@@claudiomora1007 Just doubling down on this. The OVA's are really touching, and are like a precious few extra episodes, and the 4 Koma's are like the condensed humor of the show, and have me laughing harder than the bloopers often enough.
Kimblee basically mocked Pride about his weak principles. Imagine having more pride than the literal Pride lol
Which is why Kimblee was like wtf and you had the AUDACITY to be called PRIDE. Nah not on my watch.
Kimblee constantly calls others out for their ignorance or hypocrisy. He may be a psychopathic killer, but at least hes consistent.
Take note, the first to deal damage to Father was a soldier, a human with no alchemy.
Roy lost his sight but then Riza being his eyes and her name is "Hawkeye". Soulmate behavior 😌

Alphonse sacrificing himself for his brother just shows how pure and noble he really is. Also, Greed's realization was all he ever wanted was friends and family is heartwarming.
Greed wants friends like these...😭
remember Greed's first lines in the show? "The name's Greed, and I want to be your friend!"
Also, what Father said to Greed in Ep. 60 "Anything you want, I assure you, I wanted it first."
Bradley was such an amazing, unapologetic A-hole until the very end! He literally be like "yep, I had a kickass life, peace out!"
Pretty much everyone cries with this show, it's impossible not to. Most, if not all of us, are crying with you, and that will be true no matter how many times we watch the show or people reacting to it.
I saw someone bring up once that in a lot of ways, this is Hohenheim’s story just as much as it is Ed and Al’s, because he spent so long wandering the world and when he find found Trisha and had Ed and Al he had everything he wanted, except for the ability to die with them. When he tried to find that, he ended up finding out about the Father’s plan and had to leave his family behind to stop him. Sure he wasn’t always around, but in the end he still did his best to make the best life for his children and sacrificed so much for their well-being.
Also, when we have that scene of Hohenheim looking coldly at Ed and Al before he left when they were babies, in reality he looked cold like that because he was trying not to cry.
"Yes... Yes... NOOO!" was my Bradley/Scar fight reaction too, Bradley's death was my favorite moment. The only thing that he was able to chose in life was his wife, my 2nd favorite for sure.
The fact that Hohenheim calculated the circle of the moon's shadow when the eclipse happens and positioning his philosopher stones right where they need to be to form the perfect transmutation circle to counter Father... We can see where Ed and Al's genius minds come from
One thing to note is that Ed doesn't turn himself into a philosopher stone to kill Pride. He does it to be able to pull Pride out, to save him in a sense. Ed understands the value of life, so he doesn't kill anyone, even if they're trying to kill him. One of the reasons why I love this show so much.
Yep, in most shows the heroic main character never wants to kill people but ends un doing it in some arc, also being selfish about that trait(like assuming there are no consequences or whining about it). Ed doesn't kill anyone and shoulders the consequences upon himself rather than whine and make excuses.
now, because mustang is blind he really needs his HAWKEYE to be with him :) those two dynamic is perfect
Everyone cheering Ed on as he beats the shit out of Father. So impactful.. Chills every time.

Don’t blame anyone for crying during these final eps lol. Such a good story
This story is so good, i love all the character arcs and the development of the characters, its poetic that it is Scar the one who has to "heal" Amestris alchemy after what happened to his people, he is a crucial part of saving all the people... And to think his brother was ahead of all and knew what was happening and was creating a plan to countereffect the influence of the Father over Amestris' alchemy all those years before is mindblowing.
Also, its the first time in the whole show the "Main theme" plays with Al, it has always been Ed's theme, but when he made the ultimate sacrifice to save his brother and give him a chance to fight he also became the Full Metal Alchemist. I cry everytime
cant wait the next two episode.... LETS CRY TOGETHER ALANA!!

I loved so much the "Rain" version that you used on the beginning of the video, this music brings so many memories from the first time I watched the show in 2012. This and "USO" are for sure my favorite songs from SID
theres so many heartfelt goosebump moments in these final episodes...
bradley thanking humans before his death, pride thinking of his "parents" before he was reverted into a mini baby, greed realizing what he wanted, al sacrificing himself, the revelation of scar's brother's research....scar's bro is a hero and scar filled with vengeance risked his life to fulfill that research. brings tears to my eyes!
Making Father look like Ed at his peak was an amazing touch. Incredibly symbolic for Ed to see the literal shadow of his father look like him.
These last 4 episodes are probably my favorites of the series, along with episode 54. What a great finale!
Not only did Al give Ed his arm back, he helped unlock special ability: Berserker Rage mode
I always love seeing people react to episode 60 because it's a *teensy* bit of a cliffhanger, haha. Everyone is dumbfounded at the end.

Man Bradley had a badass death
truly, what a great villain
It's funny how Bradely said there is no god but gets blinded at the perfect moment by the sun. This could be seen as couindance, but as that booked Ed and Al read said, when the moon and the sun comes to gather it creates a perfect being which is god.

And I really like how kimblee respect Edward even being Complete opposites, Unlike the Mustang that denies Kimblee's ideal but ends up having to follow this path of deaths, Edward denies it and actually follows what he believes in even if it is not the best solution
That last wave of the cap from Kimberly was such a badass redeeming moment. The characters in this show are so well written
Edward basically is beating the shit out of god, this will forever be one of the greatest moments in anime history.

Uh, no. Because if her was beating god then how could the god be present in the white void where Al sacrificed his soul for the had of his brother. Also If father absorbed god he could just change the law of Alchemy and become invincible and could have not given Ed his arm back.
The right sentence is Ed was beating the crap out of someone who think he has the power of god under his control.
Also Did you notice that when bradley had pinned down scar and said that God didn't exist ,it was a Godly or miraculous intervention by the Eclipse from where the ray of Light came to distract bradley so that scar could take him down. It was only Luck that saved scar at that movement .In earliar episodes it has been mentioned that bradley will suffer the wrath of god and god's hammer will surely end him .it came directly from eclipse which was mentioned as the entity God himself/herself.
@@kshitizrai4919 Father has a portion of god. He took the god from the worlds portal of truth, but as Truth always says when asked, he is one, he is all, and he is also you. He is a part of everything, and everything is a part of him. (hence why he takes the rough shape and personality of whoever approaches him.) So father does have the power of god, but only the portion of god that was in the earth's gateway.

You can say Father absorbed the some cosmic power but it ain't God . Maybe its some another concept of Alchemy. As we all know Alchemy is vagualy explained in the series. just like Ed gained the power of transmute soul into any object after visiting Truth , Father may have gained this power which he thinks is the power of God .
lol he wasnt beating god. Maybe before he lost all his souls and created a sun in his hand he was close to god. And no one could have beaten that guy.
So apparently it's just a character trait for the Elric family to go "Oh you think you're a god? let me show you why you're wrong" lol

this entire anime is just amazing from beginning to end.. the soundtrack is absolutely beautiful and those final episodes really are tear jerkers lol

Wrath rambling about how there is no God and immediately getting blinded by the sun's rays reflecting off his sword into his Ultimate Eye, which allows an Ishvalan monk to kill him... I mean, bruh. And yes, despite Wrath fighting the most characters out of all Homunculi by far, it simply had to be Scar to kill the embodiment of Wrath at the end of his revenge-based character arc. Chef's kiss.

I'M FINALLY CAUGHT UP!!! I've been binge watching all ur FMB Reaction, and i love all ur theories & speculations, and then knowing some of them right and some of them are just so wrong, like i did. Yes, this anime man. THIS ANIME. The whole trope of calling the main characters name on the climax of the story is sooo cheesy, but good lord they use it so well in this anime.
Your reaction to this anime is like everything i was when i watched this way back when. And obv u can binge it now, but i had to wait weekly back then when it first aired. Even as far as watching it mid-class in college, and found out by my professor and being reprimand it by him. XD
This story is so good i think it worth the amnesia for it to relive the experience again tbh. The japanese VAs act THE HELL out of themselves for this one. I'm glad you're enjoying it as much as i was. I cant wait for ur next ep reaction, i know it'll be another amazing experience for u.
These last 4 episodes are among the best closing episodes in all of anime. Epic, climatic, and satisfying. How an ending should be.

God, Alana is to freaking early in the morning to me to get me this emotional, the last 3 episodes makes me an emotional disaster, I cry a lot everytime I watch them even in this reactions xD too sad this videos finishes next video, but I can't wait for you reaction to the finale! :)
Btw Alphonse is too pure for this world, he's my favorite Elric brother, that doesn't mean that I don't love Ed, because I love him too so much... But i love Al even more if that's even possible

I've seen both FMA's dub and sub, and despite my personal preference for the dub Pride's Japanese VA in his final scene was stellar! I could feel the emotion in every bit of intonation (the voice cracks tho, literally too :P ). Also the animation of Ed forcing his way inside Selim, was beautifully done!
The show's way of giving most of the antagonists a poetic ending is masterful as well:
- In her final moment, Lust kinda lusted at Mustang - taking pleasure in having a man like him finish her off
- Gluttony met his end getting eaten by someone who was hungry.
- Basically being too jealous, Envy commited suicide.
- Sloth exerted himself too much, dying of exhaustion and having to constantly heal (not to mention the irony of him being the fastest Homunculus lol)
- Wrath dying peacefully, pretty much angerless
- Selim setting his pride aside, tried escaping through a simple "lesser being"

Except for the irony of Wrath‘s peaceful death itself, I also like the „how“:
Blinded by the sun, the star in the sky, sky being the place that in German shares the word for heaven (Himmel), so technically where God is located. And what did Wrath tell the high priest of Ishvala many episodes ago „use you own hands, not God’s“ (after the priest said, Wrath would be hot be the Hammer of God)

They are, and the Liore events were actually the first chapter of the Manga, (Ep 1 is anime-original, and Ep 2 was a later flashback) so it's a First Boss/Last Boss callback, so to speak.

The way Edward reacts to Al sacrificing himself is kinda the same when Scar os about to kill Ed in their first fight.

Brotherhood has the best ending compared to the 2003 series but the 2003 series had a better start. I remember them showing how installing Ed's automail requires the each nerve to be connected (and the pain was shown to be excruciating). Another thing I love about anime is when the main character gain so much acknowledgement, that people call out to him/her during the last fight. It really brings out the emotions. OMG I LOVE ANIME !!!
