Lesson 1 - English ALPHABET-Part 1. TIPS for learning VOWELS and CONSONANTS(with Svetlana Nazarenko)

One can hardly start studing a language without knowing its letters, and English language is not the exception! Here you can see the alphabet! It includes 26 letters.
Aa Bb Cc Dd Ee Ff Gg Hh Ii Jj Kk Ll Mm Nn Oo Pp Qq Rr Ss Tt Uu Vv Ww Xx Yy Zz.
Another usefull piece of information. Letters of any language are devived into vowels and consonants. In English language there are 5 vowels: Aa Ee Ii Oo Uu. All another letters are called consonants. But…..there is one very special letter and it is Yy!!!!!! Letter Yy can be regarded as both: a consonant and a vowel! It depends upon the word in which is it used. For example: we can see Yy as a vowel in the following words: myth, my, hymn. And Yy as a consonant in the next words: young, yes, beyond.
