Anyone who disliked this HELPFUL health benefit video is living a sad life. This helps your dog 100% and hes teaching you how to support them without further injuring or creating more pain.
Thanks for watching!
There's 63 idiots out there somewhere.
Big Pharma trolls disliked this video, Let's Go Brandon!
Actually those are accidental dislikes. You tube should place it somewhere else with a conformation for disliking.
My dog was dx with hip dysplasia recently and suddenly developed serious problems with walking. Seeing her like this is heartbreaking but I’m so glad to have found your video and will try the massages and movements today. I’d previously massaged her and it helped but wasn’t sure if I’m doing it right. Thanks 😊
I love that Pippy is accurately demonstrating what massage therapy on doggies really looks like. (At least my doggies).
Great video. I just love Pippy! She is a doll!
😅
I watch this vet all the time and I trust him.
Dr. Andrew is the Best!!! We all 🌎 love him
God bless him ❤️
This dog is a gem
Hi i came to this video this year 2023 as i just got new puppy for the first time and she is having the same issue i am relieved to see this video I immediately did the massage and will continue it please pray for my puppy her name is angel 🙏🙏 and since she came into my life i am happy
I was watching this and had the phone propped against my dog’s belly while giving her a massage. Every time I stopped to make a ball of undercoat fur to the side for half a second, she would look up at me upset that I stopped. My dog is also very good motivated and takes her joint vitamins without issues. Thank you so much for this video. I’m a former massage therapist and this made me fall in love with the practice again. I may prefer to provide massage therapy for animal vs people these days. Pippy sure is peppy! 😆🥰
5:42 the way pipi responds to her name being uttered. GOLD
I just did these massages with my baby girl (12 year old min pin) who has terrible hip dysplasia and can hardly walk. She loved it! Thank you so much!
I like this vet. He seems so kind to animals. And seems to have a great attitude towards people. I give
This vet 2 thumbs 👍👍 up. You’re alright doc. 👍👍🇺🇸
Thanks
You probably dont give a shit but if you are stoned like me during the covid times then you can stream all the latest series on instaflixxer. Have been binge watching with my girlfriend recently xD
@Cayson Morgan definitely, I have been using Instaflixxer for years myself =)
Pippy stole the show!
Came across this video, I have a 7-year-old German Shephard that I adopted 2 years ago. He was 155lbs at the time, with dieting and exercising we were able to bring him down to 133 lbs in a year. Just recently he started to cry and yelp after laying down too long. He also has a narrow stance, we did these movements to loosen him up some, not only did he enjoy it but immediately wanted to play once I was finished. Thanks!
That's great!
Would this be done on a dog with hip dysplasia that walls and runs around?
Very informative. Loved how the vet included his pet Pippy and how patient he was with her being playful like a puppy lol
Thank you
Thank you for stepping out and showing us this approach.
Great explaining everything. You are very easy to listen to.
You are my favorite vet. I follow your videos and find them so helpful.
Dexter loved this little hip and leg massage. I haven’t been able to get this close to him before. Thanks so much for the advice

This is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen, I just love seeing Pippy actively trying to derail his video haha

Thank you so much for your help. I look forward to implementing these tips in attempt to ease my 12-year-old Golden Retriever’s pain. I’ve never cared for the NSAIDS route and I appreciate your more natural approach. A million thank yous!
Very informative video. I have recently noticed my Lab/shep mix not wanting to get up right away in the mornings and yesterday getting on the couch seemed difficult. I suspect she may have some hip issues. We have her annual appointment next week. But this info is something I can use now and feel it will benefit her regardless of what's going on. Thanks for the info and will be watch your videos this weekend 😊
What a top class Vet.
Thank you so much ❤️🙏🏼for uploading this knowledgeable video it is really helpful ❤️lots of lots of love ❤️
Thank you so much Dr J! My beloved hound/lab just started having problems with his hip and I truly appreciate a holistic approach. I was already giving him turmeric and CBD, but now I will add in the chondroitin supplement, boswellia and the ROM, massage & acupressure.
From 5 yrs ago, and as always, extremely helpful. THANK YOU. ❤🐕🐾

Haha Pippy is ADORABLE and hysterical in this video. Very helpful too! Thank you so much!! ❤️
First off just want to say a huge thanks for your excellent videos, they are so helpful. This one in particular will really benefit my 2 yr old labradoodle with hip dysplasia. She is on everything you mentioned except I have been making turmeric golden paste. My question is would curcumin be more effective than the paste? Many thanks
Thank you so so much!!
Thanks for this vlog! Good to know more. Could you also please vlog about Intervertebral disk disease in your future vlog please. Thanks.
great information
Thanks so much!
Showing us how to message the joint and leg really helps. I wasn't doing a very good job. I use acupressure message on my self so this is good to know how to proceed with my dog. The other things you mentioned I do also but the dosages are too low so I have to up those percentages up quite a bit. My problem is my dog is VERY picky and can pick up the scent of things even when I bury it in her favorite foods! Makes it hard to get them down her.
Hello doctor , I am so thankful to you I have no words to express my feelings !
My dog leo a Labrador 12 years old has got hip dysplasia and bad arthritis
The doctor had given up on him and asked me to put him down . This happened in September 2021 , I watched your videos my Freind recommended and started following it.
And now as of today 20 th December 2021 My dog is not in pain anymore and is moving around going about his daily business and even the vet was surprised to see this !!
He isn’t going for long walks but he seems to be happy and willing to play although he gets tired fast .
My prayers and blessings are with you and your good work !! Thank you so much 🙏 🙏
Doctor I wanted to ask you that is it ok if I make him climb up the stairs with a little hand support from back once in a day .
Please please do reply I don’t know what to do there are so many different views , l thought you would be the perfect person to reply since following you has done wonders for my dog .
I hope you still access this profile! Which exact videos did you watch? And what exactly was everything you did that helped him?? What the vet gave you and at home!
Great information! Thank you very much
You're very much welcome!
Thank you
Great video ,there should be more vets like you ,thank you for this !
Thanks for watching! Hope the video helped.

Thank you so much for sharing this information with us. My soon to be 12 year old Labrador is just beginning to have hip dysplasia. I came here to learn how to massage Henry. I can't wait to try your techniques on him tomorrow. I'd like to know how much food you recommend for him. He currently is on Victor Ultra High Performance, but I think it's putting weight on. I want to get him to a healthier weight so I will hopefully have him with me for many more years 🙏 thank you 😊
Absolutely love your dog!
Me too:)
Excellent video. Thanks for sharing your wisdom. I'd love to see an accompanying video on exercises to help strengthen the muscles/hip for dogs with this condition. Thank you.

:-)
Dr. Jones....Great Video! Very informative. I had a question...I do have my German Sheperd/Shar Pei Mix on Dausaquin...still on the initial dosage for six weeks will then drop to the maintenance dose thereafter. Giving this to him to help with what we believe to be minor hip dysplasia. Because this is a supplement do i at some point need to give him a break from taking it? If so, how long and when should this happen? Thanks
This is incredibly helpful. Thank you so much for sharing natural, alternative ways to heal dogs - your videos show that you value dogs as the deeply sentient and emotional beings that they are, not simply as animal patients. Pippie stole the show. :) Will try these hip exercises on our dog. Thanks a lot again for the wonderful work you do with speechless four-legged angels. God Bless.
Welcome and Thanks
Good video, I love Pippi is so cute
Good tips Thanks
Welcome
Thanks you for this video hope its help my puppy shes crying loud because of pain i wanna try this thank you so much
Dr Andrew thank you for another helping video!! I would like to know if its a good idea to give glucosamine chondroitin supplements to my dogs to prevent pain in the future since one of them was in a very bad accident 4 years ago were he broke his hind leg and pelvis in three places and my other dog is paralized from the middle of her spine and down which makes her put a lot of pressure on her front legs. Both of them seem fine now but I am asking if its a good idea to start giving them these supplements as a prevention for the future. Also are your supplements available in europe? Thank you! :-)
Pippy definitely needs her own YT channel..she's such a genuine, believable prop, lol..I totally have laughter tears rolling down my cheeks..thanks for the great info..I just noticed my 9yo yellow lab boy starting to kinda slip with his rear left leg when playin Frisbee..is this exercise bad for him? He doesn't appear to be in any pain..and, is swimming good therapy? Thx Dr J💜
hi....im not good in english, but as soon as my 5yr old malshih got a hip sprain (i think), at first, it was really hard to touch the injured area as she will shout because of the pain, but slowly, i did the massage shown and relaxed the shivering muscles of the hind legs....then i gently did a little stretchings...the shivering stopped....great help here Doc..thanks for this wonderful video...
Thank You Dr. Andrew!!! Could you tell me how much turmeric I can put in my dog's food. (In teaspoons) She's 40 lbs. Thank you. Blessing's💝
Thank you for the video. I will try some of the herbs and oils.
Welcome
THANK YOU SO MUCH for creating this channel! Finally, REAL help for our pets!❤
Would all of this be safe for cats also?
My 18 month old cat has arthritis from mid back through hip. The other has hip dysplasia.
We have sound buttons that we record words on, So
He actually "asks" me to "help" "ouch". The he comes and rolls over for me to massage him. I didn't know where he hurt. He showed me by pulling his legs up so I would massage his glutes. I went to 2 different veterinarians before they believed him and found it in an x-ray. 🤦🏼♀️
I got the buttons so that my pets could let me know if they are sick or in pain.
Please let me know if these supplements are all safe for cats. Thank you.
Fantastic information, going out now to get recommended herbs.
Thank you.
Pippy is cracking me up! Love this video
Pippi is not cooperating.... LOL.
So cute. That’s the way it really is at home too....I chase my dogs around to heal them...😂

@@rakeshgoli8444 hey bro u have any solution for this problem ?
Thank you very helpful as always...also very entertaining with Pippys antics😂😂😂🐾🐾
Ps do you have a video or advice on elbow dysplasia on a rottweiler?
The massage techniques are definitely something I will try, thank you so much!
I have 2 questions. 1) can all of these techniques be used daily? I recall only the GP29 and GP30 release having a cadence of 1-2x daily being mentioned. 2) what is the ideal walking volume for a dog with hip issues? My 4yo golden lab x great pyrenees developed a limp this past year that comes and goes but mostly after exercise. X rays are quite expensive ($450-$700 is what I've been quoted) but we're assuming hip dysplasia based on her breed. I've read that high volume low intensity walks are best but I'm hoping you can confirm or deny.
Thank you!
Appreciate you sharing this information. I currently use Progility Max and it has helped tremendously. I will add the flax oil going forward. My concern is I can hear her hip popping while she walks now. Any advice?
Thank you! SOOOO much♥️🐾🐾♥️ I’m have hip X-rays on my pit bull 😢 I pray she’s okay with good news , if not I just learned a lot on your video some I already know & some was new Thank You!
Hope it was helpful!

You're welcome! Thank you for watching. :-)
My dog (12 years old border collie female) was diagnosed with arthritis in her hips 6.5 years ago. Shas been on Rejuvenate since and then other prescription for pain (I cant remember which one) as needed. It helped a lot until it was not enough. Then she has been on Galliprant daily for over a year, to treat her arthritis pain. The Galliprant was not enough anymore, so in June we did new X-Rays and the doctor added Gabapentin to her daily pain control prescription. I have not notice a difference, her hips often seem stiff after a long walk or longish (I am doing shorter ones) or time lying down. Now she is also limping with her front legs. The results came back with severe hip dyspepsia and some liver levels being a bit higher than we would want. She is overweight as a result of her lesser activity, and even though I have her on Royal Canine Satiety for over a year, giving her a cup less than suggested, and that she has always skipped meals, she only lost like 3 pounds. I started using CBD oil last week and has been magical for her pain, and I wan to add the other things you suggest here.. I wonder if I should go all natural and get rid of the pain prescriptions. I been massaging her, and made an appointment for water therapy, but they wont be able to evaluate her until Sept 1.
Thank you so much. I can not describe how much this means to me. My dog got diagnosed yesterday and I have been lost.
There's mixed feelings on a new drug that came out but I got my dog on Librela for osteoarthritis and it has helped him. He's still not perfect but he's back to playing again in the evenings and it has helped him walk a little better too. We're still at the end of his life though (he will be 13) but trying to let him live his best life without pain as long as I can. It truly sucks to go through this but hang in there!!! Good luck!
