Started researching at 9pm and finally at 11:45 pm have arrived to the conclusion that i'm getting momentum 4's. 11:53 pm i have ordered them and will be picking them up tomorrow!!
@@CarefulOptimist had to return them, sound was absolutely stunning, however after using for two days i had connection issues with them, (constantly disconnecting and turning off) and also i had issues with it freezing my phone and rapidly pausing and playing with music. Swapped out to airpod maxes :)
Excellent video, as usual. Moderate and balanced review. You were not as hard on the beats as I would have been, but that only adds to the quality and integrity of the review. The truth is the Momentum are the ones to beat here. It was always coming. The Momentum is excellent. The functionality of the Momentum comes from what Sennheiser used to put out in the PXC550II. They only used the momentum name but updated the PXC550II instead of the actual Momentum 3. They abandoned the Momentum line in reality. This takes NOTHING away from the Momentum 4. They are unique and give you the music in a way you would have to spend a lot of money to get a better experience. To get something that sounds better, you would need to spend upwards of £700, and even then, you could not be sure it would always be better. It would depend on the music and the source. There are limitations when designing Bluetooth headphones. This was a no-brainer. The beats have no actual updates in style or function that seem obvious to me, apart from the spatial audio, which, if that is what you really want - you are probably better off getting the Airpods Max. For Stereo music listening, I think the Momentum, The Beoplay H95, Focal Bathys, Masters and Dynamics MW75, Mark Levenson 5909 and a few others really are in a different league than the beats. It's a different league altogether. I would love to hear your views on this. Thanks for putting in the time. Having other people feature is a fantastic aspect of your videos - I always wonder whose perspective we will get in the next video, and it is always someone interesting with an exciting way of delivering their viewpoint. Always a great addition. Your editing is on point, and I liked what you did in this video. Very good. More grease to your elbow, and I look forward to comparing the Momentum 4 with the new Bowers and Wilkins Px7 S2e ....additionally, the Quiet Comfort Ultra require a listen too. To be alive at a time like this - our ears are in heaven!!
Thank you for the diligent observations and lovely compliment. Yes, I am looking to review the PX7 S2E. But to be honest, I am a little disenchanted by the PX series. I would rather focus on these other headphones you mentioned. Stay tuned and have a lovely week.
Great review as always although I feel you’re running the risk of being branded a Sennheiser stooge hahaha. But I second your opinion on the M4s. In terms of bang for the buck nothing comes close to the SM4s at least for now. But I do feel that Sennheiser needs to step up its QC game a notch. My first pair had an ANC and sound imbalance. Thankfully I got those replaced and I’m pretty happy with the replacement unit. But I’ve been reading about similar problems with a lot of other customers on Reddit forums.
Same here… looking for comfortable anc headphones (for traveling) with great audio quality while wired to my MacBook in case of the daily business. Thank you!
I know this is not the biggest deal but the Momentum doesn't fold like the Beats do. This makes the Beats much easier when it comes to traveling with them.
I have question regarding the meaning of consumer audio? Im planning to buy sennheiser momentum 4 and theres a lot of option for less expensive one but I dont know the meaning of consumer audio. The cheaper one has consumer audio momentum 4 while the expensive one dont have the word consumer audio, only sennheiser momentum 4. Im afraid that the cheaper one is not new o resealed because of that name in different website. Hope u help me with this.
apple has much better after sale support... that means something even if they were the same price the beats have also been on sale for much cheaper than these sennheisers

Amazing! I think that the M4 is a better pick too :). I hope you enjoy it!

I am currently looking to buy some wireless headphones but I am stuck…. Sony xm5 seems vastly overrated . Would this be a good alternative?
Nice review 👍
Thank you :)
The button system in the Beats are exactly why I choose them over others
Oh yeah? Are you still enjoying it?
Great review!! prefer sennheiser momentum 4. Great sound.

Hahaha. We no stooge. We say what we experience with the device. Speaking of which, I might do another video point out the defects of the M4s.
Hi! What’s your daily driver, is it the Momentum 4? Any long term review of the M4?
I was wondering would you be able to review the Mark Levinson 5909 compared to the Airpods
Listening wired using usb-c (for lossless) wichone sounds better? The beats or the sennheiser? (do they need to be on or off?) Please I need help!

I'll just add I have these beats and I literally heard no difference when you plug it in, but I have a pixel.

I agree with you on that. But, that's about the only upside of the Beats.

They the same
I believe it’s the same, just a rebranding I believe and a way of offering the same product at a discount price.
hi sir Sennheiser momentum4 for special audio option availability
Thanks
You are welcome! Thanks for watching.

Senhesier has good sound quality but the noise cancellation is not the best.
Hmm, I think it can feel over-processed at times.
