Not sure how you did this... From my understanding the VATS also has to be deleted from the Prom in the ecm before it can be totally removed. This method only elliminates the relay for the starter... Right?... The VATS also controls the injectors at start up through the ecm... otherwise no fuel spray at start up.
I got a question sounds dumb but could I get a step by step on how to take the keys out of ignition I cannot get it it seems like something is stopping it
If I had the original key that would if been the route we went with.... But got the car as is "non running" so trail and error was going to the way we had to go at first....
@@LICENSEDTOSEND perfect I'm trying to do this stuff right now but alot of the wiring was messed with from the passed owner of my car alot of stuff are missing and they had put a after market security system of some sort and idk what they messed with I'm going nuts lol I'm trying to find those 2 purple wires you guys jumped the yellow wire too

Where’s the vats pass key Module located. I have a 1990 firebird. Did you take the Module out?
You can use a multimeter and measure the ohms of the resistor on the actual key. No need for trial and error.

so did you guys hook the orange wire coming from the key cylinder back up or do you not need that trash any more ?
the orang wire is not longer needed since we bypassed all of the vats system altogether.

I am currently trying to do this right now to my 92 Camaro RS did this completely bypass the Vats system as in did it work completely?
