- A guitar cover of CHON's "Fluffy". I love this song!
Guitar was recorded direct into Reaper using a Marshall JMP patch on my Kemper Profiling Amp. Recorded audio is panned 30% right, "Fluffy" is panned 30% left. - Видеоклипы
Those two slides up/different sounds at 0:11 got my heart :3
That's literally what I scrolled down to say.
Listen to Melanie Faye's version. She does that same exact slide.
Jesus christ, that is clean as hell. And that spanky fender tone is just so amazingly tasty.
A silverburst Tele? Woah, i love it.
Erick and Mario make it look really easy. Really great cover dude!
love the slide on 0:12
enjoyed it sooo much! thanks for posting
sick clear sound!
LIKE A BOSS. This was so awesome to watch. must now learn this song. damn.
Dude I'm pretty sure this the cleanest, best sounding chon cover I've heard on youtube. Good shit. Much respect.

Great playing, and great audio.
So fucking clean Eric would be proud of that tap solo
Nice bro, amazing
ssuper sweet sweep picking

Your super talented.
Fluffy sounds better on a fender imo :$
Thanks! I like the brightness. :)
Everything sounds better on a tele haha
You should be proud of yourself.. you nailed that shit man! Daymnn!!!
Wow for a standard Made in Mexico tele you made that guitar sound goddamn beautiful amazing playing btw. Was considering on buying one of those but was a bit worried about sound, feel, etc. and this just convinced me to buy one now.
man mexican fenders are renown for how good they are where have you been living
smoove af
BEYOND BEAUTIFUL!!! Fuck yeah!!!!
T
Great job :)) Really enjoyed the sound and your playing ! :) Have a nice one ! and lol this is 2013 I can't even imagine how good you are now :) hh :D ! Take care !
nice playing
Really nice man! How long did it take for you to learn?
About the same time it took him to reply
Mad props dude. May I ask, is this one take, or did you edit together different takes. If one take, you're crazy precise and clean. I didn't hear any errors. If edited, it's still amazing. I'm learning this song and any section, even if practiced in isolation, always has me missing a few notes or not hitting them cleanly.
2019 here!!
Any tips on the fast parts? I wanna learn this song so bad but I have trouble on those...
The best way to learn any song is to start slow with a metronome and bring it up to speed gradually. Playing it slow helps to engrain the movements into your muscle memory, and then repetition will help you clean it up and master it. :) good luck!
+Luke DeMuro this is so true. When you've mastered any song, you'll say, "I can play this song faster"... It's all about practicing to make it sound clean, even if you gotta start practicing slow. great cover btw
cool
We need a tutorial! Great job.
Hello I like your cover

fuckinnnnn awesome were!!!!
solid as fuck
Would you be willing to send tablatures to this song i really want to learn it?

Can you provide the backing track?
CHON - Fluffy (Guitar Cover)
How did you get the tone I've been trying for a while and I keep ending up with a tone that has too much gain
A Fender, Marshall or Vox amp would probably be an ideal starting point. Some of this song, like the intro, is totally clean, and the rest shouldn't have too much more gain than that. A little compression might help. I used some reverb but CHON's tone is generally pretty dry.
Luke DeMuro
Yeah, if you have a Line6 standard amp, try using just crunch with the gain on 3 or 2. That should do it. It's probably a little bit more crunchy than usualy but it works.
Make a tutorial video please
why does no one post a tab of the tapping towards the end? i know the notes i guess but the tab doesnt give you accurate hand positions
need
Thanks for the website recommendation.
Do you remember the patch name for the JMP?
Yes! I think it was "Marshall JMP Golub" uploaded by Marko on the Kemper Rig Exchange. I tweaked it a little but I think the tone was pretty CHON-ish by default.
hey how do you do the hammer on pull off phrase at 0:08? I keep trying but my pull offs get so quiet
+Janosh Sullivan Parts like that are extremely difficult using a clean tone. Honestly, I just practiced it really hard and then used a lot of compression to even out the volume when tracking it. :P
+Luke DeMuro yeh dude I've been working on it non stop for the past week and I finally got it down for the most part! although some compression would help :P You did an AMAZING job with this cover though mad props to you. hopefully soon I'll have more than just the intro to show! thanks a lot for the reply, keep up the good work
It could be your pick ups. Some pick ups are only for rhythm so it cancels out other sounds that aren't plucked hard with a pick or finger.
ah thx i got it with practice. :) beautiful tele btw
Janosh Sullivan If you try it on some humbuckers or emgz it's much easier.

You need to do instagram shorts of you playing
What model tele is that and how much does it cost if u dont mind me asking.btw Awesome cover m8!
Standard Mexican Telecaster, not sure the exact model off hand. I think they go for around 400 but you could probably find it cheaper used. Sounds great and played well when set up well. :) thank you!
Luke DeMuro thanks for the reply mate
Luke DeMuro thanks for the reply mate
need to know how to 2:10
Jonathan Romero he plays it right in front of you. :/
You don't even need to tap it. It's way easier to just play it and you can play it with more expression. It's pretty easy
how many time yoy play the guitar man?
Gonzales yes, how many time yoy play. I want know
Bro that tone is amazing. You did a very good job. Is it difficult to shred in a Tele?
I love playing with my Tele but when I was learning this riff, I had to pull out the 24 fret to get comfortable then I used my Tele. So in conclusion No….but if your like me and need the placebo effect to help you then Yes
Tabs for this song?
I believe they are on Ultimate Guitar!
If anyone wants to know the tone. It's similar to how Clapton get's his woman tone by rolling the pots and turning up the mid and the treble a bit. You have to mess with it.
where you get the tabs? i can´t find it
I found tabs to this on jelly note. Com as well as a few other chon songs
Austin Stephens Thanks for the info :)
Facundo colombino no problem
Gotta make the og track quieter
i need a tele lol
love it! also, are you into pursuing tunes cooperations in Bandhub ;) I routinely can record classical guitar ;) You and I could get together at the website! It'll be insane!
Need less middle finger. JK, that's just what CHON does.
