This is just something special, the band sounds amazing, Julian's voice is great here, and the crowd...omg, the crowd. Wow the You Only Live Once performance is amazing. This is by far one of the best live shows I’ve seen. The crowd is amazing. You can tell that they all love this band.
this video makes me emotional because the crowd is just so lively and beautiful. it makes me hopeful to hear 700,000 or so people having the time of their lives, because they are daring to be out there sharing themselves.
This has got to be the best strokes concert to date. Pulling off Eternal Summer at Lollapalooza!? Julians voice is on point, and all that improvisation is nuts. Props to Albert, Fab, Nick and Nikolai, too! I might be projecting, but i realised just how many of their songs are about Julians relationship with his father, instead of romance. CRAZY!!! The meaning stays in the eye of the beholder.

I was just thinking how remarkable it is that they still have all the original players and that although Julian took some time to do his own stuff for a while, the STROKES stayed active and together. SUCH a BLESSING to music lovers/people with a soul, these guys
