I appreciate that Rob, Carson, and Carolyn could express their disappointment in Sean's quit without piling on in villifying him for his decision. I hope the internet treats him with some grace and compassion. I'm only speculating, but I suspect that him sharing his story about growing up gay and mormon and having to pretend to be something he wasn't had a lot more to do with his recognition that he didn't want to pretend anymore more than a belief that he was immediately going home to see his husband. He'd just come off of one of the losingest tribes in Survivor history, being blindsided by his two remaining original tribemates after trying to vote one of them off, losing his closest friend and ally in the game, only to wind up on a tribe with four players who had been together from the beginning and losing yet again. Even if he survived this tribal council, it was highly likely he'd be going back for a fifth time after Sifu was gone, Sifu being their strongest player. I think he was probably emotionally exhausted and then facing the prospect of having to put on a brave face and pretend to be cheerful and happy to ingratiate himself to the three Reba women while still remaining at the bottom. Having lived a life of suppressing his true emotions while pasting a smile on his face and pretending everything is fine, I have a lot of empathy for him not wanting to put himself through that just for a tv show. I think his reference to being with his husband was more symbolic about all he had fought through in order to be real than it was about immediately going home.
Never knew that about Bruce’s clothes being left behind and worn by others. Carson standing by the fire in that collared shirt is a super vivid memory from last season for me 💜
Omg the Carson and Rob conversation was already great, but the addition of a Christian Hubicki tribe swap model and Carolyn crashing and this video got even better!!
Dee should be more concerned that Julie didn’t vote with her. If your no.1 ride or die won’t vote with you when you call an audible (Dee tells Julie to vote sifu). If Julie won’t vote with you on a sifu vote at tribal when they are both safe, what happens when there’s risk of going home…
Did Sean not know that he’s not going home if he leaves but instead to Pondarosa? Like dude, you’re already there, you’re not gonna see your husband for days upon days regardless so you might as well just play. And the most frustrating thing is HE HAD THEM FLIPPED. He would’ve stayed and been in a fantastic spot, why did he do the work to flip them if he was just gonna quit and why didn’t he let them know he wanted out before the went to tribal?I’m beyond disappointed.
i was so surprised by the sean quit, i heard his big ol speech and i was like "oh hes just getting it out now just in case he goes home" and then he asks everyone to write his name down and i was flabbergasted
Yeah I think I’m on a similar wavelength with you on that plus the classic “I would of won if I had tried” rhetoric at the end supports what you’re saying. Don’t know with the edit how long the time was between him beginning his story and coming to that conclusion but it all seemed chaotic
It’s more disappointing cause the Reba’s were ready to cannibalize themselves which would’ve been exciting and now Sean just put Dee in hot waters, someone most people are presumably rooting for. With Hannah, she basically saved one of the best characters on the season, with Sean he saved Sifu who we don’t really care much about (like, he seems like a nice guy but we haven’t really gotten to kniw him).
If I was Dee, this is what I would tell Sifu: “I voted for you because I was scared Sean had an advantage/idol and was tricking us. I had a feeling Sean would vote for me, so I voted for you to cause a tie in case he played something.”
I would deny deny deny and say Sean is trying to break us up. He voted for you and was just being messy 😂 And then hopefully the others would corroborate the story
Nah J Maya has to be thrown under the bus otherwise Sifu knows he can’t trust Dee The plan you suggested likely won’t improve the situation and still make Sifu feel on the outs
When J was talking about taking out Sifu after the challenge, I immediately knew Sifu was safe and Sean was going. I just didn’t expect that outcome to be reached in this manner….. 🤪
It wasn't just a quit. It was a "put the responsibility on the others to vote me out" quit. That's even less dignified. If you're done, quit. Period. Don't make others vote you out.
You can’t say how you would react without fire/food (except fruit reward) for 9 days and going to tribal council 3 times…and then a 4th with a new tribe. I’m not justifying what they(Sean/Hannah) did, but I’d like to know from a psychologist how crazy this would make the majority of people.
How was it a quit if they still voted? I don't understand that if sifu was voted out then would the person who quit leave too? I think it was a fake quit that didn't work. Based off his regret of quitting I think this episode was so weird.
Carson is great and insightful and super cute (tell me if you come to Australia Casron!). But my gosh, we need more Carolyn, Ro!!.Maybe someone who contrasts her and they try and unpack the episode and let her just be herself.
I need to know what was the real relationship of Carson and Yam , because the time where Carson was making fire , and Yam trying to help, I need to know everything that happened at that time ....
I’m so annoyed with another quit!!! Ahhhhhh As Beyoncé says “somebody getting fired “ . 2 quits I don’t care. I don’t like it. At least sabotage it properly if you are going to quit
The Sifu idol logic never made sense. If they stick with Sifu, he never has any reason to blindside them with an idol. Now he does have a reason to do so
Maybe Sean and the first lady that qiit felt the passion if Sifu and Brandon to be on the show. They both used similar words anout nit wanting to takw someone's experiemce.. idk.
3 of the 4 people gone so far should never have been on the show in the first place. Bring back some regular people that want to win a million dollars, not a bunch of nerds that just want to be on the show.
To Robhasapodcast and to Carsonlikesapodcast, out of curiosity, did y'all need to compress your videos , cause mine is ridiculously large, and I like to believe that maybe if i can just get an under 50MB video, I'll at least be given a chance.
I'm so pissed. I apply season after season and these producers are casting social media superstars and little babies compared to people who would rocket viewership by actually creating great t.v. shame on these producers. Cast better and TOUGHER
Survivor has become lame. Shorter seasons. Multiple quitters. Weak players immediately targeting good players even though the early game is meant to encourage tribes to win so they don't have to go to tribal. I hope survivor producers add some incentives or punishments to stop this because I'm not gonna keep watching a show where people keep quitting and play to not lose to better players versus instead of actually trying to win. Sean is a literal loser and can't own it. His reasoning made no sense because he's just gonna sit at ponderosa. He should have owned quitting but wants to create this false narrative that he played passionately and was voted out.
Please bring Carolyn on for a full podcast soon!! This was so fun
i will always be happy seeing the tika 3 on any platform 😂
Absolutely stoked to see Carson and Carolyn on RHAP!! So insightful and such lovely energy from both of them 💗
carolyn!! so great to see her smiling face, she makes a great guest/co-host

This is what happens when you make Survivor more about the experience than about actually winning. Production brought this upon themselves.
Add them both to the weekly podcast! I always need more! Survivor Legends!
I love Carson!! Please bring him back in the future!

Same. Usually the most disappointed people are those of us who have tried to get on the show !
When it’s our time let’s just make sure we don’t quit
i was so surprised by the sean quit, i heard his big ol speech and i was like "oh hes just getting it out now just in case he goes home" and then he asks everyone to write his name down and i was flabbergasted
the way a squealed when she popped up 🥰
I don’t entirely know what my logic is but I’m much more disappointed in this quit than I was with Hannah’s
Yeah I think I’m on a similar wavelength with you on that plus the classic “I would of won if I had tried” rhetoric at the end supports what you’re saying. Don’t know with the edit how long the time was between him beginning his story and coming to that conclusion but it all seemed chaotic

Christian is the number crunching KING 👑
If I was Dee, this is what I would tell Sifu: “I voted for you because I was scared Sean had an advantage/idol and was tricking us. I had a feeling Sean would vote for me, so I voted for you to cause a tie in case he played something.”
Either that or throw J Maya under the bus. “You were the plan, J Maya was pushing for you hard.”
I would deny deny deny and say Sean is trying to break us up. He voted for you and was just being messy 😂
And then hopefully the others would corroborate the story
@syreetathibodeaux6114 But then who would they say voted for Dee and why?
Nah J Maya has to be thrown under the bus otherwise Sifu knows he can’t trust Dee
The plan you suggested likely won’t improve the situation and still make Sifu feel on the outs
I feel like the casting directors are scouting at Weenie Hut Jr. and finding quitters.
Social media superstars. Trying to bring in rating by followers instead of good television
Carolyn cracks me up. So smart too!
Hurray for Leah!! I’m proud I’ve done my part by watching RUclips ads in landscape 😂
casting needs to find people who want to be there for the experience but are dedicated to the GAME
honestly better than, the already very high quality, episode! more carolyn all the time
I love Carolyn popping on and totally agree with everything she said ❤
When J was talking about taking out Sifu after the challenge, I immediately knew Sifu was safe and Sean was going. I just didn’t expect that outcome to be reached in this manner….. 🤪
I really thought the girls were gonna just flip it on J for tryna real Sean in to her side
I LOVE CARSON!!!!
but... it's a travesty that queen Carolyn still hasn't been on RHAP for a full guesting!!!
GIVE US CAROLYN!!!
It wasn't just a quit. It was a "put the responsibility on the others to vote me out" quit. That's even less dignified. If you're done, quit. Period. Don't make others vote you out.
Thank you!!!! It seems as if this quit was game play or the producers made them vote to not be embarrassed with reaction of 2 quits in 4 tribals!
Maybe they need to make it less severe again and give them more rice to eat,not take flint etc so there is less quitting
If all hope was truely lost play the shot in the dark instead of quitting!
Still mad that Carolyn didn’t win ugh
Me too , she was less care about winning and more accomplished on the all run to the win that Yam , she was really amazing
You can’t say how you would react without fire/food (except fruit reward) for 9 days and going to tribal council 3 times…and then a 4th with a new tribe.

Wasn't Shawna, from Survivor Amazon, kept or almost kept, against her will?
Carolyn is gold
I love Carolyn so much
Carson and Carolyn's relationship ❤❤
Yes!!! Bring players that want to WIN
Carolyn should definitely keep crashing all the videos 😂❤
How was it a quit if they still voted? I don't understand that if sifu was voted out then would the person who quit leave too? I think it was a fake quit that didn't work. Based off his regret of quitting I think this episode was so weird.
Did not see that coming. Pre merge has been interesting.
Carson is great and insightful and super cute (tell me if you come to Australia Casron!). But my gosh, we need more Carolyn, Ro!!.Maybe someone who contrasts her and they try and unpack the episode and let her just be herself.
love you, Cakes. great ep
Not sad to see you go. Hope to see you never. - TJ Lavin
They should've voted for Sifu.
I need to know what was the real relationship of Carson and Yam , because the time where Carson was making fire , and Yam trying to help, I need to know everything that happened at that time ....
I’m so annoyed with another quit!!! Ahhhhhh
As Beyoncé says “somebody getting fired “ .
2 quits I don’t care. I don’t like it. At least sabotage it properly if you are going to quit
Can we have a Carolyn Corner as a fun mini segment?? She just pops in and does talks about her thoughts on the episode so far lol
2 of the 4 voted out has quit. It’s like The Challenge USA Season 1.
The Sifu idol logic never made sense. If they stick with Sifu, he never has any reason to blindside them with an idol. Now he does have a reason to do so
“Where’s Davie?” Can’t wait hear it multiple times…
Maybe Sean and the first lady that qiit felt the passion if Sifu and Brandon to be on the show. They both used similar words anout nit wanting to takw someone's experiemce.. idk.

Is Kaleb the new era Cirie?
what's up Sean? you definitely went from one of my favorites to least. I wish you hadnt made this your mark.
I'm so pissed. I apply season after season and these producers are casting social media superstars and little babies compared to people who would rocket viewership by actually creating great t.v. shame on these producers. Cast better and TOUGHER
✨🤸⭐⭐⭐
Great another quit 😞
Another quitter!!! SMDH
This is shaping out as one of the worst seasons ever!
New era sucks

This is what happened when you put gen z on survivor, they are quiters
He's 35
Both of the people that quit are millennials, what are you saying?
Sean and Hannah both weren't Gen Z. Try using google to figure that out ❤
-A gen zer
He's a school principal
Incorrect, both of them are millennials, and the gen z we've seen on the new survivor seasons have been some of the hardest players
Carlyn steals stuff because she can't value other people's desires and social rules over her wild emotions.
Go Seafu. makem pay
