AKA, the same source code appeared in Mario Kart Tour for those who don't get it. This literally proves right here that this track is indeed planned to be in Tour first.
Who else has noticed that Tour has an odd number of new tracks, like 8/8DX. 8/8DX has 25 new tracks, whilst Tour has a total of 31 new tracks, 14 cities, 7 non-cities, and 10 RMX courses. Maybe the reason Sky-High Sundae, Yoshi's Island and Squeaky Clean Sprint debuted in 8DX first was to technically give both games an even amount of courses, as it would give both games 28 courses each, with there being 4 non-cities that debuted in tour first, and 3 that debuted in 8DX first.
I find it hilarious that a bathroom in the middle of spring cleaning is my favorite part of this update. Never would have thought such a thing, and yet, here we are! I love this course! :)
really love the music from 00:35 to 00:47 it is pure perfection and for it to be in a simple mario kart track is insane. i would love some actual songs, j-pop, regular rock, and jazz that have something simillar or the same as that part and even onwards. becayse hearing it for the first time felt totally out of place but in a good way.
This music is fantastic, curious how the Tour version will sound, whatever it will sound like, my preference will probably go to it like it did with Yoshi's Island
Probably without the orchestra sounds similar to Yoshi Island and Sky high sundae, I guess next tour after Pipe Squeaky Clean Spring debuts or next month similar to Sky high sundae last year in August perfect course to debut in summer time with a shower in bathtub after a very hot day.
I mean it is part of the BCP, but still a Tour track as MobBR. What really gets me is that they only label "new" on Sky High, Yoshi's Island and Squeaky because they're Tour nitros that didn't reappear in the BCP. Merry Mountain and Ninja Hideaway are marketed from Tour, without the prefixes because they're non-city tracks. But they did reappear though. I think Nintendo wanted to label 3 tracks as "new" so they could release those Tour nitros to the BCP first and then later on Tour.
Squeaky Clean Sprint - BathBomb, BathBombCurrent, DuckToy, Effervescence, JumpClothespin(1-4), JumpMobbr, JumpStickyMobbr, KuriboFloatToy, PukupukuMecha, RoadSponge1, RoadSponge2 Looking forward to outdated comments on here in about a month or two.
They basically managed to turn the beauty of cleanliness into music.. The 'blink' sounds, high-pitched tones and happiness of feeling refreshed through the upbeat yet relaxing vibe. All this wrapped in a music with Vintage Jazz, Big Band and Shibuya-Kei influences..🫧🧼
I love this version of the course. What could be more fun racing in a giant bathroom, starting with the sink, then going towards the bathtub with three sponges acting as the upper-left path, with the bath bombs down there by performing tricks on top of them, with the drain leading into the dark tunnel with a ring inside as a shortcut, and going back up to the floor, with a half-pipe near the fan with some soap acting as off-road, gliding towards the left-lower path for the first lap, with the second lap activating the toilet's geyser leading to the right-upper path, gliding again to different paths near the sink, and jumping off the Mushroom Trampoline to get back on the main route?
I can't stop coming back to this track it might actually be clawing its way up to absolute favourite status. It's not as chaotic as Waluigi Pinball or the OG Coconut Mall and maybe potentially Tick Tock Clock though the chaos is more on par, but it's still one of the best "Weird but Wonderful" courses in MarioKart and this song is catchy as hell in a way most recognisable Mario music is
Do like the theme of this track and nice to see the files for rubber duck and bath bombs in action on this stage since the tour leak in 2022 mentions it And being able to hit someone into the toilet is funny as heck lol
One of the best songs I’ve heard for a tour nitro track but is it just me or is anyone else noticing at 0:22 - 0:24 the audio randomly gets quieter or is it just me, I don’t know if Nintendo intended it to be that way or not.
Who would’ve thought a track taking place in a bathroom could be so enjoyable? Honestly I hope Nintendo does another track like this in the next game, maybe set in a kitchen or something
Can you blame them? Nintendo advertises it as new and it doesn't have a Tour prefix. Honestly even if it was made for Tour it still should be labeled as a nitro cause it came to 8DX first and that's what the game says, I think both sides of the argument are fair
@@radioactivevolt what didn't made sense to me is that they DID called it "Tour Ninja Hideaway" in the Wave 1 trailer, and yet they didn't add the Tour prefix

Out of all songs in mk8dx, this sadly is the one i dislike the most. It's honestly a bit hard on the ears for the first 35 seconds with many random loud spurts from the music that don't go eell with the softer tone of the rest of it. After 35 seconds, it's just ok with decent progression but it ends to quickly with a really bizarre sound that sounds ripped from other songs. The tour version of the song is better but still isn't that amazing.
"mobBR". Enough said.

There's something so magical about this track I can't even explain it
Well, you're correct.

I wonder if this is the same house as Ribbon Road.
Could be!! For all we know, someone's racing along Ribbon Road just down the hall. :D

is nobody gonna talk about the ring that fell in the sinkhole?

Would have been funny if it was the ring in the sand kingdom from Odyssey
