Here's five: - If a butterfly lands on the tip of a deku stick, it transforms into a fairy. There's something similar that happens with butterflies in SM64. - As adult Link, it's possible to steal the fisherman's hat if you angle a cast correctly. - Faroe's Wind can't be used outside of dungeons, but it can warp you between two different dungeons. - In Hyrule Field at night, skullchildren won't spawn if you remain on the roads. - There's a dying guard in the Castle Town alley during a very specific point in the main story. He provides some exposition on Gannondorf's takeover.
I found out about rolling between Ganons legs entirely by accident as a kid. I ran out of magic and figured that meant i couldn't hurt him anymore, so i jokingly ran at him to attack and when i rolled between his legs I was so hyped.
and thats when he went from an intimidating behemoth to a complete joke of a final boss. ...Unless he had a monster-sized... ahem *appendage* down there and rolling would make it get smacked on your face.
Another Fun Fact, if you somehow obtain around i think it was 30 to 35 Hearts in the 3DS Version and collect one more Heart, the Game will crash if the Bottom Screen changes in any way.
For years I knew jumping of the drawbridge chain got me a red rupee but it wasn’t till a few years back did I learn that if I wait for the bridge to raise that I could get THREE red rupees
I had the same discovery back in the day! I just thought it was a neat trick that jumping off gave you some rupees but it was just because we were jumping to invisible rupees we were supposed to grab by walking over it. I love this game, it's so full of random little things that everyone finds on their own terms!
@@EonAegis I was aware of most of these facts but there were still some new ones (mainly the Moblins being stunned by the boomerang). While MM is my fave, OoT is the one I’ve played/beaten the most (not including the remake it’s probs around 6-8 playthroughs in my life)
The reason why young link wields the mastersword like that is probably because they had a yl animation for big sword left and gave him the mastersword for the pulling animation. He pulls it, when he attacks.
I've known about most of these, but I had no idea that the Gerudo that wears whatever clothes Link is wearing (which I think was confirmed to be unintentional) wears whatever color gauntlets you are wearing, especially since, doesn't she disappear once you leave the hideout after talking to her?
She does! You can only see this without cheat codes/save editing if you go get the gauntlets first, and then go get the card. Which is possible, but a major hassle to do and you have to use glitches/unintended movement for it.
@@SonicJrandSarah You can megaflip over the Gerudo fence as Young Link (Glitch), bomb hover (glitch) or cucco jump past the fence as Young Link (unintended movement) From there, you can sidehop out of bounds from the Gerudo Watchtower, then jump back in bounds. Finally, backwalk across the quicksand if you're there as Young Link :)
I remembered a few more - If you jump in the air, the bombchu explode instantly. Making it a great option for quick bombs in any location - Deku nuts also trigger the explosion of bombchus - Armos Knight enemies lose their defense if you use a deku nut to paralyze them. So, even the Kokiri sword can land a deadly blow - Spin Attack and Charged Spin Attack are OHK on jellyfish, bari and tailpasaran enemies (which are found in the third dungeon) without hurting Link - Rolling on the ground has invincibility and "invisibility" frames. So you can roll towards the mini boss Bigocto and be thrown away without taking damage, making him always turn his vulnerable back to you. There is no need to paralyze him with a boomerang and just land a jump attack with a Deku Stick for a very quick fight!
The spinattack trick is for me the most helpful 💪 And I didn't know that the A Wing goes down so fast...funny to see 😂 Also the Marlon Song playing by the cow is helpful, too 👍 Thank you 🙏
Dark Link is also vulnerable to Deku Nuts. He does try to dodge, but you can throw another to catch him at the end of the backflip. Makes him a total joke.
Here's some. Dark Link is weak to arrows to the face at close range. Fire Dancers take major damage from the Master Sword, even more than from the Big Goron's Sword. Poes in the forest temple can be forced to invisible/revisible with deku nuts. The Water Temple's boss can be hookshot repeatedly and pulled to a corner for a quick and easy kill. Iron Knuckles hit too hard? Throw bombs at them! Gibdos, the wrapped versions of redeads are blind. They track my link's speed. If you walk near them, they won't bother with you. The Redeads in town are actually different from every other redead in the game. They scream, but don't stun you.
I knew about 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 13 and 15 Oh but here's one more fact you probably didn't know... using Nayru's Love will also prevent Wallmasters from grabbing you!
One of my favourite things about the Boss battles where you can stun lock them is when you come back after years of playing this way and randomly decide to complete the boss the intended way. Fighting Ganon's beast form is so satisfying when using the light arrows to blind him. It feels truly like a young adult defeating a truly evil king.
First I knew every one of these and second you could actually defeat dark link without even taking any damage you just need some magic dins fire and some green potion just in case
Two other facts: If you kill any monter with a light arrow, it gives you a Purple Rupee worth 50 Rupees. Deku Shield also protect you from falling rocks at the Death Mountain, the rocks fall above your head but a 50 cm wooden shield put in front of you is enough to protect you... sure why not?
- Giant's Knife never breaks if you do spin attacks or ISG - You can activate "Infinite Lens of Truth" by performing a quick spin attack and then the Lens. The magic bar will stop flashing, symbolizing that you can cast spells or magic arrows simultaneously with the Lens - You can become "invisible" to the enemies Redead and Gibdo by performing several rolling attacks in their direction, reaching even their backs and thus reducing their threat - Usually you can't look up and see the Wallmaster enemy coming from the ceiling. However, if you activate a weapon that puts the camera in first person and also keep holding the Z button at the same time, you will be able to see this terrible threat coming if you look at the ceiling 😮 - Din's Fire and Fire Arrows are OHK on aquatic creatures like the ones in the Water Temple. And Ice arrows are OP on Blue Tektite and Blade Traps!
@@ZPokemonfanAyeah! Nayru's Live is op. I get sad when the mod removes this power or when players forget to use it! I'll organize some icebergs about this power later🥳
The New Game+ Glitch, it works with over Items aswell, just don't try it with either Boots on B, as it will freeze the Game if either Boots' Effect is triggered.
@@EonAegis i tried to begin with a Bottle on B once, i just couldn't managed to escape the Forrest, since i normally use a Navi Dive or the Hammer to escape.
@@EonAegis i'm not sure why, but i never managed to escape with the Deku Stick, but always get it with a Sword, most likely because the swinging Animation is different with the Sticks than the Swords, but it could also just be that my Timing is just off with Sticks.
Probably! I've had to leave with the stick a couple of times on N64 randos so I know it's possible there. I do have to position myself on the stone part whenever I do because I usually hit something and break it otherwise, which doesn't happen with the sword for me :')
Sun's Song on ReDeads does NOT last forever, actually. It just has a long timer, but it IS possible for you to stun one this way early enough into a room for it to run out before you finish your business in that room. Also I did know about the Gerudo Tunic thing, even the flashing bomb one, but I did NOT know about the Gauntlets/Held Item thing! Everything else I did know, much of it, including the flashing bomb Gerudo effect, courtesy of Looygi Bros.!
Forever wasn't meant literally 😅 but yeah, the Gerudo one is fun to explore! If you have gauntlets, she changes into bomb/tunic in first person view, because the gauntlets despawn. It doesn't appear to be intentional behaviour either considering it's patched in some versions (but left unchecked in others... It's so weird)
I was expecting to not learn anything knew but I didn't know about boomeranging moblins making them attack and didn't know about the 3DS master sword glitch
