I’m a big cs fan and i know a good amount ab na cs and let me say he wasn’t struggling he was actually by far the best awper we had in na for almost a decade being igl’d under steel really taught him how to have good impact and he showed that he was good on an international level which is something na didn’t have since skadoodle in his prime so yeah he was next up to a liquid or eg I think he didn’t want to wait for the opportunity cause it takes those teams a very long time to try new talent so he jumped ship which is unlucky on his part cause if he waited a few more months he would’ve actually had that chance on liquid most likely

It's not a shocker that so many players that didn't actually develop their personality and game skill during their transition like Wardell, JasonR, etc, ended up in the exact position they had in CS: B/C tier streamers with inflated egos.
Jett's instadash was nerfed in April of 2022, not in 2021, so this change wouldn't have affected Wardell at all. Wardell wasn't even in the lineup at that time either
I feel like one of his pitfalls was playing so much tarkov. Iirc there were weeks that TSM had games where he was streaming it every day and playing off line. It seemed like he cared more about Tarkov wipes than tournaments
being the best in a losing team is already a downfall. and when the team wanted to rebuild around him he declined, then years later that girl leaves him. then this issue about stream sniping followed up by a crypto/nft hacked account. man you can say whatever you want about wardell but that situation is a shithole already. Im not a fan of his but i wish him good life and can surpass this. one day he'll rise he just needs time and right people around him. Tenz was in this situation around before but he rises back gl king
Wardell got dropped from TSM because he didn't wanna go to boot camp with them since it required him to move to Texas for months and at that time he had a girlfriend and didn't want to leave her. Also I was watching the stream when he was playing with the stream sniper, kittymeowmeow wasn't stream sniping until they got into the match with Tarik. Kittymeowmeow asked if he could play with Wardell since he's a fan and after being hesitant Wardell finally said fine lets play. During their first few matches Wardell asked kittymeowmeow if he was stream sniping because his chat was saying that kitty is a sniper and he said no im not. Once they got into the Tarik match kittymeowmeow started stream sniping, and well Wardell can't really do anything about that if Tarik has no delay. Wardell was pretty much saying if you have no delay your pretty much asking to get stream sniped and its true just look at all these streamers complaining and crying about it when they can just put a delay to stop it.
As much as I dont wanna admit it he was one of the best out there plainly cuz of how good of an opper he was. But if he were to come back now hes gonna be a sub par player
yeah he forgot the main reason of his downfall. Losing life saving around $300,000 and her girlfriend leaving him. He sacrifice his spot in tsm just to focus on crypto/nft and just end up losing it. he is already down during the stream sniping incident. He have nothing to lose at that time.

I think honestly it's just his style of play got phased out of the game and he failed to adapt at the same rate the meta changed.
