Whaaat!! 🤗 Full fin test from 2 pro riders!!! You're kidding me!! Amazing treat for any windsurfing slalom rider-lover, well I guess it;s Christmas so thanks guys! "Should be Michele" was the first thought when I saw the intro with the Patrick sail and so it was! 👍 So needing to upgrade my fins after long injury time off, still on 2013 SL4 Deboichets, riding a 2021 72 carbon reflex Isonic I promise I will send you my impressions🙃 on a new 37 Chopper! 😍Aloha from Loutsa!🤩🤙

You guys put up a fantastic video! Nice to get the confirmation regarding speed, control and predictability. Actually it's not soft at all, but it does give a light feel on the back foot. "Easiest and fastest" was A2's feedback after his defi win this year so feedback is pretty matching. Would've been nice to see you test it in more challenging conditions because we feel that's when it truly delivers. Great work anyway! Keep up the good work.

I have driven most Fins - Bug, Z-Fins, Ultra Maui Fins Chopper, Erd , but when I got on Sonntag I realized that this is my Fins. With her I feel the perfect glide the best. it doesn't burden my legs I don't feel any resistance the board moves like I'm on a foil and the most important thing is that it doesn't play or make any sound. Everyone else is playing, and that annoys me a lot. If it happens to me that you give me a fink, I will gladly take a sonntag. I have been subscribed to your channel for many years and I always look forward to your every video. Greetings from Bulgaria.
p.s. by the way, if your Sonntag was 2 cm smaller, it would be perfect for you.

Watched the whole video in three parts at the gym. First of all, big praise, you rarely see such elaborate videos. I don't even want to know how long the editing took.
Seeing the water and drone shots in the gym motivates me even more for next season.
I would find the Bug Fin very interesting to test, after what you said about it in the review.

    Hello Nico again,
as I see now there is fin to win.
Awesome, because I crashed my "evo slam"
    in Leucate last year.
I would prefer the chopper fin.
I saw most of your videos and I think very nice, smart with very beatiful
Pictures in these grey days. Go for it🤙👌

What a tedious but very helpful fin comp.
Used to be a pretty big MFC and Select fin fan, but after going over your very comprehensive comp, I was intrigued by the Sonntag custom fins...which they could customize for my height, weight, 130L BIC Techno WindFoil board, with a wide (4.7m2 to 7.5m2) quiver of sails, and where I sail on the Columbia River.
So I decided to get a 38cm and 43cm Sonntag fins. What an amazing difference, and a very inexpensive upgrade!
Best windsurfing money ever spent! Thank you!

Best Fin review ever. This was quite the project again. Just awesome to share these adventures with us all.
Fantastic Drone footage b.t.w. Not clear who the pilot was, but great shots of the speed on the water.
Editor was no slouch either. Placing the drift and spinouts with the right fin was, and is, key. Well done.
For me the Bug seems to be the right choice.
I sail it rough here in Florida, mostly on the Indian River near the Space Center.
Would be an awesome addition for my JP (Which I love b.t.w.)
    Greetings from the Space Coast.
    Thanks for sharing.

Super Video👍! Interessante Vergleiche.

Hi Nico, interesting video, I've had 5 Z, 4 Chopper, 2 MUF and now I have some Tribal .... As for top speed the fins with more speed I've had are the tribal fins measured with gps (Locosys GW60 and Motion), but of course they are not pure slalom fins, now I only have the tribal because I do speed and I'm super happy, comparing them with the Chopper and Z, always with the same equipment I was in +1 knot of speed or even in big boards +2 knots. ... but of course, they are not the best fins to compete in slalom and I imagine you have made a video of slalom fins. It's good to have comparisons because not all of us are looking for the same thing from a fin

Congrats! I’ve been waiting for this one of the kind, mega review ever since you first teased it. It’s so hard for us plainfolks to find the right fin to our needs! I’d give any of the Sonntag, Finish, Chopper, Z, C or Bug lines a try. I have a glass one that feels too stiff and an smax that is 2cm too long, so a 37cm tuttle carbon would be a great improvement to my middle sized board. I value acceleration and control the most. Thanks so much for spending the time to do this review, so useful for the recreational sailor that might be on the edge of buying a reasonably expensive fin, but not being quite sure what might be best suit them. If there is any one thing you could add would be the sailing conditions the fin is best suited to, open water chop versus sheltered flatwater, but I guess you only tested it in the one and it looked quite choppy. Thaks again

A review of 13 fins, what a work! I have never seen such a large and detailed review of fins, great to see the ups and downs of some fins. I just bought my first medium slalomboard and was looking which fin to buy. The Bug SLEM fin looks my winner😋! Great value for money and the controllability and easy of use I'm looking for. So fingers crossed 🤞

Thanks but as you learned on your visit to the USA weed fins are often a requirement for our locations. It would be great to see a comparison of weed fins to pointers, especially as it relates to the compromises that is a weed fin. I know Maui Ultra makes a couple of very popular weed fins that we use in FL. Love to hear your thoughts on their big Delta fins.

Great video. Very informative and you can see you guys put a lot of effort into it.
If I had a choice I’d go with the Chopper Fin.

Great effort of such a big range!
It would be nice with an analysis of what parameters makes different behaviour, not only depth: thickness, length, area, rake, wing profile...
Would like to try the Chopper!

Thanks to you and Michele for the wonderful work. Compliments. Yes, this is definitely a test! I vote for BUG, the production is less than 100 km from my home and I have a couple of these fins. I also have a MUF slalom carbon but after less than a year it broke cleanly at the base while I was surfing 1 km from the shore in off shore conditions😡

Awsome Video A very Good comparison off all the fins. Definitely helped me to decide what fins I should get. The Z fin was the Most appealing to me. All in all a very nice Video and ist was very easy to follow
