Appreciate the video, however the test quality test is invalid. You can't compare a water table with no water equivalent to a downdraft table. A downdraft has space & vacuum verses just no water there is little room & you're getting feedback which is terrible for the torch. The water should never be touching the metal. If the metal is being saturated while being cut then your water level is to high. When cutting gauge material drop that water level down to 2 inches below that metal. There might be a little smoke, but I promise you'll like results. The metal warped while you were cutting it, it won't warp at all if the water lvl & consumables are current. Sounds like you were running to high of amp. Also to high of water level create sulfate build up on your table & within a years time running like that you'll be rebuilding the bridge. Big no no.
