love how ubisoft makes complex hero movesets and half of the playerbase just spam lights anyways
I’m ngl I had to start cause I was just getting fucking light spammed, could barely get a hit in when I try to mix heavy’s and shit in 😭
No one spams lights unless you’re really low repped

@@googlymoogly3009 I'm putting in my 2 cents as an Xbox player (halo 5 edition xbox one) i can light parry on reaction amd prediction pretty reliably, you just have to practice practice practice. I feel like with their recent changes older consoles can still compete

@AustralianDunmaghlasEnjoyer Block or not. People don't learn and will still try to light spam. Had a guy try that and even after my 3rd light parry (only attack he threw) he still tried to light spam me. Spammed "wow" and quit. Like bro light spam will only get you so far.
Im a noob so I light spam anyways. Its my only chance of winning. I dont get much time to practice. 😔💀

Executioner 2nd feat makes Ocelotl’s default Y input execution give you like all of your health back. I love it.
His opener bash is by far the worst bash in the entire game now

@@moroblizniak4457 it’s a 500 ms bash that does 9 damage, (2 hits in total which feeds more revenge), you can’t chain on miss, is gb vulnerable quite often and it no longer chains into his finisher bash unless you don’t light after hitting his bash which means you have no guaranteed damage if you go that route

@@KSO21no it doesn't feed revenge, or it sometimes does and sometimes doesn't, ocelotl has got funny revenge feeding mechanic, I just got guard broken by a ocelotl while being ganked and it gave barely any revenge, it was as much as if I got hit by his neutral light.
@@KSO21also his bash does 18 damage.
If you can play medjay, berserker, or any bash mixup or infinite chain character you can learn him in seconds
I'm glad that this Aztec character is pretty useful in battle. 🐆
Even though if there are some questionable things like the limited hunter stance
the papyrus material looks like actual bone when used on the skull helmet

Wear a iron helmet and then tell someone to hit you with a bat, bet you’ll be dizzy enough to get lethally stabbed by a spear. Not that hard to grasp lol

I was hoping so, i didnt know if it would be Aztec or Mayan or a mix of both. I just knew it'd be Mesoamerican.
I would still like a Mayan hero just call him "Holcan" (Warrior in Yucatec) or "Buluc" (Maya War god Buluc Chabtan)

He's a Hybrid too though? Ganking is his specialty like mix-ups are centurion's, but he's still classed as a Hybrid because he acts partly like an assassin.

Played 2 different players, one I tried 3 sets, could not find anything that wasn't safe as everloving hell, and he's faster than everyone I play, by a lot.

I was in a match recently, a warden killed me and I spawned back in with 25 hp (roughly). I got annoyed and 100-0'd him in 4 seconds flat. No fucking mercy.
On the thumbnail I fr thought the bottom left was ronald McDonald for a sec. Had to scroll back up to confirm.

No matter what u say this hero has damn near infinite stamina can light spam with bashes and broken feats
How can you spam feats with a hero that by default only has one active feat?
Unless you play him, no, he does not have infinite stamina, unless he has the tier 1 stamina feat, which for anyone is extremely good. As for his tier four, that takes a couple minutes to recharge.
For his unique tier 1, yes it's scary, but ocelotl still needs to, idk, kill you, and that can be tough in a variety of ways.
@@kingLorshi I said “ broken feats” and spammed lights and bashes and he does have over enough in his kit to kill you a variety of ways and his stamina drain is insanely low compared to other heroes plus why does he need hyper armor in my own opinion he’s beyond broken not hard to fight or kill but definitely annoying bc Ubisoft can take time to make a character show y’all how it’s suppose to played but the community will just run the character into the dirty with the cheesiest tactics and call it skill and he caters to them perfectly
@@tyshon2002 "he's not not hard to fight or kill but he's broken" what kind of bullshit take is that? You'd have TOO MUCH trouble killing him if that was the case.
I'll break it down for you.
stamina drain: low because you're meant to Play him like a Rush down assassin, Fast and aggressive with lots of mix-ups.
Hyper armor: His zone is slow. Without it you could just poke him out of the zone.
Lightspam and overbashing: Don't blame Ocelotl for the guy playing him being an unga bunga moron. Orochi is no better in that regard.
His feats:
Feat 1: can be countered by Just executing him, The regen is slow and doesn't do anything but help you reposition him quickly. If you respawn immediately, you come back with fuck-all health and have to sit on a healing zone or point for Regen.
Feat 2: Stay grouped up and the debuff isn't an issue. If you wanna blame your team for not wanting to, Tough shit. That's a Team play problem, not a problem with Ocelotl
Feat 3: Literally countered by not being a noob and dying to him. He should be "Not hard to fight or kill" like you said so you have no excuse not to be able to handle this one.
4th feat: Countered by Your dodge button or prior's bulwark counter. Try being perceptive once in a while. "But we were ganking and he caught me off guard-" Tough shit. That's the name of the game. don't let him catch you unaware if you don't want to get hit by his 4th. He's an ambusher, remember?

So at this point in For Honor, which don’t take 0 skill. Why is it that every single hero apparently takes no skill, I’ve seen every hero called easy and lame. Can we settle on some heroes please. Anyways Ocelotls gonna get nerfed again eventually because the community asks for it and then we’ll all complain about said nerf

Why do you people want a spartan so badly? We already have Centurion and Valkyrie, one has the look, Both have the moves, no Fucking point bringing a spartan.

@@viviengrandjean7926 Most Spartans use a spear and shield. Valk already has those. What's left to go with, Some variety of sword? Centurion has a gladius already, and the armor a spartan would usually be seen in. Both already kick, bash, and do jumping stabs.
Sword and shield? Okay, how is he gonna fight any different from prior or Warlord? Even if you give him just a big spear his moveset is probably gonna use a lot of bashing and stabbing like Nobushi and Valkyrie but just with a different animation for the same move.
Easy way to imagine something different from cent or valk? Yet you chose not to follow up with anything. Give me an example for evidence if you're going to give me a counterargument.
@@MementoMori7777 first when i say talking inspiration of hoplite warriore it was not for nothing, Big Shield, Big Spears, Armor like a lamellaire ( not realy sur of how we Say it in english) for gameplay ? Well no kick since the Shield would be simpli as Big as the charactere ( or for being exact, a Shield tall as the shoulder ) you tell me that either way he would look like black prior, or conqueror, or cent, or valk, i am not telling you there would not be any similitude, but still there would be différence. For returning about Spartan/hoplite, the things would be to make a gameplay inspired by the way the greeks warriores maked War, slow, tanking, nothing is extra New probably.
And PLEASE chill dude, it is not enough important, i personaly think that there is différence between two character who share similitudes and just a copie
@@MementoMori7777 also there is something you did not talk about, having a similar move, who feel deferent, i mean with all the dodge attack some are realy similar and other do not have the same utility
This hero in particular gets on my nerves for the simple face that he has a tracking unblockable attack what tf am i supposed to do no indicator from any direction and i can't dodge or parry who thought that was a good idea seriously
go into training maybe and try an recreate that situation with a friend or ai and see what works.
Don't have this issue, so like the guy above me said, maybe try and see what works in training or customs if you play with people.
