- ☀️WELCOME! ☀️ BLOCK 1 OF 10: Join me in this easy Quilt Along Sampler Quilt! 🧵 We'll be making 10 different blocks. I am making two of each one, and they will assemble 4 x 5 to make a lap size quilt. 🧵 Today's block is "Thrifty" from Barbara Brackman's encyclopedia, number 1602. When I am finished I will have 20 blocks measuring 12.5" each. FOR ONE OF TODAY'S BLOCK I USED:
COLOR 1 - four 4.5" squares (I used a light fabric)
COLOR 2 - one 4.5" square (I used a dark fabric)
COLOR 2 - one strip 2.5" by 20" (I used white)
COLOR 3 - one strip 2.5" by 20" (I used a medium fabric)
USE SCRAPS! USE ANY COLORS YOU LIKE! MAKE IT FUN! MAKE IT YOUR OWN!
