Wait…so in that infamous years old scene where Rika throughs a chair at satoko because she bullies her in that timeline, is that from Lambda antagonizing Rika/ Bernkastle, but rika still exists, just co-existing with Bernkastle (who was supposedly born from the equivalent of around 400 years of Rika’s suffering)? Because I thought that her having a briefly mature voice was because Rika had the consciousness of an adult due to repetitive suffering, but it did resemble Berns voice and mannerisms.

Are you serious? When has possession ever been a thing in WTC? That would be a very cheap move to redeem Satoko, and I don't think Ryukishi is a shitty writer. There is no indication whatsoever that Satoko is being controlled/influenced by any external force. The only conflict that would exist, if at all, would be with her own self as in real life.
