Its interesting how Arctic's prophecy implies his fate is unavoidable, compared to most prophecies which mention some way to avoid whatever catastrophe events they predict.
I love Whiteout's mini prophecies so much. Most of them blend her synethesia into somsthing that at first seems nonsensical and meaningless until you just stop and consider them, and then they make perfect sense.
I love that whiteout gives out simple little prophecies that the characters don’t understand yet we often do, I love whiteout. I need to reread darkstalker.
oh my god im so glad that other people also thought that whiteout's comment about clearsight knitting is a reference to her trying to control the future :))
3:20 I was writing this in the comments before I reached this part I thought I was cool that whiteout may have better foresight than clearsight since even clearsight couldn’t look that far ahead
You missed the part when Whiteout said "Tangerine. Probability. Spelunking.", referring to the Nightwing Island, with "tangerine" referring to the color of the lava, "probability" meaning the volcano, and "spelunking" meaning the caves which many Nightwings will live in. Also when she and Darkstalker are playing a game of scales and squares, and Darkstalker says he's winning at life, which she replies to with "In this turn of the hourglass, yes. But when I crush you with my heart piece, then everything flips." The "hourglass" refers to the soul reader, the "heat piece" refers to their love for each other, and the "turn" and "everything flips" could mean the current stage they're in, before he's put to sleep, then after he wakes up, and he's turned into Peacemaker.
Small nitpick, but fireproof MudWings aren't actually rare. Cattail tells Clay and Glory that "the village has a red egg every few years or so", and I'm pretty sure Morrowseer mentions a pattern NightWings observed in the occurrence of red eggs that let them know there'd be one in line with the fake prophecy
i feel like if he saw Kinkajou coming, he could have avoided the strawberry. because he would have gotten a vision of that, but since he couldn't see Kinkajou in his visions, he couldn't see her thinking of the plan or anything.
I thought that the line "may spare those brave enough to look" was referencing to lizard/hope, because she was the one that helped them stop the othermind in the end.
10:09 the hole could also refer to Darkstalker being incased into Jade Mountain Okay sorta gonna go on a rant here... Whiteout definitely was the closest egg to the three moons when she hatched. She probably sucked in so much magic from the moons, that even with Darkstalker enchanting her to not have any, she got some anyway, but only in short inconsistent bursts. I believe Whiteout's mindreading could've been strong, but her prophecy would've been a lot stronger. She quite literally, with this interpretation of the hole, foresees something THOUSANDS of years in the future. I could say that she saw the REAL future, the one that all inevitably happens, no web nonesense that Clearsight had. Just a straight, true line. But of course, Darkstalker nerfs what could've been. There should be an AU were none of the dragonets were animus, or maybe Whiteout was, it'd be very interesting, and I'd love to see Whiteout's powers to the fullest extent, even if she may go derranged lol. Edit: NEVERMIND, she didnt know WHO, still, the fact that she knew what'd happen is super weird.
I like to think that what Whiteout says are kinda real prophies, because Whiteout was meant to have the same powers as darkstalker. So maybe she does get prophecies- they just are not the same as all other dragons
I know this is probably a little rude, but I just wanted to point out that with the dod prophecy, the night wings had planed to plant a sandwing egg, that the talons of peace would find.
"Beware the one how is not what she seems..." that could be moonwatcher to! EXAMPLE: She seems like a normal dragon, but she can see the future and read minds
I believe the line "Beware your own power" in Arctic's prophecy may both refer to Arctic's own animus power AND Darkstalker's power from Arctic, especially considering the next line refers to something that occurs under the power of Darkstalker's spell. I also find it intriguing that Arctic's prophecy is, as far as I can tell, the only one that directly states a specific bad event will happen without providing a way to circumvent it. I don't actually know if it means anything though, it's just kind of unusual as prophecies go.
the dragonet prophecy was also true to some extent, peril had a major role in helping the dragonets, and she came from a twin egg. blaze may not have became queen, but she learned, and bows to a fate much stronger and higher, that being thorn. the power of wings of fire i hav no idea for. darkness will rise to bring the light, onyx is a dark gem, and the eye of onyx kills either burn or blister i forgot, and chooses thorn.
before watching: Of three queens who Blister and Blaze and Burn Two shall die and one shall learn - Burn and Blaze shall die, Blister shall learn If she bows to a fate much stronger and higher - the Nightwings She’ll have the power of Wings of Fire - the Eye Of Onyx’s wings look like fire. Of the three queens, Burn and Blaze will die and Blister will learn that if she bows to the nightwings, she will become the true queen.
I heard a lot of people say that the two arc prophecies after arc one kinda fell off, and I explained the reason as to why in how I saw it With Arc One no one knew the prophecy was fake, and the SkyWing egg was shattered so they were replaced by Glory. No one knew how it would turn out since it wasn’t already destined to be fulfilled But the DoD made it happen on their own, and in a way it came true. With the other arc prophecies it’s all very instructional. It’s not clear cut what’s meant to happen but there’s not a lot of risk because we know in the end things will work out no matter what. That’s just how I see it anyway
Its interesting how Arctic's prophecy implies his fate is unavoidable, compared to most prophecies which mention some way to avoid whatever catastrophe events they predict.

Love this aaaaaaa
I think the line "a secret lies within their book" refers to the map in the book of clear sight hidden beneath the end papers
Me to.
I love how different characters interpret the same prophecies in different ways to suit their own agenda and world view.
I love that whiteout gives out simple little prophecies that the characters don’t understand yet we often do, I love whiteout. I need to reread darkstalker.

I'm glad you put Whiteout's prophecies in this video. I love that oddball dragon.

I think beware someone who is not what she seems is moon cuz like no one would expect her to have powers cuz she's so kind and shy
I love how tui just completely accidentally wrote an autistic character and she became a tone of people’s favorite character

Morrowseer: *THOSE GODDAMN DRAGONETS HAD TO MAKE IT 18 YEARS*
“THOSE FUCKERS JUST *HAD* TO SHIFT IT.”

Yes the night-wing did say a pattern
I always wonder if Darkstalker could have won provided Turtle didn't interfere with his precognition.
i feel like if he saw Kinkajou coming, he could have avoided the strawberry. because he would have gotten a vision of that, but since he couldn't see Kinkajou in his visions, he couldn't see her thinking of the plan or anything.
He did say that he saw visions but they all ended in darkness so he anticipated his defeat but didn't understand the method
6:45 no I believe Foesslayer named him darkstalker because she wanted him to stalk the darkness. Arctic named Whiteout.
I thought that the line "may spare those brave enough to look" was referencing to lizard/hope, because she was the one that helped them stop the othermind in the end.
Foeslayer is Hope, Lizard is Freedom.
@@L-ghtlessSky oh, oopsies
I wish we got more whiteout in darkstalker, she is so awesome
"The dragons who flee from the hive" could also be Blue, cricket, Swordtail, and Luna, saying they can never go back to their normal lives and fled.
10:09 the hole could also refer to Darkstalker being incased into Jade Mountain

Night-wing
I never knew Kinkajou was the 'one who is not what she seems'
Anyone got any fan theories on what the arc 4 prophecy will be about if its ever released?
Peacemaker, Auklet, Cliff, Bumblebee and Mink.
"Beware the one how is not what she seems..." that could be moonwatcher to! EXAMPLE:
She seems like a normal dragon, but she can see the future and read minds
10:28 She might've seen Foeslayer again if Arctic succeeded in giving her to Diamond
