Not reaming causes turbulance!! Ream pipe to full bore , always!!!
It does and at recirc pumps, especially on boilers normally each fitting will leak over time

If it were not, that would make it a poor test
There is no before and after test isolating a press connection because there is already a pressed connection introduced before the video starts

How do you determine if the joint is pressed correctly? There are manual pro presses for $95 and ones for $4,000. How do you determine the quality or press? Or if it meets minimum standards/specs?

You need the $4000 dollar Rigid press tool. The standards meet the requirements or exceed the requirements. With the $95 dollar tool you are tossing away your money and you are not guaranteed a good press. Don't buy those manual presses from Ebay or Amazon.

They are in use since the mid 90's 😅
You do realize that the o ring is the failsafe in the pro press, it literally crimps the copper so tight before and after the o ring that it's a water tight seal
