Every time I walk in the room and see this insanely huge Galactus taking up all that real estate, the smile it puts on my face makes him worth every penny.
A figure's worth is subjective. People buy this figure for different reasons. Some, like myself, as a part of my collection. Others maybe as an investment to make a profit. I have been an FF fan for decades, and a representation of Galactus of this scale has been a wishful thinking for years. I was glad to own the first BAF, but was miffed at how the Sentinel and Apocalypse towered over him. I was glad to own the Marvel Universe. At last he was bigger than the other BAFs now. When Haslab came about, I never really expected that Galactus was going to get that kind of a treatment. However, when the Sentinel was announced, I began to wish that Galactus would follow suit. Then this happened. To say that I was happy to get it is an understatement. I could sell all of my other figs and just keep this one. It's the culmination of my collection and a dream come true.
To me I backed Galactus so I’m also a huge Galactus fan with him in hand he’s my favorite marvel legend so far use to be toybiz giant man! So with that being said yeah he’s worth it!
I have been very happy with mine and so glad I backed this project! As one of my favorite villains, so happy to see a well-done version of this character! The face plates looked a lot nice than I expected.

Walgreens has a shiny Silver paint and no plug hole in the back which doesn't break up the sculpt. Where the Haslab has a more dull Silver Paint and a plug hole in the back for no reason.
I backed both of those as well, the Razor Crest , Jabbas Sail Barge, and the 2x new Gi Joes. Wished I backed unicorn. Whatever. And the ghostbuster proton pack. But oh well

Fedex lost mine I was told I needed to wait another week to make sure before I could get a refund I immediately went on Ebay and got one for $650 plus $50 tax $700 and I’m still happy with it Send hopes and prayers I’ll get my money back from Hasbro, I have the feeling I’ll need them.
@@xancypillosi9497 I would never be home when they do delivery so I put in to have it delivered to a fedex site (A Dollar General) near my house It was scheduled to be delivered on a Wednesday and it never moved from out for delivery for the last week Called fedex and they say the driver dropped it off (no delivery scan), Dollar General doesn’t have it and the cashiers working that day didn’t get a huge package in with the other fedex mail, and it’s STILL showing up as on the truck and out for delivery. Hasbro said I had to wait 7-10 days to make a claim and next week I will be requesting a full refund
Made him battle the whole team of Avengers and Fantasic 4 creating a multi-level battle. It and along with the Sentinel are the centerpieces of the collection. Yes it’s worth it and comparing it to the failed Haslab Engine of Vengeance is like comparing a Lamborghini to a Buick for slightly more money.
@@xancypillosi9497 Yeah, that's what tiers are. They could have also made another Herald instead, which everyone would have been happy with. Not like they had thousands of Doom heads laying around that just happened to work with this Galactus. They had to make them. I'm just saying, there were plenty of better options.

I just decided to start doing the whole boomer who collects toys thing, lol. Midlife crisis, I guess. But let me get this straight.....so the only way to get these figures is to back them? They'll never be available to just buy at your own time?
That's correct. Sentinel & Galactus were both Haslab projects, which are essentially crowdfunding campaigns for certain big toy projects. Since people have these in hand, it's a safe bet that the campaigns have ended, as these don't typically ship for about a year after the campaign has funded. Edit- they made like 30k Galactus though, that's why Jay said secondary market (ebay, mercari) prices aren't bad at the moment.

I love this guy My only real criticism is. Lacking the ability to keep the lights always on. He's one for a few minutes with the random blinking sequence. Go the extra step and give it a USB port to keep him powered/recharged. Just have more control over light options in general. Can't just crack him open and make clean mods. Anchors - He's a heavy guy. I had a fall. Nothing damaged but still being able to anchor him to a base in case it gets bumped or gravity is feeling petty would be nice. Instead of the Doom head, we should have gotten a Galan head. An unmasked Galactus.
Dang.. I am bummed I didn't get Galactus. Passed on it cuz I don't know much about Galactus other than he's a character in Marvel, but as a figured, holy impressive hunk of plastic. Definitely worth it and the FOMO is real. Might have to dive into the secondary market
Tiers could have been better, they should have used pinless joints, and better metallic paint for silver surfer and the girl, and the doom head was dumb they should have gave another figure instead. It was a really good haslab but could have been perfect.
