The first clip, when the Berserker Lord breaks through that window and the music begins, Samus signals her ship to get out of harm's way... then she's cautiously but confidentally backing up, ready to take on a creature 5 times her size - tell me this isn't one of the most badass opening scenes to a boss fight ever. I got chills when I first saw this back in the Wii glory days. Epic game, legendary video game character.
If she's not the most badass Nintendo character out there, it's only because she's the most badass character out there in general.

I love the details of her body language to. She runs to help the downed soldier but then stops and preps for a threat. She’s not afraid, she’s calculating how she’s going to kill that thing, and makes sure her ship is out of harms way so she can leave
Samus is badass and there’s a reason the Federation holds her in such high esteem
And are we gonna forget the fact that the Berserker Lord threw a Federation Marine out said window, killing him upon impact?!
The Doomslayer helps Samus do her job by keeping Hell from invading, all the while Samus keeps our universe safe from itself.
I greatly appreciate this as a concept.
Now when I go back to play Metroid feel so relaxed and comfortable compared with playing Doom xd
And Kratos keeps gods from becoming over gluttonous while also disturbing the natural order of everything.

With high resolution you see the real texture quality and other things you usually don't see that well

Great tip...Don't over hype yourself...I was way hyped, but remembered that RETRO isn't working on Prime 4...For now, I just hope the new game honors the trilogy and isn't terrible. I'm just hoping for "good" at the moment...We haven't even had a trailer or a tease (not counting the title)
As far as I'm concerned, Metroid Prime is over. Dark Samus, the titular "Metroid Prime" is dead, so I don't know how they're gonna continue it without it.
As I see it, calling it "Prime 4" is only meant to tell us that it's going to be a 1st-person shooter like the trilogy, but I'm expecting little to no tie-ins to the actual Metroid Prime, Phazon or Phaaze. I'm going to try and look at it from that perspective.

I really miss this game. It was the perfect blend of Prime and Prime Echoes in terms of atmosphere, but I love what Retro did with making the story more engaging.
Also, kinda surprised how well this game holds up visually. Even if it's upscaled, I forget how gorgeous this game is 🤠

Yes but this video doesn't turn on Wii ( original version ). And with Switch, we can have better graphics than this
You need the Nova Beam to bypass the Phazite protecting said weak spot, and you fight the hatcher as a boss before you fight the thing that gives you the Nova Beam in the first place.

The game is seriously super slick and extremely good, on mechanics and aesthetics, and music. Fuck it's good.
Wow this looks like the game came out from a real Wii U remastered version or even a Nintendo Switch! I can't even keep it stable enough on native resolution and just by looking at the performance, you probably have a beast of a PC to run this, or at least a very powerful CPU and a decent graphics card.

What a weird feeling it is (for someone like me who hasn't played that game in a very VERY long time) to see all of that stuff in that quality...
Berserker Lord - He was nice first boss, it wasn't the hardest, even on Hypermode, and that made me like him
Meta Ridley - AWESOME! I love fighting him, the fight is great, fresh, while making a pressure on player. I literaly killed him 100 meters before death, and it was so great
Rundas - It was sad that i had to fight him, he was such a great friend. But about the fight, it didn't welcomed me kindly, i kept dying and dying, just, urgh.
Korakk Beast - Well, could be better, but it's so complicated. I have to drop the rider, and then shoot his mouth, place a bombs under him, rip off his tail, and then attack.
Mogenar - Nice, but i had to be super careful, due to how low my energy sometimes was
Steamlord - He had a nice battle, and it was even better when i was fighting him back to get an Energy Cell with the X-ray Visor
Defence Drone - Sometimes the diodas respawn too fast, but overall he was an ok boss
Ghor - Probably the easiest of the corrupted hunters. This battle was ok, but still, too easy.
Helios - Easiest boss in game, for me. It was creative af, and i liked it the most of all the fights. But reward wasn't really used by me (in fact, none of the Hyper rewards were used often by me)
Gandrayda - The hardest of the hunters, but also the most fun one. Her battle was so fckd up, it always made me laugh. But difficulty also was ok, though i died like, 5 times
Metroid Hatcher - It's boring, repetetive, and by repetetive, i don't mean that you fight him TWICE, or even TRICE! The one on Norion was the worst, because of the fact, that the spin attack gave so great knockback, that i always fell down from the arena
Mining Cannon - I never considered it as a boss, but ok... The battle also was easy, as you can just avoid damage in hypermode, and then easily destroy the cannon
Omega Ridley - ...just no. Battle as a battle isn't bad, but it drags on and on like crazy. I fought him for hour (i died), and it was just, yhh. He's opening his mouth not often enough, and the fact that i couldn't kill him without enough energy made it all worse, because i had to farm the fireballs, with would make battle even longer... the worst boss in the game, and overall the worst incarnation of Ridley
Dark Samus - It;s so enjoyable to kill her after all what she did to other hunters. Battle also had a pressure, because of overloading Phazon
Aurora Unit 313 - Only after 2nd playthrough, i discovered why it was the final boss. Learning all about the attack on Valhalla, and hearing the Secret Message on the rests of ship made it even more climatic. But about the fight, it's nice to fight something like Mother Brain in 3D, still making a pressure, but for me, the final battle could be something better...

Nah i love omega ridley, he looks awesome and is super fun to fight, next to meta ridley from prime 1 my favourite ridley of all time.
Also he is super easy, i can kill him in 5 min. Still fun.

The progression of this game past the introduction seems to represent the 5 stages of grief. Initially, there doesn't seem to be a problem with the PED, leading the Federation to *deny* something bad will happen to Samus. But at a certain point on Bryyo, problems start to arise, which foreshadows the boss fight with the 3 hunters. Then the first Hunter fight begins, but Rundas seems to be attempting to deny his own phazon corruption, making it easier to kill him than the other hunters. Elysia is where you fight the next one. Ghor represents *anger* as signified by his far more agressive attempts to hinder your progress. Additionally, Samus will lash out at the Dark Samus shadow in an attempt to save him. Gandrayda later afterwards disguised herself as a soldier and *bargains* with you to assist her. Once she is down, you notice Samus' hopelessness. She seems to be getting *depressed* with all this. And much like depression eats away at people, Samus' corruption will attempt to eat away at her when she finds herself on Phaaze. But should you prevail after collecting at least 75 percent of the upgrades, Samus will come to *accept* that their deaths were not in vain.
And if you get 100 percent, you get a bonus scene where Sylux (as confirmed by someone from Nintendo) pops up and zooms after her.
The second boss was nuts! :O The struggle looked real
The first Ridley fight always sticks out in my memory as ome of the coolest boss fights of all time, it had no business going that hard.

When I saw that Meta Ridley was only the second boss, I knew I could expect another fight with him, since he’s usually the second/third to last boss.

Maybe they wanted to make Samus a bit more vocal? Probably was included with all the voice acting in the game
Omega Ridley... that battle on Hypermode just drags on and on, as he slowly drain your health...
I just realized the last Hypermode Upgrade is the most corrupting one..... and it's RIDLEY that 'gives' it to her.

One thing I don't understand about Rundas is that when he was possessed he wasn't able to talk but with the other bounty hunters they were still able to talk when possessed

meh, maybe 2 with its war... but Prime 3 has multiple planets AND a war, plus the Pirate Homeworld which is one of my favorite levels in any Metroid game. They all good. but I think in terms of SCALE, most would say Prime 3 had the most bombastic story... which makes sense since it was game 3 in a Trilogy.

Whenever i watch a video of this variety my first thought is to think i'm my fanfiction series' version of Galaxy Angel II's Anise Azeat, who due to an insanely strong natural purifier effect has access to a rainbow-colored Phazon variant with selective targeting, and yell out the name of her Phazon-based Leviathan-busting move 'Shining Phazon Crash' as Samus fires the core-frying attack.
Also, due to said rainbow-colored variant, Phaaze doesn't explode as the rainbow-colored variant quickly overtakes the planet. But not from a far longer sequence of battles, as instead an enhanced version of the Leviathan-busting move sees a rainbow-variant Leviathan impact Phaaze (the enhanced version i dubbed the 'Angel's Eclipse Wrecker', with its power partially coming from a precursor to a 'Triple Armor Overlay' ability due to my version of Anise only having access to two of the three armors necessary for the triple-armor ability)
Now that the Metroid Prime Beyond is revealed, the name of that game is still *Metroid Prime* which means Metroid Prime is still alive somehow.

Phazon mode is like god mode but at a cost,
If you holf in phazon mode for too long, you die instantly and became dark samus
Edit: nvm its only happened when you risk your last energy tank for it if you hole in phazon mode for too long when there is another full energy tank it's automattically cancels out of it costing you 1 energy tank. I kinda like this mechanic
Correction, if you stay in hypermode long enough you enter a corrupted state where either the auto vent or depleting the phazon will force you out. If the phazon fills to full in the corrupted state you have a few seconds to quickly deplete it enough to avoid fatal corruption death which makes you another dark samus.
the only thing I can comment on about this game is the ship seen at the very end. it looks a lot like sylux's ship that we see in metroid prime hunters. Wouldn't surprise me if he makes a come back in future games.

I tried Prime 3 from blockbuster and gave up when I died to some dragon falling down a shaft. I'll try the game again but not look up where any upgrades are like I did with the first prime games.
