- DS Mario Circuit got a huge glow-up in this game. And this comes in just one day after its inclusion in Mario Kart Tour.
I've always wanted a full-on remix of this music, and man, the Mario Kart Band delivered on every expectation.

They’ve been doing that for most of the DS remixes. Wario Stadium and Shroom Ridge both retain the DS vibes as well and I simply love it
People might not see this track as memorable but it sharing its music with figure 8 circuit just smacks you in the face with nostalgia when it's remixed
Back then I played Mario Kart DS and Mario Party DS 24/7. This brings back a lot of memories.

There's a wiggler sleeping nearby in the forest and it wakes up when we go into the 3rd lap.
When I was watching it's behaviour when it comes back it go's behind some trees and doesn't come back
I sat there for 5 minutes but it didn't come back

When DS Mario Circuit first came back in wave 4 for the BCP, I cried with tears of joy to see one of the more forgotten tracks from MKDS finally got the remake that it deserved
I missed this track so much! im so glad its in the Booster Pass!
I wanted a remix of the music for so long, this is a delight (as well as Tour's remix).
Jeez, how many castles does Peach own, we got 3 in this game alone, Wii U Mario Circuit, N64 Royal Raceway and now DS Mario Circuit, all jokes aside, music is great

This is unironically one of my favourite DS tracks and seeing it in MK8D is really nice. The remix is great.

I was initially so disappointed that this track of all DS tracks were chosen but it really grew on me and now I love it
I remember getting such excitement doing Figure 8 Circuit when I first played Mario Kart DS.
Seeing this amazing track come back for Mario Circuit just makes me so happy. This track is and will always be a banger.
Just from the first couple of notes i was hit with the nostalgia so hard my smile never left the entire race even while getting hit with items.
I love how they used synths like in Shroom Ridge

Wish we had more MKDS tracks remade or just the music, because hot damn this is nostalgic and modern at the same time. The big N didn't disappoint this dedicated 17 year Mario veteran.
This one's definitely a banger! And I guess this means every Mario Circuit from past Mario Kart games has been remade at least once?
Edit: Oh wait, I forgot about Wii Mario Circuit. And if we exclude Tour, 3DS Mario Circuit hasn't been remade to the main series yet.
Don't forget SNES Mario Circuit 4, Tour didn't remake it either
it also means we have at least one circuit track from each mainline mario kart game excluding Wii Mario Circuit. and since wave 6 has one more wii track, it could have a chance of returning in 8dx. the circuits we have so far is: Mario Stadium, Mario Circuit, GBA Mario Circuit, N64 Royal Raceway, 3DS Toad Circuit, SNES Mario Circuit 3 and DS Mario Circuit.

Why exclude Tour? It’s no less a MK game then the others
@@VancouverVelocityFan It is a mobile game that doesn’t keep all the tracks. When it released, it was somewhat of a pay-to-win. This ruined made the fans of the series view it as a hate letter to the fan base. This is why we normally exclude Tour when referring to Mario Kart.
If you dislike this track, just remember we don't live in the timeline where Figure Eight Circuit was chosen instead.
We also don’t live in a timeline where Luigi’s mansion was chosen
This particular slot would've been so disappointing for me had it been Airship Fortress, Delfino Square or Luigi's Mansion.
I'm glad that they went with the better pick of all, honestly.
@@GamingPlayer123 Ds mario circuit is a more disappointing slot, instead of getting something fan favorite it’s just another generic circuit track to add to the pile, not even accounting for the fact that is the last ds track we get for this dlc. We live in a universe where one of the most obscure circuit tracks got in over something like airship fortress, Luigi’s mansion, or delfino square. All of which have way more unique ideas then Ds mario circuit

This is my favorite DS remake in the game so far, and yes that includes the base game DS courses...

This slot would've been my disappointment on Wave 4 had Airship Fortress, Delfino Square or Luigi's Mansion been chosen, but I'm glad that wasn't the case.
Goes to show that what hasn't been redone yet has more impact.

not only cause it's the worst of these three imo, but we already have GCN Luigi's Mansion as a battle course

I'm pretty sure someone has mention this, but I don't understand why figure-8 circuit was never in mario kart 8 deluxe or even in the orginal mario kart 8. This involves the number "8". I know it is extremly unlikely to be in MK8D (or even in MK Tour), but I think F-8 circuit would be a very fitting course for this game.
this entire remix just reminds me of when times were good as a kid before school and adulthood hit me like a truck.
This song is perfect when you are driving in a Chevy SS going 110 mph in the city. You also drift in the streets. Tell me what car you would drive with this song

I remember being disappointed about this track's inclusion in the DLC back when the Wave 4 trailer dropped. But after few months passed since then. I started to like this track. Sure i would've love to have Airship Fortress or Luigi's Mansion(mostly). But this track is alright in my book.

Was never a fan of Mission Mode but alright, won't fight with those who enjoyed it.

At least we got that instead of (figure-8 circuit/the worst track ever)but it would have been pretty funny because of name but it also as the number 8 because MK8DX in the name of the game as well 😂.
