- Delve into the shadows for an exclusive look at For Honor’s new Hero, the Ocelotl, launching July 27. Learn more about his unique abilities during the Warrior’s Den livestream reveal on July 20 at twitch.tv/forhonorgame at 12pm EST. From July 27 to August 3, For Honor will be free on PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Connect. Free Week players will have full access to the Standard Edition of For Honor, and those who want to keep battling after the free period will be able to carry on their progression and heroes to the full game once purchased.

That’s due to the games initial design only focusing on knights, Vikings, and Samurai. If they ever had a sequel it would be cool if a new faction would come out every 6 months with 4 heroes related tot shy faction, ie ancient Greeks, middle eastern warriors, native warriors, Roman’s, knights, etc.

Ocelotl, meaning Jaguar, or Jaguar tooth. known as legendary warriors of the Aztec empire. They would blow on their screaming horns to intimidate opponents in the jungle. Bearing obsidian clubs such as the macuahuitl, they could lacerate enemies with little effort. Known mostly for capturing opponents for later sacrifices, they were feared all throughout Central America as elites. Behold the Jaguar Warrior.

@@berniep1405 the Nahua cities and kingdoms wher for the most part located in central Mexico their are forest but no jungles and plenty of open space and landscapes and mountains, the maya themselves dint build their cities in mids of jungles rather in large open spaces with some jungles nearby and would have had battles in open space just like in Europe and Asia, the idea of gorilla warfare was rare in Mesoamerica it dint become a thing amongs the maya until a few decades after the conquest and whas never a thing fo the Nahua,mixtec,otomi,purepecha etc

I've been thinking that there needed to be some Mexica/Mayan heroes for years, their warrior cultures, weapons, and aesthetics would fit perfectly into the game. Now it's finally happening!!
This representation in particular is Aztec not Mayan. Easy to get confused but they are not the same culture

Aztec elite jaguar warrior and Mayan elite jaguar warrior are very alike but just in the fact they use jaguar skin.

In the For Honor storyline they were not conquered, but slaughtered and robbed, they got him as a Trophy, so his ambitions are just revenge

It would be great to enter the entire faction, Mexica, Tarascan, Chichimeca, Mayan warriors and if possible Incas and Mapuches, or North Americans such as Lakotas, Comanches, Xiux and so on.

The max you can get is medjay but its possible we get one now, since we got the outlanders. It has to be highly requested. Its possible we get a native american too. So we may get shaka zulu in the future

French Musketeer would be kind of cool. Spartan would be cool. Native American Warrior could be interesting. Zulu Warriors really haven't been seen. There are so many possibilities.

@@williewilson2250 Well, the obsidian swords the aztec fighters wielded were known to be deadly. If the opponent wasn't killed on the spot, the bleeding will get them eventually.
