As someone who’s from exactly where he’s from, Winston-Salem, NC, and seeing that I used to play basketball with him, everyone in Winston was overly excited for him. It’s sad to know he never really became the player we all knew he could be.
@ObamaFromKenya I knew he wouldn’t be the man but I was thinking he’d fall into a more significant role than he has, yk a guy that’ll give you 13 2 and 4 on decent efficiency playing good defense
While with the Kings you really saw some flashes and good stretches of him being a solid player. It just seemed like whenever he took a step his body betrayed him. It was never anything as bad as his knee injuries but smaller nagging ones that prevented him from growing.
I lived in the Winston-Salem area and as a kid heard a lot about him. I got to train with him a couple times and he was good but I think it was another case of not having the right people who knew how to manage players bodies to prevent those possible injuries
I was triggered by the title lol but yes he is not bad as you said at the end!!!!!!!!!! he has been through a lot! I went to highschool with him at Oak Hill and he was an incredibly sweet and humble guy - I miss him and pray the best for him. I remember when he got injured in his first game - it was an away game so I didn't get to see it but I was so sad to hear it - even though that happened he still had a good attitude and treated those around him with love even when people at our school were always fangirling him and bombarding him. I pray God will help him in his time with the wherever he ends up now and that all this will work together for good - being humbled is better in some ways but it must be so much for him having to go through all this. Sad he didn't stay a Laker though fr ugh maybe in the future 🥲
This is terrible!! He still looks GREAT this is confusing!! Really looking unstoppable!! He’s as Healthy as anyone else in the NBA to me so how bad is he??
@@ryansack5198 Im just telling the truth. He got drafted after averaging 3ppg at Duke and has averaged like 5 ppg at the NBA. He can’t stretch the floor, create his own shot, rebound at a high level or defend the rim. Those ACL tears ruined him. He was already done by the time he got to Duke.
How would Harry Giles' career have panned out if he didn't have all of the injury setbacks? Let us know in the comments below👇
Do Trevon Duval or Jaylen hands
@ObamaFromKenya Trevon was just bouncy and didn’t have a consistent jump shot and only averaged 10 4 at Duke not great numbers
@ObamaFromKenya yea
@ObamaFromKenya Jaylen hands he was okay at ucla
One of my favorite "What Ifs" there is, at the end of the day, he made the league and is still in it, so that's a success in itself.
earnings $8,265,804 sounds successful to me lol
Them knee injuries killed his career

How I feel about cam reddish makes me sad

Never trust a duke player 💯 #bbn
At least he got drafted in the first round.
If you think Giles is bad you don’t know basketball
Who?
terrible mixed volume levels
Injuries
Injuries for sure
He was pretty bad. He literally only made it to the NBA because people felt sorry for him. He was ass in Sacramento.
Nah he was a decent bench player in Sacramento
@@Kaschmages He averaged 6 pts and 4 reb at the power forward position playing 15 mpg. He also shot poorly from the ft line. That’s pretty bad.
@@abdullenoir1792you don’t know what you’re talking about. Stop it.
