I’m surprised that you have so little subscriptions ….?you guys are funny and very talented. I’m working on my 87’ 300zx…. Your videos are great help… thanks a million!!!!
I appreciate that! The subs are coming, I'm not huge on using social media so I just believe if you build it, they will come. Or in my case if you fix up garbage cars, people will laugh and enjoy it lol
You mentioned in this video that people were making fun of your digital dash. Those people have no taste! I own an ‘87 300ZX Turbo, all black with digital dash, and that digital dash is cool! Remember that was state of the art technology in the 80’s, and there was nothing like it on the market. Our cars are awesome!
Ok....new subscriber. You have 2 great projects similar to ones I have. Looking forward to following along. Just a few comments. The nests you pulled out are wasp nest.....not bees. The mud nest is from what we call dirt daubers/mud daubers. sections Just my opinion and it is meant to be constructive. I don't know much about making videos but I do know what I enjoy watching.
I'm obviously a new content creator so I appreciate any good feedback! I always figured I work on interesting junk, I should film it and maybe people will enjoy watching. I was just messing around finding those nests ALL over the Z, I had zero idea what made them lol. What do you mean by sections?
5/16" fuel injection hose seemed to do the trick. I think 10 feet of it did the 3 lines at the pump (pressure, return, and vapor) and the line to and from the fuel filter under the hood too. About 3' of 5/8" heater hose did the breather for the fuel filler but I did notice it kinked and sprayed fuel out the first fill up lol. I had to reach under and hold it straight while fueling up, so I definitely need to zip tie it in place to make sure it doesn't do that again. Getting ready to do the timing belt to make sure it stays saved, I saw the sticker of the last service...18 years ago if it's accurate. Freaked me out that I have driven it as much as I have with that unknown belt.
Everything. It's pretty much garage decor at this point lol. My plan is to do a Cafe racer build with it when I'm trapt inside this winter. It should run and ride with tires, brakes, and I want to fab up an intake manifold with a vw carb for simplicity.
Where did you order that boot for the throttle body intake? I just got my 300zx and my boot is cracked like that too and running rough but I don’t even know what to call that piece or where to order it from
@@WTFPerformanceShow thanks I tried sealing it off with duct tape just to see if that would get it running a little better but it didn’t seem to help at all. That’s just one of many issues with it but I got a good deal for the car so I’m okay with it
@@WTFPerformanceShow actually yeah I just went back out there and tried it again with the worm clamps tightened down as much as they could and it cleared up the rough idle and stalling for the most part. Now to figure out why the transmission is so sluggish but I just checked the fluid and it looks like it’s overfilled so I’m gonna try draining some out to see if it gets any better

And I just googled mud dauber... mind blown.
Great to see another z31 being saved. What size fuel hose did you get?

So many bee hives!

Super easy, it is just a silicone intake coupler. Just measure the throttle body and order one from eBay or Amazon.

Yea I did the same thing, duct tape and a worm clamp got me through 😂
