Interesting review folks. Those are 2006 models. The 2005's were orange/yellow/silver/black, with the "ex" on the tail.
I ski a pair of 2005 Metron EX's in 175cm, with Neox 614's, that I purchased in '06. They are waaaay too much ski for me at 5'-3"/135/60yrs old, but I just love skiing on them.
