Best EMBN video! All about enjoying an e-bike for what it is! No comparisons, no number crunching, just out and about having an adventure!! Keep up the good work guys!!!
Love the vid.. and the very good point made that ebikes enable bigger, longer, more fun adventures. Many people still don't 'get it'... saying 'it's cheating..' etc. Those people are missing the point!
Really superb video, loved the trails with a great night out in the middle. Music pretty class as well, starts off with some kind off Inspiral Carpets meets Tarantino mix and ends with a 90s Hacienda come down. Great company great trails great times :-)
loved this video ! this is my kind of mountain biking , im a guide in mid wales had to change to an Ebike last year after being diagnosed with COPD !! been riding for 30 plus years never smoked etc but the Ebike has helped my lungs loads in that you don't go into oxygen debt and do more damage etc its a brilliant bike the Levo im changing my routes to include big climbs that you could only walk up before !! love the channel keeps getting better !
@@christopherdavies2980 Hi Christopher. I was directed to this video by Steve after I asked EMBN places to ride when I visit Wales in Sept 2019. This sort of adventure riding is what I am looking to do between family visits. As I really don't known the local areas a guide would be great :) and would likely save me wasting time hunting out places on my own. If you wouldn't mind flicking your contact details to me, I can plan something with you. Plenty of time so no rush. Ta Derek
@@derekharper6031 hi really nice to hear from you heres my number 07951535522 ring me anytime or text and ill ring you back , ill look forward to chatting with you cheers Chris
What an EPIC e-Trip Steve! GREAT you guys can do that in at least the UK! In the U.S., federal regulations prohibit eMTBs from riding on federal lands (National Parks, National Forests, etc.) anywhere motorized vehicles CANNOT go. We always say check with your local BLN (land management) for the most up-to-date access and/or restrictions. PeopleforBikes.com is a GREAT resource for eMTB access in all the state's and beyond! It's slowly starting to loosen up though, as I hear parts of Mammoth Mountain (CA) WILL allow eMTBs! As always, Clint The Retired & eBike Guy
Great vid Steve. Get and do the 'Talgarth Black' or otherwise known as the 'Black Mountains Blitz' if haven't done already. Did it a few weeks ago, although not on an E Bike. 55km of the most beautiful scenery ever.
Greetings from Belgium! Got my emtb trek powerfly 9.7 for 2 weeks now. It's my thirst experience with mtb ever and I directly went for the "e" option and I love it! And looking at your vids gives me even more ambition to learn using this fabulously bike. You are doing great job and I might even go to Scotland next year and rent a bike for a day or two.
Great show, Steve and crew! Been following y'all from the start. Adventure biking is what it is all about. Now we need to get you exploring farther from home. How about a trip to Alaska, the birthplace of Fat Bikes?
You know, we frenchmen and you englishmen, we've been bickering around for a verrryyy long time, but I have to say that you have a really beautiful country.
i've been thinking bout doing the via alpina, especially the slovenian part, on my mtb. might be something for you guys aswell... btw, one of the best videos on this channel so far!
Great adventure guys. Looks like you all had some fun in Wales. Love the scenery. Probably one of the best videos yet. Are you doing more? What about coming to subscribers favourite routes for e bikes so we can show you around.
Hi Sreve, we all have our favourite rides in our regions and we could take you on them so you can explore the areas we love and open the knowledge of the country to the 🌎.
Great video Steve...love this sort of adventure riding with mates. I am thinking I will need to do some mud riding practice as the conditions there look completely opposite to the trails I ride here on the west coast of Oz. (dry, hot and surface like marbles) its called pea gravel for a good reason :). Thinking I will need to buy myself an embn winter jacket...do you guys do a range of thermal underwear too as it looks $ cold there ;)
Great ride guys.......a quick question? How many collective pedal strikes did you all have my haibike all mountain 7 has been I nightmare and the levo before that !!! However just changed the crank arms to a 150 instead of the 175 standard believe me it’s a game changer just bean round Cannock not one strike 😄😄😄😄😄 cheers Richard Cutts Nottingham
Great video, but we need to know the details! How far did you travel on day one with one charge? Did you fully charge it for the next day, did you get in some small charges along the way? I would like to do something like this, but want to know the feasibility.
GMBN & EMBN Must upload 4k videos! its 2020, cmon guys!! huge difference!!! 4K PLEASE Every time I want to hear a good review I come here, but when I want to see a good quality image there are others electric mountain bikes 4K channels out there!
This is exactly why I own an ebike..extended range, I work harder over longer hours than I did on my standard mtb. I would never have made it up here on my pedal only. i.imgur.com/nmpyoFT.jpg
It's a good video, but I do get the feeling that people selling e-bikes are happy to talk about adventure, performance etc. all day, but get very discreet when it comes to "range". A bit like the people selling time share holiday schemes :) they talk about "holidays" and "lifestyle" forever, but keep it short and vague when it comes to cost.
It would still be do-able but you'd have to manage your speed, back off much more and you'd be generally much more fatigued throughout the course of the trip from having to work harder on the bike
@@embn Thought so... I'm buying an eMTB and the price tag for full suspension is way out of my wallet possibilities at the moment, so I thought of getting a hardtail. What I really want to do is doing adventures, but I definitely won't go to super hard single tracks for the time being, I'm not a good mountain biker
@@embn (also, I appreaciate the answer! can I get this chance to say you've got a great channel, but also more women on the channel and more adventure related stuff is also appreciated? I love it anyway, though!)
Get in that water ya wimps! Still you must be well ‘ard in them shorts and your love of sheep - as clearly no worries about catching Lyme Disease from ticks! Keep checking your legs for the next week 😏😂

Thanks Quattro5081!
Emtb are the best thing to ever happen.
Nothing short of just a brilliant video Steve you’ve nailed it great stuff and congratulations to you and your team.
Love the guitar tune at the bothie guys part of the film that just pulls you in for more crazy single track👌👌💚💚💚
fantastic place, fantastic weather, fantastic music to go with fantastic bikes guys. love Wales 👍😁💝🤪😂
Absolutely great video! I feel like I'm watching bike top gear💪
Brilliant adventure. These riding adventures are what makes the channel for me. Please do more of them when you can...
This channel is best when you're not trying to sell us something...

Yes more E-trips !
Love it, more of this kind of emtb adventures are greatly appreciated guys.
Brilliant, this is what mountain biking is all about, more video's like this please.
This was a great video. I'm convinced, I ordered an E-bike 10 minutes ago.
That is an EPIC playground... marvelous scenery... 👍👍👍👍

Fantastic film Steve, more of these please. Very inspirational, keep them coming.
Weather is perfect right now in the uk, and daylight up to 10pm, can't ask for much more...
This one of the best you`ve ever released. I would like to see more of these kind of adventure riding in 2020
Rode St James Cycle Trail in Hanmer Spring New Zealand lastweek. 65km of everything. River crossing and no phone signal.

Awesome!…
"E-trip" eh? I used to have some great ones in the 90's partying all weekend. But I'd never bike on E, that's dangerous.
Great video

Does the sun ever come out on your rides. How about trying other brands of e bikes like Moustached, Riese & Muller.
I'd happily watch more videos like this, if your budget allows for it.
Good to hear!

what bikes and specs were you guys riding on this trip? Great video!
Whats with the 'Won't Get Fooled Again' rip off at 11:43?!
Applause {music} And did those bums, in ancient times, ride upon England's mountains green?

Just one question left unanswered: what was in the other boxes ? 😳🤔
Question time: do you recon any of this is doable on a hardtail? How much harder would it be?
It would still be do-able but you'd have to manage your speed, back off much more and you'd be generally much more fatigued throughout the course of the trip from having to work harder on the bike

How was your specialized battery not fully charged? It takes 3 hrs from dead.
Haha, now there's a story!
I just want to point out that it’s not 16:08pm or whatever it was it’s just 16:08.

Remind me to tell you about my Scottish tick experience on show John hahah
Isn't this just a biking version of top gear (African special) 😂
Fake after top gear Africa special
I think I've just spotted the fatal flaw with e-bikes: no "e" and its just a (heavier) bike. Made for civilisation only.
Herr Absurd if you dont carry a spare battery or ride in a small radius then you have to learn to ride in off mode..
