100% I'm not sure what the shelf life would be like in the can (rusting in the garage) maybe last forever. I don't need to worry about storing it as I'd probably forget it's in he garage :-) I wasn't expecting so much to come out.
I’m not sure why anyone would ever buy this kit. You need to know if there’s a repairable leak in the system first before buying gas/sealer otherwise you’re likely spending £20 for something you don’t need and will probably never need. The other option then is to just buy the gas/hose - but then, what if you do indeed have a leak? You need to buy the sealer for (currently) an additional £26+£3 p&p. The realistic way forward is to take it to a specialist and just let them do a professional re-gas and you’re good to go.
I had my air-conditioning recharged at the mechanics about the year before, but it was only blowing hot air when switching it on this summer. I drove past signs saying regas "from £60" I came across this on amazon, and it has over 600 reviews at 4.4 stars. So I thought I'd give it a time ago. it's worked for me and was easy to do.
Good video, thanks. Nice to have someone this side of the pond doing one on this subject 👍
Thanks for leaving a comment and liking the video. Your welcome just trying to help :-)
Shame to have wasted the gas. With the hose left closed you could have lept that for a future top up!
