winds....just fantastic. Thank you so much for posting!
Also just a bit of information on feet! All dancers don't use one toe or all 5 toes; I tend to dance on MOSTLY the first 4 toes on my left foot and my first 3 toes on my right! Thank goodness for custom made pointe shoes and knowledge from all the ballet masters who I have danced with and had the privilege of being a student (and pro ballerina! ) for all these years!
How can you be so flawless??? I mean technically perfect in every move, impressive interpreration, and her posture, how she moves her arms... It is almost like an optical illusion

This was absolutely breathtaking. You can actually See the Power in her legs and body. As she does her piqué turns and jetés the control she has to keep from leaping into the stratosphere....and let us not even start on technique! Absolutely Brilliant!
OMG, seriously? You might do know nothing about the real ballet and so you called this parody, as a real balerine
@@mangoango787 That's a view on ballet parody or not people should be able to enjoy it without being told that they don't "fit" critique is fine but don't push your views onto others
she literally takes the whole stage and just focuses it on her in a way i dont think ive.. ever quite seen before in ballet
Precious' grace and stage presence is undeniable
she looks so stunning and is so clearly an amazing dancer. i can’t take my eyes off of her, she truly owns the stage and delivers everything so well.
The hours and hours of practice to get the the preciseness of even the tiniest move! just impressive!
This footage will go down in history for so many important reasons.
Every time I see someone really good like this I always look at the age and go ‘OK OK I STILL HAVE x amount OF YEARS TO BE LIKE HER!’
anyone else?
Absolutely beautiful and mesmerizing !!!!
Color on stage finally !!!! Dreams do come true for us too. God is good to all !!!! She is so happy dancing and not a boring moment👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
魅力的すぎる。
衣装もすごくお肌に合ってるし、美しい!
腕の使い方がやわらかい、、!!足綺麗羨ましい😭🙏🏻✨
Precious is so strong in her legs! I can really feel her grace and character in this dance. Good job to her! 🙌🏽
The first 10 seconds literally took my breath away - wowww SHE IS SO STRONG AND GRACEFUL it’s mesmerizing. She is a blessing to the ballet scene and to the entire world.
She is so beautiful. Natural grace, musical, pretty girl, great body. I hope she gets promoted to soloist at ENB. She has so much to offer.
She is wonderful💓💓💓
彼女は本当に美しいですね!
これからもパワフルなダンサーさんが増えてくれることを願います!
Gorgeous, she's so strong! I hope does well it the ballet world. She's got something you definitely cannot teach
Feet look like a cartoon
I don’t know anything about ballet but the way she dances is mesmerizing 😍
She is such an amazing dancer! She has so much talent! She was meant to dance! She has great musicality too! Her dancing just goes with the music😍
Omg her acting is amazing, her eyes are amazing, everything is just so gorgeous
I don't see just dancing, I see someone who's encompassing a role. There's so many young girls who do this variation with the desire to feel like a princess, but Precious looks like she actually is one. All that grace is natural. Nice job!
she makes it look effortless! and she’s so fluid when she dances!
Anderson Sefcik yea and it’s probably sooo difficult!! I can’t even imagine how much effort it took to become this amazing
Her dance looks so elegant and beautifully strong at the same time !! She’s amazing 😻
The strength and perfection of every step is so beautiful, yet she moves so gracefully! It’s very rare for a dancer with perfect technique and grave who still can really engage an audience with a generally more boring variation!
Needs to be dancing on all the stages ASAP and she looks so happy! I have a hard time registering that this is pretty damn hard because she makes it look so easy and natural...
ballet used to exclude black women and look at this queen KILLING IT. Her pointe is blowing my mind.
@HAYAO LEONE you first
Sometimes I wish I'm a ballerina only because I want to use brown pointe shoes (my skin is brown I inherited it from my aboriginal ancestors and I love it) I really love dark pointe shoes 😍
@HAYAO LEONE got nothing better to do?
@@Anonymouslittlebee I love all variety of nude shades and aesthetic tbh
@HAYAO LEONE what is your actual problem tho?
I could watch the girl go on for days!!! Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!
The amount of people in comments calling her masculine and saying she isn’t fit for this are disgusting. She is a beautiful, ethereal dancer! I could never hope to reach the level she’s at
Omg i am in love! She embodies grace and truly is a precious dancer 😩❤️
1:08 I can’t over how on tempo and beautiful her moves are!
That's one perky tutu! But both it and Precious are stunningly beautiful.
Who’s “it”?
Gia Sharie the tutu
msguineapigsrus Oh thanks
I really respect dancers, the effort and work that must go into everything!
Mad respects to everyone that dances!
She is wearing the tutu i ordered for YAGP!! It looks beautiful on her!!! She is absolute goals!
OK, late to the game...but WOW. She is amazing and really, really beautiful! Her interpretation of the music was just spot on - there was a section where the feet were the strings and the arms the winds....just fantastic. Thank you so much for posting!
0:19 olhe como ela movimenta seus braços!! Está em extrema harmonia com a música! Inspirador.
バレエは詳しくないけど好きです。
それでもこんなに楽しそうに踊ってる方を見たのは初めてです❗
手足も長くて踊りも綺麗……
How clean and beautiful this was. She did an amazing job.
The fact that this is 90% her being on pointe and her she doesn’t even look slightly uncomfortable? That’s so cool.
The FOOTWORK 😱 I haven’t danced on pointe in like 3 months and watching this, well it makes me want to dance again!!! Looks so FUN
Ten years later, this remains breathtaking.
So nice to finally see a black ballerina !
Nimron Koneshachandra thete are alot of them.
@@kathymyers7279 Bruh
@Kaylie xoxo something's wrong with you
I don't understand why people are saying this?? There are plenty black ballerinas just not as many compared to white ballerinas.
@@repent. why would you ask what is wrong with her? And it's not a racial issue at all. It's not like ballet studios are racist and say no we don't want any black ballerinas, that just doesn't exist.
Precious Adams is one of my favorite dancers e9ver. She's so graceful but at the same time so powerful. And watching this you can see how much life and brightness she brings to the stage. So beautiful.
Who is her tether!?
可愛い!綺麗👏
すごく心のこもった踊りですね🥰
Black women have the perfect bodies for classical ballet. So grand and regal. So musical so artistic so refined!
beaaaauuuuuutifull! I am so encouraged to see these gorgeous dancers of color. She has so much talent!
1:08 I don't know much about ballet, but this part was so gorgeous
I think it's beats its a hard variation in ballet
I want to show this to all Misty Copeland's hyped fans.
This is how a inspirational ballerina looks like, how equality looks like: You are great for your skills, not for your skin color.
Bravo, Precious. You are a inspiration and a example of beauty, effort and equality
Can’t like this comment enough!!!
I don’t know all the dance terms but this young woman was lovely to watch! I enjoy ballet and being a bit of a klutz (to say nothing of an almost lifelong knee injury) it’s always a joy to watch such grace & talent!
