if u ever want to win a transmog competition with chat voting just build any all white set or all black set or mix of black and white, they splurge over it

if you get overwhelmed in retail then go play a different game because there's literally nothing to do compared to past expansions.

You just sign up when he makes the group. Most of the time its on NA servers, so you need to be there at least.
Sign up on NA when he does this and hope you get invited. I think he invites randomly so it's just to be quick with signing up and be lucky.
