Shit 15l-100 making my xc60 t6 feel economical at 14.5l/100 but for that it has a turbo 232kw and 480nm of torque I see no point for this car to exist. and 90k for a Nissan the Mazda cx-90 looks like a much better deal overall for that price or right now even the Volkswagen Touareg 170tdi.
90k is far too much for this car. Given that the new petrol X-trail Ti-L tops out at $57k d/a, this one should have been at most $70k d/a. The X-trail and Qashqai also both have larger 12" widescreen infotainment, and they have a hybrid option. I would say if you're looking to buy a car in this class, the upcoming CX-90 is worth a look for similar money.
I bought an STL in January, Love the car, the latest version of the VQ35 engine is a cracker! Tows beautifully and it does only require 91 RON petrol, But performs better on 98, by about 8%.
I’d have considered this if this came out 4 years ago. Kind of feels Nissan US put less effort in by using the old platform and all they had to do was work on the new interior, exterior and replace the CVT with the ZF 9 speed.
To be fair, the ride/handling was woeful on the old Pathfinder and that has received serious attention on the new model (despite sharing the same basic underpinnings it is much less hateful to drive)
I am sure there are better options out there than this way over priced Nissan. Mind you cars now are reaching if not already there stupid pricing. What are your thoughts
Most think so but if you look closely at the specs and features of similar cars in this bracket the only one that matches and passes the Pathfinder is the new Jeep Grand Cherokee L, top spec in that car will set you back $130k. People that are commenting on here about this car really have no idea and make comparisons on simple single criteria.
There is no such thing as value for money when it gets to vehicles. The so called value dissapear instantly as soon as you drive it off the showroom floor. Then fuel and maintainance cost all makes value for money, total BS. Unless you store it till it becomes a collectable classic with no or little use. Even though it will still needs maintenance while its in storage.
Should Nissan bring back a more affordable model of the new Pathfinder?
I was on the pre-order list when pricing was made public, I canceled
Just leave Australia and stop insulting their fan boys
To give everyone some context an '07 Pathfinder with 4x4 started at $27k and capped out around $33k. We didn't know how well we had it back then.
I like the fact that the petrol is a NA V6 rather than a 4 cylinder Turbo petrol.
A lot of people do like that!
An atmo engine should be able to run on 91 octane fuel. The fact that it requires 95 further blows out the already high fuel bill
Homer Simpson designed this car….
- 4x4 but no clearance
-$90000???
-Requires premium fuel at 15L/100km
- 16 cup holders
it’s an American car after all.
American car for American tastes

Who said it requires premium fuel only? Also who said it's drinking 15/100km
I owe one and it drinks 10/100km city drive and 8/100 on freeway
This review. The video you’re “watching”.

And Nissan cars generally depreciate at BMW rates, so not a good idea to buy unless it’s in lease

90k for a Nissan SUV. WTF with this world. i would buy the KIA Carnival for 70k if i need 7 seat car.

88K? LOL !
I'm getting a petrol Defender for 100k with 5 year service plan and a tow bar! I know which will be nicer to drive!
Did this presenter just say he doesn't like old school HVAC controls? I've never heard of BC anyone prefering touch screen control for the AC before
You need to check your facts, the car fuel spec is 91 not 95.
I am amazed the front wheel drive was even considered.
You’d have to be a fool to pour your hard earned into an ancient tech heavy V6 petrol guzzling SUV…
Nissan pathfinder: powered by the olden days for the same money as a new CX90
53k in the u.s. and runs on regular with every option!
I think ALL cars are getting too expensive compared to just a few years ago.
Better off spending 65 on Pajero sport and spending 15 k making it absolutely weapon, better towing and torq too 😅
Can't wait for nissan to exit Australia after overpricing their underachieving suvs
The GWM Tank 500 is the one to wait for if you’re in the market for a large SUV
Could be, but we haven't tested it and wouldn't presuppose the outcome of any road test
It is worht enough than Nissan Patrol?
Roomier inside than the Patrol, but you'd have to consider the Patrol Ti if you were shopping at the Pathfinder Ti-L level.
$90K!? You're joking.. Would rather a Pajero Sport with proper 4x4, Turbo Diesel and ground clearance for $25K less!
Why would you buy this over nissan petrol ? Or any other suv for that matter
Availability, interior space, modern safety features, less thirst would be 4 reasons, but agree the Patrol is a compelling proposition
The Y62 Patrol may have a more powerful (but thirstier engine) but that thing is ancient.
New gen might use Turbo six cylinder
Nissan still building cars for the 90s....a V6 NA auto wtf

Yeah I’d buy a patrol over that

cx90 will destroy this if this costs 90k
Worth 70grand macks
Nissan was was great before Renault
That’s a ridiculous price. That Lexus money
It could be, but Lexus doesn't have a vehicle in the three-row segment that isn't the $153K+ LX.
It was a $40k car a couple years ago, overpriced!
20 century technology and 21 century price .No,thanks
20 year old engine, overpriced!
shit motor for the price
