Later, he'd play and sometimes we'd play together. Our Wii broke after several years. We got this game for whatever XBox iteration we have now. I always thought galactus was the most frightening enemy. Thanos has his moments but nothing can match a shadow the size of a planet showing up and seeing a head the size of earth.

Oh, that's the worst part. He DOES come to destroy Earth...but he's beaten back between games. We never see any of it and Thor refuses to talk about it in detail.
I'm honestly wondering how they're gonna introduce Galactus to the MCU. I don't think his first ever appearance should be in your face, like out of nowhere. Maybe in Guardian's of the Galaxy 3 or 4 or something there's an end credits scene that shows an entire world ending and you can just see the faint silhouette of Galactus in the background
The power he wielded in the game corrupted him. In game (off screen), he defeated the remaining heroes so easily that he was looking for something else to do. He figured out he could resurrect Colossus (and Cyclops and Psylocke) and make them his minions. He even created evil versions of Spideman and Thor. (All of whom you have to fight.) (After stopping Galactus, your team returns to find Earth under Doom's control.) Then, in the final battle, it's revealed he has created a subservient Fantastic 4 to fight for him.
I remember playing this game when when it first came out. It was a beautiful masterpiece. 2 was also decent but was missing the spark. And everything else went downhill since.

Damn, its been 14 years ever since this game released, back then this was the shit.
I always thought galactus was the most frightening enemy. Thanos has his moments but nothing can match a shadow the size of a planet showing up and seeing a head the size of earth.
Galactus has Defeated Thanos before in a Fight as well in the Comics

I would have thought he’d attempt to destroy Earth in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, but I guess the makers were expecting us to forget about this end scene or something.
Oh, that's the worst part. He DOES come to destroy Earth...but he's beaten back between games. We never see any of it and Thor refuses to talk about it in detail.

I'm honestly wondering how they're gonna introduce Galactus to the MCU. I don't think his first ever appearance should be in your face, like out of nowhere. Maybe in Guardian's of the Galaxy 3 or 4 or something there's an end credits scene that shows an entire world ending and you can just see the faint silhouette of Galactus in the background
After what they did to Taskmaster i'm not sure i trust them to get Galactus right.

Doom is misunderstood. Even by his writers. 'Corrupting everyone' isnt his thing.

The power he wielded in the game corrupted him. In game (off screen), he defeated the remaining heroes so easily that he was looking for something else to do. He figured out he could resurrect Colossus (and Cyclops and Psylocke) and make them his minions. He even created evil versions of Spideman and Thor. (All of whom you have to fight.) (After stopping Galactus, your team returns to find Earth under Doom's control.) Then, in the final battle, it's revealed he has created a subservient Fantastic 4 to fight for him.
I remember playing this game when when it first came out. It was a beautiful masterpiece. 2 was also decent but was missing the spark. And everything else went downhill since.
Yeah this game has a surprisingly great story and roster. The 2nd game didn't even have multiple unlockable skins.
Spider-Man sounds like Deadpool stole Spider-Man’s costume.

@@reduxforerunner6664 steam needs to get it and X Men Legends 1&2. Heck I'd rebuy X Men Origins Wolverine for PC too. I still have MUA and XLs on Xbox but yeah it would be great for the PC with the extra characters. :{
@@tetsuoswrath Steam did have it a few years back and they even included the exclusive dlc characters like Nightcrawler, Venom and Hulk and the console exclusive characters like Colossus, Moon Knight and Hawkeye. It was the full package.

I would love the full roster version. Downloaded the free pc version and the mods to get extra characters but it’s a little buggy.
