Hobit door Dremel carving

  • Today I carve a hobbit house, inspired by Lord of the Rings. Im using a dremel 4000, kutzall and dremel burrs. Whats inside the hobbit door well you have to wait and see. This was carved from oak.

    You're having a positive effect on my carving, you do such a good job of showing along with your telling, and I've been adding a lot more texture to my projects. And that is a great Hobbit house facade, makes me want to make a whole house now.

    Love it Matt, going to be magical for a little kid(or big one) to come across! You know you're going to have to carve the creature that lives in there too!

      Haha yes. I need a battery powered dremel to carve a deeper hole in the tree. My wife Julie told me to makeore doors for the kids to find. Hope you had a great summer 👍

    Really cool 👍. Those Spiral blades look pretty sweet, how do they fair compared to the straight ones?

      The straight ones are easier to follow a line but in really small holes I like the spiral ones.
