Niiiice! I'm working on my very first wood spirit. I don't think I have all the right burrs though :( The only really good one I have is a kutzall flame. But it's not the Extreme, it's the regular coarse. Also, I decided to do this on a branch that's approx 4 inch diameter, if that. So I feel it may be a bit more difficult doing it smaller. I just wanted to practice. I sculpt with clay and I know for a fact it's way harder to sculpt tiny things.
My wood spirit looks alright, I'm really picky though. Other ppl say wow, but not me.
Anyway, thanks for video. Gotta find me a small bit like you were using. Looks like a good thing to have.

Hello. I think you fine with that Kutzall burr. Course is the best removing excess fast. Extreme bits I used it once/ not for me/ if that bit jumps fingers gets hurt.
If you wanna do fine details after just get a carbide set. Some of the tips are so tiny perfect for that. Hope this helps. Feel free to send me an email if you have questions. You can find the links to the bits and my email in the description. Thank you 🙏

@@carvingandsuch Thanks for responding! I went ahead and ordered a small small carbide set, and ordered one of the burrs you suggested (i think it was this video lol). The one that is shaped like a christmas tree, a triangle shape. I'm about to order the long tapered kutzall, I think.
Oh, and my tiny wood spirit came out pretty good for my first one. Gonna start the bigger one today.
Also, getting that foot pedal makes a big difference, I think. Just don't forget to keep my foot away from it when changing bits. I learned that pretty quick! lol

@@carvingandsuch oh and btw, I'm glad you told me that about the Extreme burrs, because they are a little spendy for me anyway.

    Love your videos!!! Question:
One of your burrs seems much smaller than the kutzall flame burrs Ive been able to find. Looks like maybe 1/8 x 1/4 " or so. Hoping you can help with a link?
