If you do this, be sure to also replace the o-rings (recommended to replace the O-ring every time the fuel pump is taken out) and torque the bolts to 20 INCH/lbs. If you don’t do these 2 things you will end up leaking fuel like I did and others have - engine light won’t come on for this, at least it didn’t for me
in my case it was the AC climate control module. mine was reading full all the time.... i changed te fuel pump and sending units and that didnt work, it was actually the circuits in the AC Module behing (on top) of the radio unit in the dash. 2010 FX35
@@DTUFINOPhotography I ordered the new one from Sacc shops in ebay but still same stuck in full I replaced the fuel pump the sending unit I thought AC amplifier is culprit but no
I've been using a cheaper brand of petrol. after awhile . the gauge was reading wrong. wouldn't hardly drop. from being full [ i refill weekly]. But on the day , time for refill. it drop to haft a tank. But now I've gone back to the brand i use to use, when i got the car. now i notice its starting to drop normally . Maybe the cheaper brand isn't good for the car.
I have cleaned both units on my car and still didn't fix the issue, I replaced both of them like 3x and the problem still didn't go away I am guessing the issue is my gauge cluster or the BCM. Anyone know what else could cause this issue ?

Always open key or push button without applying brake to allow the fuel system to prime... nothing like introducing air into your fuel system... 😢
could you release the pressure by opening the gas cap??
