Lenny Webb he’s been doing it since AM came out, it’s really strange i don’t get it at all, it’s not cos he’s performing in the US or owt either cos he’s done it in bare UK gigs too
I've never had the opportunity to see them perform. I know I'm going to cry my eyes out when the moment comes. I can't understand the energy of this crowd
I've seen them 3 times now and I honestly can't wait for the next one. Not even trying to boast about it but when you can feel the bass and thumps from the speakers to the floor to your soul.... It's addicting haha
I really want the day to come where I can go to a concert of theirs, I hope that if/when I do, theres a livlier crowd of people that know their songs. I get that often its annoying when people are super damn loud with their singing along, but at least a little bit is great and it often enhances the experience at concerts.
Me neither but I've already decided that when the opportunity presents itself, I'm gonna see them in Scotland (im not from there) because it was the best AM crowd I've ever seen BY FAR. You probably have but in case you haven't, i strongly suggest watching their concert at TRNSMT😍
Agree, this whole concert was spot on! Alex and the rest of the band were definately on their A game! and no interuption from the crowd singing so loud, you can't hear Alex and the rest of the band! PERFECT!
Nah, German crowds are the worst. I've never seen a Rock Am Ring crowd where they weren't dead on their heels, even if the band was playing the kind of tunes that beckoned for the crowd to belt lyrics. AM has mellowed their sound with these shows that I can see why a crowd would be quieter, but theres definitely moments where the crowd is singing along; this recording has it toned down whereas other shows may tone it up (see; Blur at Hyde Park).
Same reason a lot of European bands don't tour much or at all in North America, probably not as popular enough to warrant the travel investment and planning.
This crowd did NOT deserve the absolutely AMAZING performance that the Arctic Monkeys blessed them with. Proud of the band, disappointed with the crowd.
Wow, no response from crowd during dance floor (1:10:27)😢! Voice crack during knee socks was so rare, Alex’s vocals are usually spot on! He’s only huuuman! What the heck is he saying during pretty visitors (1:13:49) Cookie street, cookie stream??? His laughing cracks me up! 😂
What a great performance! That long & high quality, AM made great job to connect tracks from so different records in a single style. Alex taste is so sophisticated, so different records but all just masterpiece
LA MEJOR BANDA DEL MOMENTO, SIN DUDA!! En Argentina son influencia de las mejores bandas como "La rueda o el barco" o "Él mató" Son muy importantes para nosotros. Ojalá vuelvan pronto, los esperamos!!
Was at this gig and there was something wrong all set. Helders was pretty pissed off you can see at different points and so too was Alex. The beginning of Pretty visitors is the best example and Alex also throws and kicks something at one point when his guitar isn't in tune. Think there were multiple sound issues. Helder's wasn't happy with his kit and Alex couldn't hear at one point. Same with mumford on the friday and the band before AM were also having issues.
Still don't get how people complained when he wore that leather jacket for the AM run when he's had one in rotation since like the first TLSP run around.
@Carson Huff I've never said you need a drink to enjoy a concert. That is your subconscious at work inferring from my statement. Those people most likely left the concert thinking it was amazing. I've only suggested that alcohol will facilitate movement and other things associated with a 'good crowd'. So no I am not insulting music.
Don't give me that I was 14 at metallica at Manchester. Ways and means crowd just fucking Instagram thots. Having a beer is so you can let go have a mosh and not give a fuck. These idiots more bothered about getting something on their expensive shoes
I get what you're saying but its unrralistic to expect everyone in that crowd to be superfans. There was enough applause for an encore, it's not like we were all silent and fucked off asap
